About Me

Born and raised in India, I wrote whenever I could—even after becoming a doctor. Writing was my savior during tough times, though it always remained just a hobby. Later, I moved to Australia to further my research and complete a PhD in Biomedical Sciences.

People often say, “You change after completing your PhD.” I certainly have. Suddenly (don’t ask me why!), I feel a strong urge to write more books and share my stories with the world. I’ve also discovered a deep passion for helping others develop their research and creative skills—something that has become one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life.

A fantastic first book in the Romoult Cranston mystery series. The main character, Roumoult is haunted by nightmares and paranormal visions. He returns home to his family estate, where strange paranormal events continue to occur, bodies killed in unexplainable ways show up at the morgue, and people keep trying to kill him in his sleep. I loved the wonderful atmospheric writing. Romoult is an interesting character between his work in law and the morgue, and his eccentric family, who were also interesting characters. The novel had gorgeous settings, from grand mansions to eerie passageways. Lots of hard-boiled detective work and clues that required research looking back into family history, family members keeping secrets, and a mystery to solve across several generations. I’m definitely interested in reading more of this series. 5/5 stars.

I purchased this book because of the amazing reviews on Amazon and oh boy, they were all right. This book is fantastic, the story is so beautiful and full of emotions, I couldn't put this down until I ended. The characters are so real and so well written that you can easily find yourself or a friend reflected on them, you start to love and care for them. Amazing book!!! can´t wait to read more from H.G Ahedi.

I happily endorse this story to any and all who are looking for a thriller enjoyable read and a completely different experience than anyone could imagine on their own. Black Moon is a powerful story about a man who is hunted by an unseen killer. I highly recommend this book

Being the first book that I have read of H.G Ahedi, I very much enjoyed the twists and turns. You think you have figured it all out until you haven't. It is an interesting, well told story which keeps your attention throughout, due to her ability to describe with ease. I do have to admit I did like Roumoult a lot, and the relationship he has with his grandfather Frank. William, Roumoult's best friend is a likeable character, with many issues including a temper, a lack of a father figure yet is the first to stand beside his best friend when an accident occurs. "Stay low. Stay down. They know what they are doing." Or do they?
If you enjoy a fast paced book, with lots of twists and turns this is for you.

I love reading supernatural thrillers and this is why when I came across this book, I knew that I had to give this a try. The narration is worth appreciation. It compliments the eerie setting of the plot. The plot is well-structured, maintaining the readers interest. This was definitely a page turner for me. Its a part of a series but the best part is that this can be read as a standalone. The language is lucid too. I read it in one sitting. The story is very interesting. Its a must try!

A centuries old curse and a murder mystery

This supernatural mystery grabbed my attention from the beginning (granted part of that was due to me being familiar with some of the locations in the book) and didn't let go until the very end. Mix murder mysteries, a ghostly entity, and a generations old curse and you've got the perfect Halloween read.

Feuds that last for a lifetime.

Cranston is the target. Because he is he feels the need to solve the case. H. G. Ahedi writes detective novels that will hold you from page one. You try to solve the mystery. All the clues and characters are there but the answer is just out of your grasp. Written in the style of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle you find yourself enthralled with Cranston and his friends.

Haunting

Really enjoyed reading this hauntingly good book!

I am more of a nonfiction reader, but after reading Haunted, I had to read Black Moon. If someone wants to kill you, you want to know why? Black Moon is a powerful story about a man who is hunted by an unseen killer. The characters, the dialogues and the plot line is excellent! I particularly like the way the ending turn out (Nope, no spoilers here!) It surpassed high expectations and was nothing at all like I expected. If I were you, I would definitely try it!

Intriguing, suspenseful and takes you on a ride! The story stands out from your general murder mysteries. Here the assassins sent after the main character are being killed, and no one knows by whom or why. There are several aspects i really liked such as the vanishing train, the dog and especially the climax. I personally wish the story was a bit fast pace but it was a good read. I suggest give it a try!

An engaging story!

I enjoyed reading this book. The interesting story is well told, and the characterisation and scene setting is excellent.

I’d previously read ‘Haunted’ with its many twists and turns, and found this one much easier to follow. I look forward to the other books this author is publishing later in the year. I’ve already preordered one.

Bought this book when it was on sale and thought I would read a few pages each day. I was so wrong. I began reading it on the train, and finished it in two days! The murder mystery with a supernatural twist set in 2003. Its an intricate story, amazing written for a wider audience.

Black Moon by H.G. Ahedi is the story which revolves around Roumoult Cranston and his family. When Roumoult visits his ancestral house, he feels a kind of unease and nightmares start disturbing him. Later on, he becomes aware that someone has put an assassin after him. Despite the warnings, he explores the ancestral mention and learns about the secrets of his ancestors. Murders, betrayal, and some other nasty secrets are buried in the lives of his ancestors. Will the secret help Roumoult or will it put his life in danger? Will there be other murders? Will NYPD be able to catch the culprits? Who is or what is behind all these? Will Roumoult be able to survive all this mayhem and put an end to this madness? To know the answers, you will have to read this book. The author has woven an intricate story that will keep you engaged until the end.

This is a very strange and quirky story. I would say that I loved the writing style, and it was so good it kept me invested. There were times when I forgot that I was reading a book and felt as if I was living out the characters in a way. I clung to every word in this book, sometimes stopping to savor a particular phrase delivered by the narrator. And the ending delivered!

This is the first book I've read by this author's and I'm kicking myself in the behind for overlooking her books! After this review, I will make it a point to get my hands on a copy of all the other books available as soon as possible.

If you are a fan of supernatural elements with a mix of thriller, you have to read this book. I would have given it more stars if I could have. From the first to the last page, I couldn't read fast enough and finished it in one sitting. Loved the characters. Creepy and tragic. Loved the ending! Now that i think of it, the way plot was executed, this should be a movie! Very well written.

I hope this author has more, I will definitely be checking out her profile immediately after this review.

Black Moon is written by the author H.G.Ahedi. I liked Roumoult's character. When Roumoult finds bob in his room, he starts to wonder how bob entered and starts his own investigation. Bob here is a dog. The way this book is written is amazing. The writing style of the author is fantastic. The language used is simple and easy. Go read this book.
