"Andre Duza is one of the most exciting new voices in horror fiction. His prose hits like a fist of razor blades. Get in line early, and enjoy the hell out of the ride." - Brian Keene, author of The Rising

When the cops were called to Harrington House Retirement Center, they had no idea of the madness that awaited them. The Coloureds were there. Creatures born from animated television who do not follow our rules of reality or morality. Hellbent on mischief and cruelty, the Coloureds have massacred those unlucky enough to encounter them. For the police now stuck in this nightmare, there may be no way out...

From one of the most creative and innovative authors in modern horror comes an insane story of technicolor terror, violence, and LSD.

This new edition features two bonus stories of bizarro horror, "Retrograde" and "Night of the Day of the Celebrated Folks."

DON'T F[BLEEP]K WITH THE COLOUREDS is a 3-star book with a 10-star cover. I'm not going to lie, 99% of the reason I purchased this book was for the cover alone. I had to have it. I don't know how that cover has not yet been banned. It's incredible. Behind the cover are three stories: the titular Don't F[BLEEP]k with the Coloured, Retrograde and Night of the Day of the Chosen Folks.

The book displays Duza's range of story telling. The opening salvo was a gonzo Who Framed Roger Rabbit type story. The meat in the story sandwich is Retrograde, my personal favorite of the collection and a twisted time loop tale. The final was a quick condemnation piece on the emptiness of Hollywood fame.

All in all, an enjoyable read. I gave it three stars only because I don't think a single one of these stories will 'stick to my ribs' over time. Still, the book contains three fun stories to read and there ain't nothing wrong with that. Buy it for the cover, keep it out on your coffee table and let it serve as a conversation piece of elegant dinner parties in your home, you high-falutin Hollywood A-List celebrity you!

I’m a compulsive kindle sample reader who ends up purchasing MAYBE 1 every 100 samples I read. This one got me to buy.

This book was actually 3 separate stories. The first, which the book is named after, was so damn good.
It was written so clearly, and so well; so brutally disturbing and weird that I just couldn’t help myself. Think Who Framed Roger Rabbit meets an R-rated Twilight Zone.

Don’t F[bleep]ck is a 5 start novella, and the other 2 are 4 stars for me. They felt less polished or else might have gone over my head. It’s worth a purchase based on the prose alone—very vivid and engaging.

The table of contents formatting was a little wacky too. Appearing at the end of the kindle version and linking the entire second story... weird. but a clearly talented writer who I will read again.

[SPOILER FREE] The title of this book made me pause, and as I got into the story, I was pleasantly surprised by the direction it took. It has the feel of a WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT but darker and more noir, and easily more adult. I can't recommend this one enough!
