These are a lot of fun in this series. Holmes is asked to help track down some secretive government paperwork regarding submarine design, and figure out who was responsible for removing the papers from the building.

Holmes and Watson are stuck at home during a massive fog, bored and fed up with nothing exciting to do. Then Holmes brother send a letter needing his help to solve a case of missing papers. Once investigating Holmes finds a murder and twisting case that isn’t easy to solve.

Interesting case, important navy papers having been found on a dead man’s body, a few missing that happens to be important ones. The evidence does add up to how or why the man was found where he was and it gives Holmes so much to look into and consider.

I couldn’t solve all of this case on my own but some of it I could, most of this case were really unwise and detailed. I really liked the way the story was written with snippets of facts but nothing solid and I liked how Holmes continued to figure it out even when there wasn’t much Togo in within the case.

These books are always so much fun to read and solve, Holmes mysteries are so fascinating. I love that they are condescend down and made so much easier and more fun to read and enjoy, with illustrations within the book too. They are such a great read.
