Oh no! Mary-Kate and Ashley have to do history projects. But Ashley's found a way to make her project fun--she's partners with Pokey Valentine, the boy of her dreams! It's the perfect way to get close to him.
The only problem is, Pokey would rather get close to someone else...someone named Mary-Kate!

If you pick this book up you will not be sorry. If you like books about girls then you should buy this book. I think this book is great. The authors are Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. This book is about two twin girls named Mary-Kate and Ashley. Mary-Kate likes this boy but her sister, Ashley is doing a science project with him. Mary-Kate is working with a nerd for the science project. Since they look alike they decide to switch so that Mary-Kate can work with the boy she likes. That is when everything starts getting crazy! My favorite character is Ashley because she's so nice to her sister. She does not care who she gets as a science partner. I give this book 5 out of 5 stars. I love this book and I think you will too!
(LL) This book does a decent job dealing with a love triangle type of situation for the target age group (8-12). As an aside: Carrie being their baby-sitter as well as their father being her professor isn’t realistic at all. She is always around even when their father (Kevin) is home, which defeats the purpose of her being there. Moreover, Rick, the potent love interest for Carrie, shows up at the girls’ house to pick up Carrie (who is at someone else’s house) for no other reason than a dramatic moment and it was rather annoying.
Ashley likes this boy named Pikey. They are doing a Solshole Studies project and MK got paired with him. Ashley convinces MK to switch partners so she can be with Pokey. They worked on a project and MK walked in with two boys that she is friends with and Ascendant ley makes a date with Pokey. MK asked if anyone else would be there and he said no and he did not want anyone else to know about it. So MK thanks to herself that she has to tell Ashley that he asked her out. When MK told Ashley she did not believe her she said that MK was jellies and that it would never happen. MK told her to ask her friends that were there then Ashley got upset. Then they made a plan to make him thankful that he has two girls then yank it at him that she knows and everything. When they did it he denied asking MK on a date. Pokey said that he needed help with basketball and that was it. He said that he likes Ashley then Ashley said she liked him too. That night they talked on the phone all night till the girl's dad got home and went to their room and told them to brush their teeth and get to bed. They said there good nights.

Inspired by some Mary-Kate and Ashley documentaries I’ve watched over the summer, I thought I’d amuse my inner child by reading a book I faintly remember owning.
‘One Twin Too Many’ is most entirely a children’s/early teen book that focuses on romance. I didn’t recall the storyline at all, but when I reread it, I found it lacking humour and any bite to it. Choosing to begin a series four books in, however, did not deprive me of any relevant information prior, so that’s something positive to note.
The main plot with Mary-Kate and Ashley in this book was ridiculous. The plot with Carrie and Kevin brought up some good points though. I like how these books managed to mix serious stuff alongside the over-the-top silly stuff.
An easy, sweet read. Ashley has a crush on a boy but Mary-Kate is convinced he has asked her on a date instead. Feeling guilty, she has to tell Ashley the bad news.
Really enjoying these books, was nice to meet Eddie. And my favorite thing was when Carrie said his chin. Made me laugh at how simple something can be.
The story is about two girls who go to school and now they have a history project. But the teachers decide with whom they are doing the project together . Ashley is from beginning very sad and not happy at all. Later on, she decides she is doing it differently. Cuz she falls in love in “Pokey Valentine” and she wants him. Marykate is fine with it. But what happens next – you have to read the book.
I love the cover of the book. Its not glitter and pink. Its natural and normal thats why I like it. They dont fake their bodies and eyes and stuff like that. The story is very sweat and nice written. You can understand it. Its a short story at about 90 pages with color pictures from the TV series. I havent seen the Series on TV, so I can imagine it pretty well.
Even though the story is very easy to understand and very easy written, its still a very funny story at all. You can read this book in one day.
