This was so well written, and I truly enjoyed it. The storyline was intriguing that it kept me reading. The characters were likeable with great chemistry, dialogue, and interactions. This was so good.

This is book two of the Alien Chaos series and the story starts some fifteen years before the present day, when the main character, Anna, is visiting the planet Hawk for the first time with her younger sister Scarlett and their parents, who are explorers and have come to check out all the wonderful plants there. The girls are used to playing hide and seek on the ship their father designed and owns, but Scarlett persuades Anna to come with her off the ship and see the amazing waterfall in the nearby woods, something she has only ever seen in books before. As it starts to get dark, they know they have to get back to the ship, but before they can reach it, they hear angry voices and see their parents surrounded by a group of armed men. Scarlett runs to join their parents and Anna can’t stop her. One of the crew grabs ahold of Anna and keeps her quiet, whilst her parents are killed and Scarlett disappears. Anna has no idea if her sister is dead like their parents or not. She returned to her home planet Chaos and was brought up by the man who saved her, Dale, along with his son Max, her best friend.
Years later, she is one of the crew on Max’s ship and they have come to Hawk to drop off supplies to a research team. In the years since her parents were killed, Anna has been searching for information on the man who killed them and all she has found out is that the man is called Weston and he is a well-connected crime lord on Hawk and everyone seems terrified of him. She spends all the money she has chasing him and finally gets a location where he should be and she awaits in the bar for him to appear. What she doesn’t expect is a long-time friend, Todd, to also appear and stop her from taking a risky action before the time is right. She is in love with Todd, a human raised on Chaos, but has made him think she isn’t interested in him at all and that he is at best her friend, believing she isn’t worthy of being loved by anyone. A shock is awaiting her, when the Terror comes into the bar with his hordes of bodyguards, but also with a harem of young women and her sister is one of them! Someone else comes into the heavily guarded bar and attempts to kill Weston, but is captured easily and the pair make their escape in the confusion.
Todd takes her to a hidey hole he has hired and keeps her safe for the night, a rather steamy night, as they both finally reveal their true feelings for each other. They heard that the resistance were responsible for the attempted attack on Weston and try to link up with them to take down Weston, the Terror of Hawk. Anna is still out for revenge for what he did to her family and she now has Todd by her side and the Resistance who want Weston gone as well. What her sister is doing with Weston and if she has been with him since her parents were killed, is a hard truth to discover, as Scarlett may not want to be rescued and may be Anna’s enemy in the fight to come. Anna thought that the person behind her parent’s deaths was Weston, but she will soon find out that he was just a cog in the machine and her parents were targeted. Someone else wanted them dead and paid to see it done. The next book will see Anna, Scarlett and Todd looking at the information Scarlett obtained and searching for the real person behind their deaths. I look forward to reading it and also seeing how Anna and Todd’s relationship progresses. She has Max and the rest of the crew who will also help her in any way, which should be interesting. Anna and her little sister used to travel around space with their scientist parents from planet to planet. Then her parents took them to the planet Hawk. She and her sister were playing outside when her parents returned to their ship but they weren't alone. Five strange armed men came with them and ended up murdering her parents. Her sister Scarlett impulsively ran to their parent's rescue and Anna thought she was killed too. Anna buried the horror of what happened for several years but when the memory came back as an adult, she was determeined to avenge her parents. The last several years she has been tracking down her family's killers. Now their ship has been given an assignment on Hawk and Anna finally has a chance to finded and kill her parent's killer. She is waiting for him in a bar he frequents when she is joined by a childhood friend, Todd. Everyone thinks that she is annoyed by Todd but she hides her true feelings for him. Todd is there to support her on her quest. Anna is about to kill the man who ordered her parent's death when she gets a big shock. Her sister walks in!

Todd has been in love with Anna for a long time. They used to be close friends as children and she shared with him how her parents died. Todd chose his job supporting the commander in hopre of helping Anna in her quest. When he finds out they are being sent to Hawk, he insists on going with them. He knows Anna will be going after her Family's killers. In helping Anna out, he learns of her true feelings for him. Instead of hating him, she has always loved him but she feels unworthy. of him,

It is a fantastic read!!!
When Anna was young she lost everything when she came to Hawk, She watched as her mother, father and sister were killed in front of her.
Now years later she is back for revenge. But nothing is every easy, just as she is waiting for him to enter the bar she feels a man a human man behind her. She knows who it is straight away. The one man that could break her. He had her heart along time ago but she hid it well telling him the exact opposite. Todd knew he would always love Anna, even go to the ends of the earth for her. SO when a problem arises he is quick to offer support.
This is a fast paces book with many twist and turns. you cant help but like The charaters in this book and I'm super excited for the third book.
I am quickly becoming a big fan of Sophie Stern

This very well-written 2nd book in the Alien Chaos Series is a good book with great characters. This book builds on a great world and follows the lives of a well-fleshed out couple that have depth and strength. This story is action-packed and has twists, turns, intrigue, suspense, mystery, chemistry, romance, and love. This must read story is a continuation of a series and you need to read book 1 to not be lost

This is the story of Todd and Anna. Anna was looking for the person and reason why her family was killed. She is close and Todd goes to the planet to try and keep Anna safe. They end up on the run. Great characters and good story. I did feel like I missed out on some of the action because I did not read the first book but still it was an awesome book.

Miss Stern brings it! I could not put this down. It has a twist that you will not see coming and it is worth the time you will spend getting to know these characters! Let the CHAOS begin!! Anna returns to the planet Hawk, to take revenge on the one she thought killed her parents and sister. While there, she sees him with her sister... oh boy. The suspense of what is really going on is only half answered in this part of the story. The help of a new friend (and more) keeps her safe and sane, but the world around her is going sideways.

This was a light hearted story that starts out with some danger and action and stays that way. Anna has finally run her target to ground and the story is about what she does now that she has a name. Plus it also is a friend to lover story too. A light read without a lot of back story or deep characters. And a bit steamy too. So a good entertaining light read.

This is the second book in the series. It is not really necessary to read the first but the characters carryover from it. This is Anna and Todd’s story. She goes to another planet with Max and the crew but her mission is to get revenge for her parents’ murders. Todd catches up with her but she doesn’t like him, right? They are all citizens of the planet Chaos making them “Chaotics” and the capital city is Mayhem. Hmmm. There is some action in the midst of all the sex and the story moves at a good pace. This is another good read in the series.

While their ship was docked and the captain was delivering shipments Anna secretly went to the planet to have her revenge on Weston after being told not to leave the ship.Todd knew she would do this very thing so he went to the planet also to make sure she stayed safe. Todd let Anna know how he felt about her every chance he got but she was too scared to show her feelings for him. A wild and exciting adventure on Hawk with the resistance keeps these lovers on the run.

Loved the book it was great, the story was well written and the characters are interesting. Anna has lost her mum, dad and sister and wants revenge on the person that killed them. Todd is in love with Anna he has been by her side through all the turmoil, the dilemma, the rollercoaster ride of emotions that makes you wanting more.

Revenge is sweet. And finding a lost loved one. Anna has been waiting years to get revenge on the man who killed her parents and her sister Scarlett. She finally tracks him back to the planet she lived on. But when he comes into the bar, her sister is with him. Is her sister a slave or has she been brainwashed and is with him willingly? Her friend and secret love, Todd, stops her from shooting Weston. But as they try to escape someone else comes in and tries to kill Weston. But he fails. Now what does Anna do? She has to find out why Scarlett is with the killer. This had a happily ever after but leaves you with a cliffhanger. Just as the reader is about to find out what really happened to Anna and Scarlett’s parents, the book ends. To be continued in the next book.

Anna is on this revenge crusade I guess the alien who she wouldn’t of killed her parents and her sister. Todd who has been by her side for a long time as always declares his love for her. And I refused. Todd being the human and Anna being the chaotican. Anna is the alien, always a good twist to the adventure. Todd is there to protect her come what May when she starts to find out the truth about the man who she witnessed killed her family. This is a standalone book.There are the characters. Even if some of them are supposed to be dead. I have no clue if that was a spoiler or not but you have to read the book to understand why I said that anyway. A good read the saga continues in the next book. Unfortunately I am reading the books out of order so I kind a know what happens... so catch up.

Anna lost everything years ago when her family lived on Hawk after years of trying she finally tracks their killer down but nothing is as it seems. She is stopped at the last minute form murdering the man she has blamed all along. Now Anna along with a human she meets must try to find out what really happened all those years ago. Can Anna and Todd carve out a happily ever after among all the chaos? This is a well written story with likable characters the only thing I did not enjoy was that it leaves off on a cliffhanger. I guess I will have to wait for the next book to find out what happens.

When I started this novel, I felt like I was missing the first half of the story. I did not read the first novel in this series, so maybe that explains it? Also, I had a really hard time with this author’s voice. As a reader, it just didn’t work for me. I stopped and started and struggled through this novel until about 38% of the way through before I gave up. I’m giving it three stars because it was written cleanly without many typos or wrong word choices. It just wasn’t for me.

This is human Anna who lost everything when her family came to Hawk when she was younger now she is back looking for some answers. She meets Todd a human orphan that was raised on Hawk. This was an awesome book, the second book in the alien chaos series. The characters and plot grabbed me and pulled me in form the beginning . The word usage was awesome and made me feel a part of the story watching the story unfold. I loved the chemistry through out the story and it's a must read for any fan and I can't wait to read more.

Wasn't sure I'd like this, but loved the fact that Anna and Todd work together well especially when they have known each other most of their lives. Anna is looking for person who killed her family many years before. The ending sort of leaves you looking for more answer in the next book of the series. Can't wait for it to come out!
