Called to Preach 11. All Things Are Spiritual 12. Inherit the Earth 13. The Things of a Better World 14. Glorious Eve. Published by Bookcraft, Salt Lake City.
This book really applied to me, as its subtitle is "Insights and Inspirations for LDS Women Over Fifty." It was organized in a way to maximize your learning. There are 14 chapters, each with a story of how to spend your mature years, especially as a member of the LDS church. There are chapters on writing your life history, journal keeping, and genealogy. There are chapters on serving a mission, temple work, beautifying the world around you, our physical health, and in increasing our knowledge of many subjects. It concludes with a chapter by the author, (Barbara B. Smith is co-editor with Shirley W. Thomas.) Barbara B. Smith on our mother Eve and the things we can learn from her experiences and role. This book gave me lots of new ideas and thoughts as well as confirming what I already knew to be of value in my life. I enjoyed reading each woman's story that was shared in this book.
