Empowering

This book empowers all women in any walk of life. I highly recommend so that any woman can learn for themselves and understand what it’s like to be a woman not just in a STEM world, but in a man’s world.

This book to me is like a pocket-sized career coach. It gives you practical tools to become more work-smart. Much of the discussion definitely applies to fields outside of STEM as well.

I had the chance to meet Gabriela in a workshop and she is an experienced coach with a lot of knowledge and wit. The book is well-organized, the message is clear, and through Gabriela’s website you can get more resources to complement the tools that she provided in the book.

Definitely the type of book that I’d consult again in the future.
