This book is a natural for outreach. Unlike most of the books on my outreach shelf, I don't have to mark pages that I want to show classes, because the book is so well illustrated. There is something eye-catching on each spread, in an encyclopedia that covers the gamut of the animal world.

Love this book. Gorgeous visual representation of animals. Great descriptions of animal characteristics and how many are more alike or different than one may have thought. Great for children of all ages as those who are not able to read could enjoy the pictures.

My four year old grandson and I were captivated by the pictures and we read parts of it. There is a lot of information in this book that is too advanced for a 4 year old, but will be appreciated later. This is a book that can be appreciated by children of all ages!
