From painting pictures to singing songs, this colorfully illustrated lift-the-flap book captures the excitement of a young student's first day at school. Original.
Morgan's Review (7yo): I liked this book because I loved the little bunny rabbits. And her mother, and friends. They are going to school. Miss Daisy is the teacher. They have their own little cubbies. I liked Dominic, Lily, and Emily. They get to paint pictures for their Moms and Dads, sisters, and brothers. They played outside. They get to have lunch. They even get to read a book for story time. They have music time too.
Aunt Robbin's Review: We really enjoyed reading this book. Morgan seemed to really like that the cute bunnies went to school just like her. She loved finding out what they were doing at school. One of the best parts about this book is the "lift the flap". There was a surprise every time we turned the page. Since we are on a first grade reading level we have just started learning about compound words and she pointed them out to me as she recognized them. For example, every/one and some/thing. She thought that was pretty cool too.
