In nomine maius bonum... In the name of the greater good.

That's the motto for St. Michael's Academy, the illustrious and renowned school for future Guardians. Demons roam the earth, terrorizing humans, and it's up to the Shadowguard to stop them.

My name is Aspen Van Der Klay. I grew up ignorant of the real world. My mom hid the truth from me, but her death spurred a series of events which landed me right in the middle of Shadowguard Society.

Now, I'm determined to be the best Guardian this world has ever seen. I won't let anything stop me. Not the uppity elites, not my bigoted instructors, and certainly not my disapproving mentor who is just as likely to make my heart race as my blood boil.

When Guardians start to go missing, it’s up to the Shadowguard to figure out what is happening before it’s too late. Our numbers are dwindling, and we can't afford to let the demons discover our weakness. There’s a great threat on the horizon, and I fear Guardians might not have what it takes to stop it.

Fans of Vampire Academy and Shadow Hunters will devour this newest series by USAT Bestselling author Samantha Britt.

*This book is intended for readers 16 years of age or older. Demon Guard contains aspects of violence, foul language, and romance.

The demon watches me. I curse my inability to scream when he lifts a hand and brushes a finger against my cheek. “The resemblance is uncanny,” he murmurs, continuing to stroke my cheek. “I had to get a closer look to be sure.” - Belial

Four years ago

Thirteen year old Aspen has been living rough on the streets of Chicago since she ran away from her foster home, following the death of her mother a year ago. Before dying, her mother had made Aspen promise to run away if strangers with odd coloured eyes ever came looking for her and tried to take her away.

One night, while scrounging the streets for food, Aspen is attacked by a demon but rescued by two Guardians, Master Patrick and Logan, who kill the demon. The men come to realise that not only does Aspen bear their Shadowguard Mark on her forearm but that the demon had been sent to kill her. They take her into protective custody and shortly after, Aspen is adopted by the Van der Klay family.

Present day

Aspen is now 17 years old and has spent the last four years being prepped to attend the prestigious St Michaels Academy for Guardians. Her foster brother, Lex is already a student there. By attending the Academy, Aspen not only aspires to become a Guardian, but hopes to find answers about her mother.

On her first day at the Academy, Aspen finds a friend in chirpy Cortney Elms and the sardonic Peter Michaels but gets off on the wrong foot with Lauren Thibodeaux and her posse as well as one of the Lecturers, Kevin Jones who teaches Demonology. She also finds herself the source of envy when it’s revealed that her mentor is Guardian Hendricks, the son of the Head Minister of the Guardian Council no less. Aspen is shocked when her mentor turns out to be none other than Logan, the Guardian who rescued her four years ago and who left an impression on her. Upon meeting Logan however, she’s hurt by his indifference and realises he has no memory of her.

Aspen comes to learn that several Guardians have gone missing and when a gig she is attending with friends is attacked by mundane demons, Aspen realises they were targeting Guardians and students only and not humans. Aspen escapes after being warned by a purple eyed higher demon but when he saves her again after her getaway vehicle is targeted, she can only wonder why he would do so. When Logan’s search for the missing Guardians once more puts her life in danger, Belial intervenes and saves her from Azazel again. Aspens begs Belial for answers.

“Very well, little mountain. You deserve an answer. You remind me of a young woman I met many years ago. Several young women, in fact. Your bloodline runs deep. If you have never felt so inclined might I suggest you research your family members’ identities? I believe doing so will be quite enlightening.”

Demon Guard is the first instalment of the Shadowguard Academy series. It was also my first introduction to the author and I was not disappointed. The author has concocted a highly entertaining, suspenseful plot, filled with unexpected twists and characters that leap from the page making it a truly engaging read.

From the offset, I found myself totally immersed in the premise of the story about an orphaned teen who is fostered into a high powered family, who enrols in a prestigious academy for demon hunters while trying to find out the truth about her past. Her quest leads her to a higher demon who seems to have all the answers and with whom she feels a strange connection to. The question is why?

The strength of the book lies in the exceptional character development and world building that the author has gone at great lengths to portray. We have a world in which Guardians, imbued with superhuman strength, speed and the ability to wield magic, originate from Thaddeus, a man who lived over a thousand years ago. God gifted Thaddeus with the skills to kill demons after his family were murdered. In return Thaddeus agreed to share the gift with others by remarrying and having offspring. A Guardian’s magic supposedly lies dormant until the age of 18. The Academy then helps them to wield their magic and develop their combat skills in order to kill demons. Some of these skills involve the use of Sigils. The four basic sigils in a Guardians arsenal are; strength enhancement, accelerated healing, resistance to demon venom and the beacon sigil for when one is in trouble.

Demons in turn come under three groups. Higher demons are the oldest and most powerful of their kind, their abilities making them the hardest to kill. Mundane demons do the bidding of the higher demons and aren’t very intelligent. Their venom is lethal however. If an antidote is not produced in time to combat their venom, the victim becomes one of them. Lesser demons are the result of a higher demon mating with a mortal. Despite their evil tendencies, they have some shred of humanity to overcome them.

I was impressed at how effortlessly the author was able to bring her characters to life through her impressive world building. Aspen is an feisty, appealing and resilient protagonist who the reader will instantly relate to. Losing her mother so young and living on the streets obviously toughened her up but there is a vulnerability beneath the surface and a desire to prove herself.

Logan was an equally interesting character who seems to have been through a lot in the four years since Aspen first met him. What has changed him from the patient and considerate youth who helped Aspen to the embittered man he’s become? Did he lose someone possibly?

Most intriguing of all however, was Belial. The scenes between him and Aspen positively sizzled with chemistry and were my favourite aspects of the book. He obviously has all the answers regarding who Aspen is;

“Can the Guardians really not know the jewel in their possession?”

What are his reasons for trying to protect Aspen? Why is she so important to him and what kind of magic is he waiting for her to come into? I can’t wait to find out. He’s certainly my favourite character though, but whether he is the the anti villain or the anti hero remains to be seen. I’m looking forward to reading more about Aspen’s journey as well as her heritage. Roll on book two!

Highly recommended for fans of urban fantasy, academy books, demons, guardians, strong female leads, mysteries etc

My Rating: 4.7 ⭐️

Okay so this little book just got released like yesterday or the day before…I can’t really remember because my brain is dumb…but it is out now and I’d def recommend Academy book lovers to pick this one up, or really any fantasy lover but its a great read! If you haven’t yet heard or read this book...Go and read it.

I really enjoyed sooo much about this book and not just because

Hehe nope it wasn't just that...but I may have just acquired a new #BookBoyfriend. Okay so aside from the hot guy alert lol...I loved this story a LOT. At first it did initially take me a little to get into maybe 6 chapters? But once I had fallen into the world...POOF I was a goner.

I loved the world we were brought into and the structuring that took place. I couldn't help but love like pretty much everything about it. The characters were amazing and well constructed and even the characters you weren't really meant to like you still felt the power to appreciate them. Although one teacher comes clearly to mind and I just want to introduce fist to face lol.

I'm just a wee bit invested...but he's a douche and I do not like him. Okay maybe I take that back. Nope I don't appreciate him...unless I appreciate how much I don't appreciate him. lol. It's a confusing place in my mind. It's hard to unravel sometimes. You remember Stiles's wall of red string? That's my brain...Unsolved 😂

Anywho, onto important matters. So, basically the story starts 4 years past the present day and we learn that Aspen has lost her mum (at 11 years of age) and is now living on the street two years later. Which, one, is heartbreaking and two her mother made her promise something just before she died. She told her that Strangers may come for her with weird coloured eyes and at all cost she had to get away from them.

But one night she is out looking for food and in the shadows of the alley a monster emerges attacking her and from there she is saved and the young man takes her into a safehouse and she soon learns that Demons are real and that the birthmark on her arm means that she, like the man that saved her, is a Guardian. Ones that basically protect the world from the things that go bump in the night.

The story then jumps to when Aspen is 17 nearly 18 and she is attending an interview to be let into the prestigious St. Michael's Guardian Academy. Where they will be taught all they need to know about becoming a Guardian. What I didn't mention was that Aspen was taken in by a well known family who adopted her as their own and under their foster care Aspen was taught about this whole new world and even how to fight. Coz everyone gotto know how to fight before they even go to this school. They only take the best of the best.

Anywho, don't want to give much more information away about the story...but each new student is assigned a mentor and who else does Aspen get? But the young man that saved her those 4 years ago and he's also the Head Minister's (of the Council) son! Of course he is! Buuutt he's nothing like she remembers...yes he's as gorgeous as ever, probably even more so ;) but he is anything but the gentle, kind soul she had dreamed about. In fact...He doesn't even remember her...GASP...or does he?

Guess you'll have to read it to find out hehe.

But as she is settling into life at the academy she makes some friends...which she didn't really want. But lucky for her they don't shake off that easily. Thank goodness because I love her friends! I soo relate to her roomie. #MotherHenAlert ...but I have to share this quote because it just made me laugh lol.

"I don’t know how, but it looks like I just made my second friend at St. Michael’s Academy. How in the world does this keep happening?"

After one night out she runs into some trouble at the bar and Demons attack but before that happens she found herself face to face with a demon with violet eyes...

And from here things go downhill for her, well sorta, but its definitely where things start happening....but also where her and her mentor finally start getting on just a little bit. So yay for us lol.

Now they have to work out why a certain Violet eyed demon is interested in Aspen and why there's a sudden disappearance of guardians.

If I had to pick one thing I was slightly disappointed with was that although Aspen could fight she never really got the opportunity to do so really. Which was a little sad because you saw how amazing she was and I wanted some girl kick-butt action going on lol. but other then that I totally loved it and got really wrapped up into this world.

Also I totally can't wait to see more of these characters again in book 2...Coz I need some more Aspen and Logan and her awesomesaucy friends.

Annnddd that's all I'm saying on the plot side of things. We all know this ↓ probably has something to do with it. lol

The only thing I have left to say is that this book will take you on a journey and you can't help but want to know more. Thank goodness this book doesn't really have what I class as a cliffhanger but it does leave it very nicely open that your just like I want to gobble it all up.

If you like a chick that doesn't just go with the flow and is sassy and just plain kick-butt and awesome. You are going to enjoy this story and all that it offers.

Thank you so much Samantha for the opportunity to read this ARC in place for an honest review. It was so much fun reading this book and when I realised the release of the next book wasn't until March I was like

But hey on a good note it releases extremely close to my birthday...I think its preorder date is the 20th and mine is 4 days before that. So maybe I'll get it by my birthday...Samantha...

Well that's all for now...so

Happy Reading My Nerdy Friends

This book had potential. Unfortunatly, its biggest fall was the main character. There are so many high school books out there now that they all tend to blend into one anyway, but me and Aspen did not get on.
I read 50 pages and they were hard enough. It started out nice but once it got to the high school bit it was a bit humm well hard.

This is not a good book, but you should read it, if only because of Belial.
He is the only reason why I keep reading this series over and over.
I actually just skip to the parts he is in, and don’t really bother with the rest.

Why, you may ask.
It’s the main character.
My god, I can’t stand her.
She ask so many questions. It shouldn’t be possible.
The only way the reader will ever be presented with new information is when the main character asks a question.
And through the series I can’t count how many times she ask something, and gets a very specific answer, which leads to her having to ask a thousand questions combined to get the full story.

I want to pull my hair just by writing this.

DNF this book. I didnt like it at all, either the plot, writing or the main character.

I tried to forced myself to finish it and had a feeling I was close to a reading slump that I had to stop.

An Exciting, At Times Emotionally Painful, But Throughout An Excellent Read!!😢👹🙏♑💥
Demon Guard: Shadowguard Academy Book 1

Aspen is 11 years old when her Mum has her last ever conversations with her. She makes her promise if anyone tried to take her that has yellow, silver or even purple eyes she must run, she must NEVER go with them!! It's an easy promise to make. Her Mum passes away not long after!!💔😭 She's immediately placed into care but runs away & has been living on the streets for 2 years when we first meet her.😢 She's going to get food when something prickles her senses, she tries to hide but something monstrous arrives before she can escape!!😳 She's terrified & isn't sure what she's seeing but before it attacks her two cloak wearing figures land in front of her. One grabs her & pulls her to safety while the other kills the monstrous creature!😱👹🔪 The second one doesn't waste time, he snatches her, wanting to know why it was after her, she is clueless! He pulls her sleeve up & is shocked, he says to the one that pulled her to safety "I don't believe it, She's one of us!" . They then drag her 'for her own good & safety' with them to a safe house!😳

Four years later we discover that Aspen had been taken in & cared for by the Van Der Klay family. They've even given her their name, she is now Aspen Van Der Klay!😍 They are a well respected family & the Dad is on the Council. You see what they all are is Guardian's, they fight Evil all over the world to protect all of Humanity!!😱🙏💥 Aspen misses her new brother, Lex, when he leaves for their equivalent of College, So she passes all of her exams & finishes school early. She's hoping to attend the top Shadowguard Academy with him, St Michael's. When she turns 18 in a few months her magic will ignite & she'll be able to train fully to become a Guardian IF she can pass her interview with the Headmistress!!😳🙏🍀

I was absolutely sucked in & riding the roller coaster of Aspen, her friends, family & teachers lives in this book. It's so captivating. I loved how this society lives side by side secretly, with regular humans, which of course Aspen had thought she was originally! This has semi religious themes in its origin story but the modern Guardian's aren't particularly religious. The storyline that emerges around Aspen is nail biting & terrifying!!😳😢💥 I don't know how long the wait is for book #2 is but I'm really hoping it's not very long!!🙏💕 I highly recommend this book. If you like The Mortal Instruments and Dark Blood Academy you are going to love this!!😍🌟

Gimme more 😉

Okay, this one sucked me in. From the beginning I was drawn to Aspen, and I had so much empathy for her situation. Her relationships with her adopted brother, Lex, was sweet, and her realisation of what Vivian needed from her shows her insight into other people.

Once at the academy, things change a bit faster as the action begins not too long after classes start. There are two professors that I am leery of, well, one professor and one mentor, but when Logan arrives is when things begin to unravel for Aspen. It ends with some interesting twists, so I’m gonna grab book 2 and see what happens.

Aspen, who is fostered by the Van der Klay family after she found on the streets of Chicago, is finally going to St. Michael's Academy for Guardian training. Her best friend and foster brother Lex, who is already a 2nd year student there, will be there to watch her back as a big brother would which is a blessing for Aspen as she is more of a loner than a joiner. She already has a plan to become the best Guardian and to be the top of her class, especially because she wants to be able to learn more about her mother and why she didn't share her heritage with Aspen. She has many questions but no one can, or will, answer them except for the high level Demon Belial who seems to be infatuated with her.

If you have read the Mortal Instruments books that I would encourage you to read Demon Guard. There are similarities to this series but also differences. It doesn't matter if you enjoyed the Mortal Instruments series or not I believe that you will enjoy this one. It is super easy to read and you won't want to put it down until you finish it. I myself will be moving on to the next in the series fairly quickly, as I can't stand to not have the next book to read in a series. I liked the imagery that was provided of which demons were found on which levels. I really enjoyed the imagery of the higher level demon and Aspen's interactions as well as that between her and Logan her Mentor. You could almost see the fiery defiance and lust within each interaction. I also really enjoyed the camaraderie between Aspen and her friends and other classmates, I felt that being a new student and a person who is only 4 years into knowing only a portion of who or where she came from would be very off putting but Aspen seems to revel in these circumstances.

I recommend this book to everyone interested in any type of supernatural/fantasy type books. It is a real page turner with some exciting possible twists.

(3.5 stars) - entertaining, but with a parental caveat

The premise is interesting, so I decided to give this a try. I generally avoid angels/demons type stories because there's always something painfully flawed in the world building. Unfortunately, this one turned out not to be an exception.

In this story, God has no control over the demons - BUT He can imbue a human with gifts that can be passed on to the man's children to fight & defeat them? Apparently God CAN create a boulder too big for Him to lift, lol (that's a superficial puzzle which is answered by the fact that God can't do what's illogical or irrational)

So, yeah, I won't go into more since that would take this into spoiler territory, but the story does have some plot flaws, & the development is a little rough in some places; however, it does at least tell an engaging story with likeable characters to the point that I want to keep reading to find out what happens.

So, I'd say this is a book to enjoy when you're in the mood for something paranormally entertaining rather than deep.

Parents of teens may want to consider the following content issues, esp as potential springboards for discussion:

*Clean romance level: passionate kisses, a seductive demon, but nothing graphic

*Language: a mild sprinkling of the common ones, no f-bombs

*Religion: a gay character is disowned by his old, inflexibly religious dad (faithful=hateful stereotype); multiple uses of God's Name in vain, sadly & unnecessarily, but at least not as curses, fwiw; odd how they're supposed to have been given these gifts by God but have largely set Him aside as irrelevant

This is my second series by this author and once again I really enjoyed it.

In this series we have a girl who didn’t realise her importance in a world of fantasy creatures, the main focus here being demons. We get to follow her journey on becoming a Guardian so she can help fight against the demons and protect the human population. As well as this Aspen is searching for answers about her birth parents, as her mother died when she was younger leaving her as an orphan.

Yet again what intrigued me most is the romance aspect of this. We get introduced to a lovely dark character who instantly had my attention (I have a type what can I say?).

My only complaint is the whole “I’m not like other girls” vibe coming through a little strong. I’ll put a small quote below.

——

“I had a hard life. The Van der Klays took me in, and for that I’ll always be thankful, but it doesn’t change the fact I’m not like the normal stuck up, rich girls who usually attend St. Michael’s. I’m strong. And tough. I can take care of myself.”

——

Look, it didn’t bother me too much in general. This quote in particular though annoyed me. We have the usual trio of ‘bitches’ but other than that every other character introduced has been pretty cool so why are they basically all labelled as “normal stuck up rich girls”?

For the most part Aspen is a strong character and I’m excited to see where this series goes. I just hope it’s toned down a bit. Onto the next one!

Is this a flagrant rip-off of Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunters Series? Oh yeah. With a little Vampire Academy thrown in for good measure.

Is it still entertaining. Absolutely. It's exactly what you'd expect from the cover and description.

Just for fun, here's a non-exhaustive list of similarities between Shadowhunters and Shadowguard Academy.

1. The protagonist's mom hid the protagonist from Shadow(guard/hunter) society until she was taken out of the picture.

2. Demons come in multiple types, the smart scary ones (greater/higher demons), the common dumb ones (lesser/mundane demons) which you can turn into (via venom/demon pox), and the more human ones (downworlders/lesser demons/).

3. The human-like supernatural creatures include vampires, werewolves, warlocks, and a fourth category (succubi/incubi or fairies), and one or more are the result of demon-human mating. They're allowed to live as long as they don't commit any crimes, but are looked on with suspicion and bigotry by many Shadow(guards/hunters)

4. Shadow(guards/hunters) use magical temporary tattoos (sigils/runes) drawn with steles/styluses
that enhance strength and healing, among other functions. These can be drawn by the user or a partner.

5. Belial, an original demon/prince of hell takes a personal interest in a specific Shadow(guard/hunter).

Aspen Jones mother dies just before her 12th birthday. Before she dies her mother makes her promise she won't have anything to do with folks that have strange color eyes, especially purple. Now, she is thirteen and is accosted by a demon and saved by a guardian, Logan. She is adopted by the Van der Klay family. She lives with they until she graduates high school and is admitted to St. Michael’s Guardian Academy where her foster brother is a second year student. She makes a couple of friends Cortney and Peter. She is assigned Guardian Hendricks as her personal mentor. When Aspen meets her mentor she finds that he is the one who saved her from the demon but he seems not to remember her.
After a rough day of classes, Cortney convinces her to go to a see a small band with her and Peter. The place is full and the music is great. Aspen feels that she is being watched. She sees someone in the shadows that appears t be watching her. When they take a break to get something to drink, the watcher approaches Aspen. She becomes entranced and can't move away. One thing she notices is he has purple eyes. He tells her to leave and then the place is attacked by demons.
The story gets very involved after this point and holds your interest.

Great new series with lots of background information provided for the readers’ benefit. Aspen is a strong character who has overcome much drama in her life. When she starts at the Shadowguard Academy, she isn’t sure what to expect. The story is filled with action and some surprises along with a romantic interest. I can’t wait to read more of Aspen’s adventures.

When orphaned and homeless, Aspen Jones knew only one thing. Stay away from anyone with weird colored eyes who would try to take her away. That's what her mom spent her last talk with her to say before her sickness took her away. Aspen went on the run, and when a food run turns demon rescue, she becomes Aspen Van Der Klay. With a new name comes new privilege. A family with money and status, now it's time to use that name to get in to the best Guardian school. It's time for her to become the best Guardian and start taking down demons on her own.

Aspen is ready to kick butt and figure out where she really came from. Becoming the best Guardian is part of her path. Normally not a huge people person, Aspen is making some quick friends, and a few enemies. I love the characters and book one is not enough.

Another exciting fantasy tale from Samantha Britt. I've come to really enjoy her stories. I'm not one for spoilers as I think it takes away from the excitement of enjoying the book but I will say that it's a story of demons and guardians and about a sassy girl named Aspen who finds out at a young age that her destiny is to be a guardian. I truly enjoyed reading this book, there is great world building, great characters that you find yourself caring for. There's a mystery as to who Aspen's parents are, with all the interest Belial shows in her, I'm wondering if she's part demon. Can't wait to find out what happens to everyone, bring on the next book!

Wow, did this book suck me in. I got completely wrapped up in it and did not want to put it down for anything. I needed to know what happened next.

The world Ms. Britt has created is superb and detailed, creating a well-developed world and characters. Aspen is strong and determined, and Logan, while protective, is a bit reckless without meaning to be. There’s a bit of mystery to him I can’t wait to uncover. And his dad? Ugh, I wish I could reach through the book and smack him. There’s a lot of mystery surrounding Aspen, too. As an orphan, she doesn’t really know who she is, and I have a feeling that once she finds out, things will never be the same.

Ooh I loved this one. Aspen is so fierce, and I am here for it. There is so much mystery about Aspen that is yet to be uncovered, and I am having fun guessing at the possibilities. I loved the group of friends she made, and her interactions with them were a lot of fun. She went from no family to a loyal group who has her back, and I can't wait to see what happens next.

The beginning of the book was great to give us a knowing of the character of Aspen. There are so many secrets. And not sure who to root for more. The mentor or the demon. I can't wait to find out more. Especially more about her ancestors.

Didn't like the lead characters at all. The plot was kinda boring. I mean yeah Aspen is way too shallow. She's like oh I'm a bad ass I don't need friends and I'm getting soft. I hoped she'd had more to her.

DNFd at 50%.

so there's so many books that are similar to this one out there that this one falls in the meh category. there's not a whole lot going on and the biggest flaw in the series is the fact that it is a four-part series and at like 900 pages there is too much fluff in this storyline. I've read 50% so far of the first book and it's just a whole lot of nothing going on. I feel like everything that's happened so far could have been in two chapters. the FMC is also pretty naive considering she's lived in the demon territory for a long ass time. I do find some of the plot line interesting like the fact that when the conflict happened and people were blessed that both she and her brother reacted in the way that they did. I think she was really naive when she was talking especially when she was talking about demons servitude and what she thought that was going to be like. I mean she wasn't that dumb if she's been living in the demon territory section for years at this point I feel like she wouldn't have been so nonchalant about it and assuming that nothing was going to happen to her and that she wasn't going to be sold off multiple times like what. then you have the mmcs and the main one you deal with in this book is Lincoln and other than him being like hot there really isn't any other like redeeming relationship qualities going on. I don't know it just feels like a whole lot of writing for not a lot of movement in the story

Hello Mrs. Britt
I am Peighton Novakowski and I am in 10th grade I am doing a book review and was wondering if you can answer a few questions. I was wondering what inspired you to write this book? And if you were to write more books would it be on the same topic? Because the series I read on Demon guard was really good and I would read the series over again
Thanks for your time & let me know what you think ~ Peighton

Lots of fun to read.

Demons, sword fights and hunky boys, oh my. This story is one of my favorites. Can't wait for the next book. The first in the series, Aspen finds out she has an exceptional future after being on her own on the streets. Her hunky hero turns out to be her mentor, he drags her into a dangerous situations and asks her to lie to her teachers and family. The question is will she survive long enough to reach her 18th birthday.

Leaves you wanting to know what happens next!

Easy to read, this book introduces strong male and female characters (who will no doubt be further developed in future books). Whilst it portrays good versus evil, it also shows that things are often not as straightforward as they initially appear.

Pretty good

It’s not super original and I can guess where the storyline is going, there is the too obvious “trio mean girl” cliche, BUT I really like the characters, the writing and will definitely keep going. Just hope it’s not as stereotypical in the next book.

Unnecessary fillers

To be honest, I couldn’t finish the book. I’m maybe 20% in and all I’m getting is full paragraphs about completely bland topics. I don’t need to read two paragraphs of how someone shampoos when they shower.

Good beginning

Not exactly what I was expecting but it's good. It's a little slow, but that could just be me. I've recently had a huge disruption in my life and that could be affecting how I'm feeling. Give it a chance. You never know what you'll like until you try it.

This is an interesting story. A girl created by God to be. Guardian and guard humans from demons. She is the reincarnate of one of the original guardians who was a soul mate to an original demon. Clean, interesting story.

Cool

This is quite an exciting story so far. Aspen the subject of the story find herself involved in some very questionable situations and no one quite knows why. It will be interesting to find out what is going on with her.
