About the author

Nikki is a runner, skydiver, artist, model, adventurer, and traumatic brain injury survivor from the Chicagoland area. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys painting, traveling, baseball, and spending time with her family and pets. More often than not, you can find her on the beach or near the water. She's wanted to be an author since second grade thanks to an incredible teacher who inspired her love of literature, and she discovered her talent for writing in seventh grade thanks to another wonderful teacher who saw that talent before she did. Nikki picked up a pen professionally with poetry in late 2017, and never put it down!
