Natalie was dating Mark’s best friend Kevin when they first met. Four years later, Natalie is no longer dating Kevin and runs into Mark at her art show. Mark decides to get her some extra attention and tell them she is engaged to him. Sparks soon fly between them but others want to keep them apart, will they succeed? Fast-paced read with great chemistry and lots of drama. An entertaining read.

Tearing my hair out!
I have read this author before and I think her works are good but they always have a title and cover that suggests a fluffy romance and the book is so much better than the cover and title suggests, and so many of us judge books by the covers, even if it is not intentional.
So, apart from the cover and title..... this is definitely a book you can settle down with.
It has been a busy week so I have had to snatch time for reading but anytime I have picked this up, I am immediately drawn into the book. This story is simple and at the start, it is one that everyone can relate to which makes this easy to read. The main characters are people you want to like, but secondary characters lack depth, which takes away from the book.
The story reads as a nice romance, and then the author adds a small drama (which fizzled out), then a bigger drama, a gentle sprinkling of sex making this a simple but enjoyable read, easy to pick up, put down and then come back to.

A STORY TO MAKE YOU THINK
A book that made me feel connected to one of the characters as I was reading it. Whenever I can get involved in a book that way, it makes me feel as if I am experiencing the occurrences inside. Mark was extremely grateful to get a chance with the woman he fell in love with at first sight and held up the majority of his ‘BROS BEFORE ‘HOS’ motto. He only pursued Natalie after she broke up with Kevin. As for being the stand-up guy, Mark did his best, but didn’t deny what he felt.

It was Ok.
Nothing more than that.
What confused me the most is that when you read the blurb you are hoping for something in the story that doesn't happen until you're 95% into it.
The baby on the blurb? Is in the end.
I liked both characters, but the story didn't do it for me. For a moment we were into a best friend's ex, then we were into some kind of badass hunting bad people, then mouse-and-cat game and it looked like it wasn't determined what story tell.
It's more likely that I'll give it another chance in the future because the idea was good but it wasn't, in my opinion, well developed.
Nothing more than that.

Seriously.
I felt absolutely NO chemistry which made Mark and Natalie’s coupling the least bit believable. That ending was brilliantly flat and honestly with how Mark feels about marriage, they’re relationship won’t last past a year. No way a dude can just change his views in the blink of an eye. Natalie’s just grasping at straws in this case since she got knocked up. They’re just happy for now. Definitely not a HEA.
For that fact alone the whole story just fell apart at the seams.

Good start...
I don't remember how this ended up on my TBR but I wasn't what I expected. It started off good, but there was too much going on in the plot that didn't work for me. Parts of it just didn't make sense for me.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Mark and Natalie. Mark is best friends with Kevin and when he attends Kevin's birthday party, he meets Kevin's girlfriend Natalie. Mark is a computer genius and hates parties, but he goes to see Kevin. Mark is attracted to Natalie and is a little disappointed to learn she is Kevin's girlfriend. Four years later, Mark goes to an art gallery and it happens to be Natalie's first exhibit. Mark talks to Natalie and learns she and Kevin broke up. When some friends of Mark's show up, they are interested in the art, but don't want to buy because Natalie is not well known. Mark steps up and claims to be Natalie's fiance and his friends all suddenly are interested. Natalie plays along, but isn't very happy about it. Mark continues to tell people they are engaged and he wants to be with Natalie and makes her an offer for no strings attached sex. Natalie decides to take Mark up on the offer. Natalie is still hurting from the break up, but Mark proves to be a distraction she needs. When Natalie is asked by Kevin for another chance, she doesn't know what to do. Also a business rival of Mark's poses a danger and soon Mark vows to protect her. This book had a little bit of everything. I really enjoyed this story. I didn't really like Mark at the beginning, but he grew on me the more i read. I think he had issues from his past that made him unable to trust and i think Natalie made him face things. Natalie proved to be a lot stronger than she thought she was and i think she knew what she wanted in life. Another great one.

Mark Caine is a computer genius from California who has a best friend, who is a Dr, his name is Kevin,,, one night Mark comes over to Kevn's house for Kevin's birthday party and he looks all over for Kev and he stops and watches the beautiful woman juggling condiment bottles right before she loses them all,,,, he finds this is actually Natalie, who happens to be Kevin's girlfriend,,,, Mark leaves on the pretense of work,,,,, Mark ,,,, who is the owner of the fastest IT company in the world he is a corporate leader leader and the owner of a global company,,,, then 4 years later he walks into an art gallery to see the beautiful woman he's met before,,,, it's Natalie Dillon,,,,,, who finds Mark and talks to him,,,, she broke up with Kevin and is in Mark's friends art gallery where Nat has some of her work, but doesn't feel like she is being looked at, so the famous IT genius tells everyone that Nat is his fiance ,,,,, Natalie thinks this can't hurt anyone,,,, can it,,,,, ???,,,,, and is this really ethical to feel this way about his best friend's ex ,,,,, ???

Mark liked Natalie when he first met her the bad thing was she was dating his best friend Kevin. Now years later Natalie is having an art showing and Mark shows up he expects to see Kevin and is surprised to learn that they aren't together anymore. When it looks like some people are turn away from her work not because they don't like it but because she doesn't have connections Mark lies and tells them that she is his fiancé to help her out. Things seem to move pretty quickly between Mark and Natalie and they start having what feels like a real relationship. However someone wants Mark for herself and threatens Natalie away from him. When they show up at her parents place for a dinner she isn't too happy to see that they are still together. Will Camille come between them or will Kevin be the one to split them up? Can they see that they are meant to be together?
This is a great love story and will have you yelling at the stupid things the characters do before the end comes. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Ashlee Price has treated us to a story with all of it! We get unrequited love, suspense, drama, hot HOT sex, angst, and finally true love.
The first time Kevin sees Natalie is at his best friend's birthday party and it was love at first sight. But like all hard headed men, Kevin defines it as lust at first sight. Then Mark introduces Kevin to his girlfriend, Natalie, and Kevin must shove all his feelings, be it lust or love, on the back burner.

This story is about Mark and Natalie. The story begins with Natalie meeting Mark at her boyfriends, Kevin party, in which Kevin breaks her heart and leaves without looking back. Four years pass and they meet up again while Natalie is at a showing of her art, Mark states that she is his fiancé and it takes off from there where the benefits come into play. They are into each other, but there are several twists to this as Kevin comes back into the picture and there is a threatening warning from a jealous woman in Mark’s past that will do what ever it takes to get rid of Natalie. This story is more than just romance and second chances. There is action and of course a hero. I won’t give anything away, but trust that this is a great story.

This was a good, well written story. For whatever reason, I just never really felt the connection between Mark and Natalie until I was 80% into the book, during one particular intimate scene. That was the one scene that gave me goosebumps. The only other thing that bugged me was that Mark was supposed to be this billionaire genius, and somehow he’s shocked that after having unprotected sex (repeatedly), Natalie is pregnant. Really?!? And then has the nerve to ask if it’s his! What the.....just no! I understand why the author wrote it this way, but it definitely didn’t buy Marc any points.

Mark is drawn to his best friend's girlfriend, Natalie, when they first meet. Four years later he sees her again but she and Kevin have broken up. What happens from there is sweet at times, sometimes a bit harsh, there's some heat, some tense moments and touching moments. Kevin and Natalie's relationship definitely wasn't what was expected. I really liked Mark and felt he not only listened to Natalie but also tried to do what he could to help her. He was not a saint though. I thought Kevin was selfish although he did redeem himself in the end. Natalie was willing to stand up for both guys even if it put her life at risk. She had a lot of heart and deserved her HEA.

Mark is instantly attracted to Natalie when he sees her. Natalie is not available. The next time they meet he finds out that avoiding her all these years hasn’t made the attraction go away and now she is available. The story has a mix of steamy passion mixed with danger and intrigue. The characters are witty and charming. The story flows well and keeps you turning the pages to see what will happen next. Mark is a superb character who dominates throughout the book but gives Natalie the courage to shine and become her best person.

Mark shows up at Kevin, his best friend’s birthday party to see Natalie juggling the condiments, until their eyes meet and the condiments start falling to the ground. Best Friend’s Ex with Benefits by Ashlee Price was a really great story, there is friendships, a touch of danger and love. The characters were well developed and very intriguing. Mark shows up at his best friends house for his birthday party, when a girl who is juggling captures his attention, Natalie is dating Kevin and is rather surprised at her sudden attraction to his best friend. Best Friends Ex With Benefits by Ashlee Price is a contemporary romance. In this book, the main character Natalie starts off with one best friend Kevin but ends up becoming involved with Kevin’s best friend Mark. This book was fun, whimsical, with witty dialogue, and characters that were very realistically believable. It had just the right amount of romance with a wrap up including a dangerous situation that required a hero’s response. This is a wonderful read that any contemporary romance reader will love. Best Friends Ex With Benefits is a spicy romantic adventure.

Another fantastic story by Ashlee Price and I loved Natalie’s and Mark’s story it’s a best friends boyfriend fake fiancée story. Mark went to his best friends Kevin’s party there he meets Natalie who is Kevin’s girlfriend, there’s an instant attraction between the two of them but they can’t do anything about it. Years later Mark walks into a friend’s art gallery and there he bumps into Natalie the woman he never forgot. This is a fantastic story with plenty of twists and turns you won’t see coming, and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

I loved this story because it's just not a boy meets girl he gets his way. Love it

Mark liked Natalie from the moment he met her but she was dating his best friend. When they met again years later they started a friends with benefits arrangement.
I enjoyed reading this story it was a fun read and there was plenty of chemistry between Natalie and Mark. and some good twists and turns to keep you interested the whole way

When Natalie’s boyfriend breaks up with her she is down in the dumps but still has to go to an art show she is featured in alone. After four years Mark runs into his best friends girlfriend at an art show to find out that they broke up. As the two become closer they have to contend with outside forces so they can hold onto the one person who is slowly becoming their world.

I enjoyed this story of friendship, loyalty, drama, and romance. While Natalie is with Marks best friend Kevin he doesn't act on his attraction to her. When he meets her years later he discovers she is no longer with Kevin. The chemistry between Natalie and Mark is still strong and there is plenty of he decides to make his move. This is well written with plenty of drama and romance. I received this book as a gift and voluntarily give this review.

This is the story of Mark and Natalie, with another side character named Kevin. It's a great story. I just couldn't stop reading it. It's a wonderfully written book from a wonderfully established writer. There is a great plot. The characters go through trials and tribulations with twists and turns added in. I highly recommend this book.

Kevin and Mark are best friends. Natalie is Kevin's girlfriend. Fast forward, Natalie is a painter, who has an exhibit that does not exactly go as planned because she isn't a famous artist. But Mark who is now very successful shows up and saves the day...by spreading a little white lie.
