An admirable investigation into the campus cultures and player personalities of the fall of 1968. Excellent individual profiles! Surprising how few of the on-field leaders became post-university leaders. The retelling of the game play by play diminishes the realtime surprise. In the end, it was too many mistakes by the favorite and the officials, which usually correspond with upsets in all sports contests.
