The Tragedy of Erabios is a tragedy of a man who devotes his life to destroying madness only to find himself trapped in that same vein. The play follows the transformation of Erabios as he struggles to remove an oppressive, authoritarian leader for the sake of his people and town. The backdrop of his struggle is a world that is struggling itself to recover from a near-extinction event, the Great Fires, only to find itself being throttled by a monstrous tyrant. Erabios attempts to remove this hardly-human figure in a world that is much our future yet looks much like our past.
