Perseverance☺
When things got too difficult, Gritty Ninja used to simply give up. Unplugged Ninja helped him to stay calm, focused and have fun while learning and practicing a new task or sport. It worked! Great tools for any young child overcoming obstacles toward reaching their goals.

I liked this one more than my 3yo son. 4 C's to help not give up: confident, calm, carefree, and capable. My husband thought the use of "carefree" was not the best. And the order doesn't stay the same throughout the book which isn't the easiest for reinforced repetition. But the lesson to not give up definitely comes through.

Fun and educational book series
We love to read Ninjas book with my son. Every book have fun moments that makes him laugh and learning lesson at the end of the book. We have a chance to discuss what we learn and use in every day activities.

Grit and perseverance is the key to success
I highly recommend Gritty Ninja to help kids see that success is not easy, but if you persist and have grit, even if you fail, you can eventually succeed! A great book about persistence, perseverance, grit, and life!

Great book on Grit
I enjoyed the story. A sweet lesson that encourages children to be confident and to not give up on their goals. Mental toughness is an essential skill for children to gain at an early age.

Great book
Me and my son enjoyed this book so much. Sometimes when you have ADHD is so hard to keep trying or just stay focused. This book show us the importance of keep trying and not giving up. This book is a perfect sample for those kids that need extra encouragement.

Great author and great book
I never imagined we can teach kids these important life lessons so easily. Mary always does very good job in writing stories which has solid content. Really happy to have this story read to my kid.

I love this series! My five year old chose it at the library and he really connected with the story of the boy who gave up when things got hard. He realized that it isn’t a good strategy and we talked about other options. Nice!

Cute story and goal tips
Very cute story Line that kept my toddler interested.I love that it gave 4 tips to succeeding and then the story continued and showed those tips in action.
