The day Jeremiah Jones walked into the tutor center changed my life. Trigonometry, calculus, Championship basketball games, and a musical later, and we are inseparable. There’s just one problem, well, two: his girlfriend, my boyfriend. Jeremiah and I are from different worlds, and no matter what I do, he will never love me the way I want. Better friends than alone, as my father would say.
Life has a way of throwing you curve balls. Dirty laundry, bad boyfriends, and a car breaking down. I thought I had been dealt the worst cards possible my senior year of college, then I got the call that would change it all. My brother had tried to kill himself and I had to get to him now. Jeremiah is my only hope.
It’s down to one last game: one last day to remember forever, one trip to last a lifetime.
We only have today to create a Snapshot that will last a lifetime or change our paths forever.

This was my first book by Dodson, and I really enjoyed it!
There was a great build up of chemistry between the two main characters and though their love is controversial (appears like cheating) I have to honestly say that the relationships they are in with their partners are very dead. They lack any passion or respect, so by the time these two find each other it doesn’t feel like cheating, more like the beginning of moving on.
I didn’t fully see why Georgia stayed with her bf so long especially after he started showing signs of prejudice BUT it’s hard to leave a comfort zone especially when you are young.
I thought the end was perfect! The plot was smooth and even the extra characters had lots of diversity!
Snap Shot is a friends to lovers to more new-adult romance that is a sweet and complicated read. The story is about Georgia and Jeremiah, two college students who meet when she is hired to tutor him in math. As the tutoring sessions progress they become friends but do not do anything further, as both are in relationships. But what happens when they do finally cross that line and what will happen between them and with those around them. I have read a number of books by Rebekah Dodson and usually quite enjoyed them. This one was good but did not quite reach the level I was expecting. It may be that I do not usually read new-adult romances but I think it was something else also. This is only my opinion though, so take it for what it is worth and instead make up your own mind.
An interesting read with friends first before lovers after Georgia starts tutoring Jeremiah.
This wasn’t quite the read that I was expecting, not necessarily a bad thing, but there were complexities that made life hard. Simple as this… and much as it pains me to say, I don’t support cheaters, and for me there was infidelity, so it became a very difficult book to read. After that, it became very hard to hold my interest, no matter how weel written the book is.
I liked the title, I thought it was catchy, the cover was gorgeous, the writing is great… just the content is not for me…. So, take it as you will, but if cheating by the main characters (even if it’s just kissing AND/OR emotional) is a no-go, then avoid.

I usually don’t read more than one book a week, let alone in a day, but this is the second ARC review book from this author I’ve devoured today. Georgia and Jeremiah had some serious chemistry. I loved how their relationship built up, and I was so relieved when Georgia finally dumped her racist, misogynistic boyfriend because she was clearly into Jeremiah after being his tutor. This book was a nice break from the usual cookie cutter romances with the same old boring, formulaic storylines. This author is definitely one to keep an eye on. I’m already craving more!
Have a tissue handy the day you allow for this complicated contemporary new-adult forbidden interracial college sports romance complicated by controlling significant others and a brother with PTSD,.

Book Title: Snap Shot Subtitle: Author: Rebekah Dodson Genre: Romance Part of a series? No Order in series: Best read after earlier books in series? N/A Available: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/4... Overall score: I scored this book 5/5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ Short Summary of the book: This book tells the story of Georgia, a college student and maths tutor. Although she is not really one of the popular girls, she strikes up an unlikely friendship with one of the students she tutors. Jeremiah is a rich boy, basketball captain and one of the popular guys in college. Although Georgia has a boyfriend and Jeremiah a girlfriend, their friendship is a close one, one that changes for Georgia. Georgia’s brother suffers from PTSD and depression following his stint in the army. Will Georgia and Jeremiah end up together or is their unlikely friendship going to die a death under the pressures of the expectations of others? What I liked about the book: I particularly liked how Jeremiah did not care whether Georgia was one of the popular girls or not. They got along and spent time together when they could. What I didn’t like about the book: I wasn’t impressed by how she continued with a relationship she was not happy in. the same could be said for Jeremiah’s relationship with his girlfriend. My favourite bits in the book: I loved where the easy friendship between Georgia and Jeremiah allowed them to spend time together without worrying about boyfriend and girlfriend problems. My least favourite bits in the book: I didn’t like it when Jeremiah did not back Georgia up when his girlfriend caused problems for her. Any further books in the series? Any more planned by this author? I don’t know if the author plans any sequels to this book. What books could this be compared to and why? I can’t think of any books to compare this one at present although the love triangle is certainly not a stranger in a lot of romance novels. Recommendation: In summary, I would recommend this book for the following readers:
Children No Young Adult Yes Adult Yes
If you like romance novels this book could be the book for you.
I look forward to reading more books by this author. Book Description by Author: One day to remember forever, one trip to last a lifetime.

I have a secret, and I don't know how to tell Georgia. She's been my best friend since I started college, but this could change everything. When she calls me and asks for a ride when her car breaks down, I don't expect the interception we have to face.

Some books will grab my attention from the beginning and some just can't grab my attention. This book was one that I tried to get in to but it just couldn't hold my attention. The description of the book seemed interesting but the story line just didn't do it for me. It's not a book for me but someone else may enjoy it.
