SPOILER ALERT IN THIS REVIEW

Informational text about the events that lead up to the 1929 stock market crash. Explains the mindset that people had about the stock market at this time. Goes into detail on specific cases where the stock market helped people and where it lost people money. Also shows the struggles people faced after the crash like supporting a family, getting a job, and depression for some that lost everything due to this crash. Easy read and leaves you with knowledge about an important event.

One reason this book is a good read is because the vocab is defined so you wont get lost in reading words like "bear and bull market" so anyone can read this book without any prior knowledge of the stock market. Another reason i liked this book is because it reads like a story with data and dates and names sprinkled in. one bad part about this book is how at times it can be a little dull but this being an informational text they have to include boring information or facts to make it as accurate as possible.

I would most likely not recommend this book to others because many people might not find informational text or the history of the stock market as interesting as i do.
