the mystery was superb as always but why must the motive always be about revenge?!

The Magical Express is probably the last grand, epic murder mystery in The Kindaichi Case Files series. After this one all the later mysteries seem lacking in one way or the other. =__=

I have to admit it, I keep expecting to get one of the stories & have it stink. I mean, how can a series keep going & still be entertaining? Many long-running mangas all seem to have the same problem: after a point in time the storyline starts to sag & the characters become one dimensional. Not so for this series!
This particular volume surrounds a traveling troupe of magicians and a death threat. The actions starts on a train (hence the title) and then moves into a hotel as the troupe is no longer on said train. (Sorry for the lack of detail, but anything else would ruin the plot!)
Would I recommend this? Yup! Even if you haven't read any of the other volumes you can still pick up & enjoy any of the manga since each volume is a self-contained story (with the exception of one two parter).

dulu waktu kecil suka banget nontonin sulap di tv, sekarang sulap udah jarang ada, mungkin semenjak banyak yg ngebongkar trik, sulap jadi kurang menarik, meskipun bagi sebagian orang pertunjukan sulap tetap menyenangkan.
Hajime dikasus ini seperti biasa dapat undangan diajakin Kenmochi, trus ada Akechi nya juga, paling seneng kalo ada Akechi soalnya Hajime jadi suka diledekin wqwqwqwqwq.

Aku sih pas baca ini sebenernya tau pelakunya si Takato gegara dulu pas pertama masuk fandom tuh aku liatnya series yang R. Makanya namanya agak familiar. Cuma aku gak tau aja cara eksekusinya gimana.
Btw yang pas awal ada bunga mawar di gerbong itu agak lebay sih haha. Gimana ya jelasinnya? gak bisa nerobos karena kehalangan duri mawar. Padahal jajal aja kalau emang emergency. Tapi ya mungkin emang udh dirancang kek gitu sejak awal.
Baca ini karena aku ngesimp sama Akechi Kengo //slaaap
Yang chapter ini aku nonton animenya dan jujur aja lebih suka manganya. Kalo di animenya agak rush terus bikin aku gak paham sama beberapa hal karena di "rush" kayak begini. Di manganya lebih bisa dijelasin secara rinci.
Pas baca ini tuh bikin aku mikir kalau karakter Takato ini kayak sulit banget disentuh dan sialannya doi ini panjang umur banget mana gak ada yg sadar kalo dia itu "sus" mentang2 dandanannya culun kek gitu, kurus, kuyu, kayak kurang gizi, penakut. Hadeeeh kebiasaan emang liat tampang doang. Padahal dia itu mastermind. Oh iya scene yang bapak bapak bawa boneka Chikamiya Reiko itu agak disturbing sih. Kek dia ngapain bawa boneka itu kemana-mana lagi, "paaaak ngapain paaaaak ya Allah paaaaak."
Pas scene terakhir yang Akechi ketemu lagi Kindaichi dia bilang kan kalo perasaan dia gak enak jadi dia pengen nonton walo Kenmochi jelek jelekin sambil protes.
Di ending tsb Akechi keliatan kayak takut soalnya nampilin wajah sedih gitu. Dan bener aja tuh pesulap kepanggang sambil jerit-jerit. Agak psiko juga ya Chikamiya Reiko bunuh orang kek gitu.
Aku suka ini karena panel Akechi BANYAK. Walo sebenernya bisa aja sih aku baca series terpisah Akechi tapi kalo gak ada Kindaichi tuh rasanya aneh. (Sebenernya aku gak suka karena rambutnya)

犯著《金田一少年之殺人》的毛病，本應有的懸疑感被熱鬧的氛圍消磨殆盡，而且中二病更加深了。

Subtitled: Kindaichi and Akechi's Pissing Contest: Part 3, only not really because the criminal is so brilliant that they have to work together to trap him.
This was definitely my favorite of the series; it's a shame Tokyopop cancelled it, and then went out of business, because the criminal in this one was set up to be a recurring character and now we'll never get that. Alas.

Nhân duyên đã đưa đến một cuộc gặp gỡ không ngờ của hai mẹ con nhưng dĩ nhiên họ không biết điều đó cho đến sau này. Và cũng nhờ nhân duyên mà một bí mật không còn là bí mật, nhờ đó mà hận thù biến một tài năng thành một kẻ máu lạnh. Dường như tập 15 là một lời hẹn gặp lại trong một cuộc tranh tài khác của hung thủ và Kin, hai con người có sứ mạng đối lập nhau.

その後いくたびも出現する地獄の傀儡師の初登場作品。放課後の魔術師も怖いけれど、この中に出てきたマリオネット人形も不気味さでは負けていない。地獄の傀儡師が本性を現す前後での豹変ぶりにはしっくりこない気持ちも残ったけれど、全体的に良くできているファイル。

Paling suka kalo mereka bertiga muncul sekaligus. Ngeri2 sedap. Di sini kocak banget krna kindaichi dikerjain abis ama akechi 😅
