Angelina Gianetti is a lot of things: mother to an absolutely adorable four year old daughter, sister to the world's most spirited wild child, heir apparent of Papa Gino's Famous Italian Cuisine, and a 26 year old widow. Papa Gianetti, her mentor and father-in-law, loves her like his own, and the whole matter of his retirement looks settled and done... Until Vinny shows up at the restaurant for work.
Vincenzo Gianetti is several things as well: Papa's nephew, a former Marine, a high placing, extremely controversial contestant on a famous reality television cooking show... And a ridiculously good looking, ab-rippling, trash-talking Jersey Shore A-hole. The whole kitchen feels the heat when the pair of them clash as insults fly, minds meet, and sultry looks steal their way across the room--for Vinny, it was lust at first sight, and being hated never stopped him from getting his way before. Then again, he's certainly never met anyone who can scorch quite like Angelina.
Typical alpha male Vinny doesn't think Angelina is up to the task of inheriting Papa's legacy, but when she proves herself in the kitchen he finds himself wanting to test her skills somewhere a little more... Intimate.
Is it wrong to want her, when they're both still mourning her husband's death?
Is it wrong to want him, when he's such an ass?
Everyone's got their problems in this Jorja Tabu contemporary romance, but fortunately, the solution is pretty simple: Love.
And also, of course, sex. Lots, and lots of sex.
Rivalries simmer like marinara in this steamy, sassy romance, full of whiplash banter, brutal comebacks, emotional confrontations with the past and delicious daydreams about the future... This is the ninth book in the How Do You Want It Series. Each novella is a stand-alone story, except for Harder and Hardest, which complete their own tale of love and have an extended novel coming out to complete the series later this year. These books explore every flavor of multicultural love, but if you're a fan of BWWM swirl / interracial romance, check out Deeper, Harder, and Louder, also available in an anthology of the same name, as well as Jorja Tabu's romantic suspense titles: Galaxy of Scars, and the Blue Mountain Dynasty Trilogy.
A mash-up, a remix, a tribute inspired by Ian Fleming's iconic character, James Bond, and the world of Jane Austen's Persuasion... Jorja Tabu gives you a modern AMBW romance like no other.
Ana Ellis is an FBI agent, but she's not the flashy kind--no fieldwork, no thank you. She leaves that to her loyal team of misfits, especially her good friend Maanya. As far as Ana is concerned, her brave days are behind her... Until a ghost from her past shows up at the Bureau: MI6's Winston Park-Wu, her high-school boyfriend, the once and always owner of her heart. Ana finds herself swept up in a bit of international intrigue, forced to make big discoveries about who she was, and big decisions about who she is willing to become. Betrayals and beloveds clash in the second installment of Jorja Tabu's Brits and Brats series.
Note for purists: This book is not a re-telling! It uses characters and circumstances from classics to tell a new tale. This book contains steamy HEAs like all JT books and assumes the reader is an adult; some grown folks themes do appear in this story, including PTSD and recovering from family trauma.
.Vinny and Angel were just perfect for each other. And her in-laws were really loving and understanding, especially Papa, her late husband's father. He was old and wise beyond his years and could see what Angel could not, that Vinny who was his nephew, loved her. Had been in love with from the first time he saw on on her wedding day. The day she day she married his son, Mario. A lovely, poignant and oh so sexy tale of love lost and love found.

While this author has been around for a while, this is the first book of hers that I've read. It is wonderful! The chemistry is clear and strong from the very beginning, and the roadblocks in Angelina's mind make a lot of sense. The plot moved nicely and was well-written. I'm definitely going to check her out for other books to add to my TBR pile.
This was a sexy sweet and fun story that was just enough not to be too overbearing.I loved the chemistry between the two main characters it was fun and you got a.sense that you were looking and visiting with two old friends.Just a really fun story and a good way to spend time.
This was a pretty fun read I liked both Angelina and Vinny and thought they had great chemistry this was a good easy read and I enjoyed getting to know these two. While it is part of a series it was the first one I had read I am looking forward to trying the rest of the series.
Cute story. Angelina was a bit annoying at times, not wanting to move on and understanding what the true meaning of family is but the story was good. Vinny loved her for a long time.
This is the first book I have read in this series and found it to be quite entertaining. The characters are great and the banter is fun. Will she let him into her heart?

Wow!!! Loved Vinny from the beginning. Too funny trying to pickup the bride. Angel and Dolly were a root together. Excellent story. Great job as usual.
