Lawd, Haiti and Wolfe frustrated me. Almost from the beginning, they were nothing but drama, drama, drama. But, as much as they frustrated me, I absolutely loved this couple. Every woman deserves a Wolfe Netherland in her life at least once in their lifetime. He knew who he wanted and he wasn’t afraid to stand ten toes down to get her. But, Wolfe also refused to play second to Haiti’s trash azz boyfriend and he had zero problems letting her know she had him all the way effed up. Haiti had a pull on Wolfe that had him actin’ all kinds of out of character but, the heart wants what the heart wants and Wolfe’s heart wanted him some Haiti. This couple definitely go through a few ups and downs (okay maybe more than a few) but, the end result was more than worth it. And, poor Shawn. He phucked around and found out the hard way. Just Wanna Mean The Most To You was a short, sweet, and spicy read. Grey Huffington did the damn thing with this one.
Wolfe!!!!!! Come let me howl at that crescent 🌙 moon 😌🤭!! The BDE was acti-fkn-vated ok!!! Haiti and Wolfe were the definition of “the neighbors know my nameeeee!!! I’m saying!!! Let me go knock on the nîgga door across the hall from me and see wassupppp!!!
Haiti was at her whits end after it’s revealed that her fk boy she’s been with is sleeping with his “best friend” 😒😒 yeah he’s one of those! She’s trying to figure out if she should grieve the betrayal or if it’s cause for a celebration. Just when she feels like things are all bad Oh BUT GOD!! The good doctor, a cardiologist to be specific lives next door and he is ready to pump life and love back into her heart. Wolfe was apprehensive and for justified reasons but the pull Haiti had on him didn’t allow him to exist in a world without her! I loved these two so dâmn much and my heart is full after indulging in their story! ❤️
I love that Grey's signature BIG love was loud and present.
Wolfe and Haiti were forbidden. She was taken and in a messy situation and he had so much to lose. Yet the heart wants what the heart wants. Wolfe had it bad, before Haiti even knew who he was he was aware of her presence. Something drew him to her, but he had carefully been able to avoid the drama. Until fate brought them together. As controlled he had been all of his life to pursue his profession, all of that discipline went out the door for Haiti. He was a mess to me, I know the bookies are saying everyone needs a Wolfe...well not me. He was a little too wishy washy for my taste. I want you to stand on your feelings about me...right, wrong, or indifferent 🤷🏾♀️ To me the back and forth and being conflicted was not attractive. I needed all of that BDE he had in the bedroom to be activated outside of it. I'm glad the drama forced Haiti to stand on her own though, because nobody should ever have that type of power over you. That said when Wolfe allowed himself to love on her it was sweet, intentional, and Chile overwhelming in the bedroom.
The drama was loud, tragedy occurred, but I'm glad it all worked out in the end. The love was clear, it was felt, and so was the passion. The way he had Haiti tongue tied and she had Wolfe out of his mind I just wanted them to win. Yes it was messy, but honestly who needs a perfect love story any way?
This author never disappoints!! So many themes covered from toxic relationships to finding true love I’m here for it. Wolfe and Haiti were really strong characters. Highly recommended
I love this book. Haiti and Wolfe were dreamy together. Wolfe was a definite upgrade from Haiti’s previous relationship. Looking forward the next book by this author.
I loved this. Wolf Netherland had me on an emotional rollercoaster. I knew he had strong feeling for Haiti be he just couldn't stick with it when things didn't go the way he planned SMH. Wolf was ok and all but he was just to up and down for me. His good looks and profession were great but he needed consistency in my book.
Usually I don’t even entertain a book that doesn’t contain a synopsis. How am I supposed to know what it’s about? I skimmed through some of the reviews and gave this a try. Man, was I not disappointed. This was a dope read, Wolfe was a man, upfront about what he wanted and needed in a partner. And when he pushed away and realized his mistake, he came back and did it right. This type of read gives me hope. There has to be some type of man out there like Wolfe. 5 stars hands down!
What’s a grey Huffington story without an unplanned pregnancy that brings the couple back together?. I have been reading a lot her books one after the other. Ain’t gonna lie this story was redundant of the others. If you haven’t read any of her books, then this would have been top tier. The story was just boring and the characters were annoying, too much drama and conflicts that are not properly resolved . Literally the spicy parts were boring and I have never experienced that with her books. It had its cute moments but this was a skip. 2.9
Ugggghhhh I was so into Wolfe and Haiti, I needed more😫. I really loved this fast paced love story but I do feel like I got cheated out of some of the story by that ending. I was cheering for them from their first encounter. When they finally get it right, it ended😫. I still thought it was a cute and food read though. 3.5 Let me go find something else by Grey because I do like how she writes
I think every woman deserves a man like Wolfe in their life
First of all, I love their names. It's crazy because Wolfe was an alpha male who beat to his own drum. He was successful and clearly needed someone to share his time with out side of his friends and his job. He and Haiti come into each other's lives unexpectedly but clearly right on time in a sense. The bad part about it is Shawn. Men like him irk my soul. You want to have your cake and eat it too and expect someone to be ok with that. I was rooting for Haiti and she didnt even realize how God was waiting on her to leave that toxic situation in order for Him to bless her with all He had ready for her on.the other side of that relationship. I was a bit upset with Wolfe when he did her that way at the hospital but that time away was needed. It made me realize how important closure and getting back to who you are can be when you've left a relationship. And those erotic scenes, especially in the parking garage, even though it was short, could get anyone hot and bothered lol. I loved every part of this story!!
Okayy, I was too excited to read about Haiti. I first met her in the Emotionally Impaired series with Tsunami & York. & I loved her in that book. She was deff a fun time type of girl who also held her friend responsible from running away from a good thing when she needed it most. I hated that she was caught up with a worthless ass negro like Shawn, but in true Huffington fashion, a real one is always close. Wolfe introduction to Haiti was comical af to me. Like not you spying on the loud ass neighbors 😂😂 I respected Wolfe trying to stay away from Haiti because I would have done the exact same thing. She had too much going on & she needed to get her foot completely out the door before stepping into another one. In true GH fashion tho, Wolfe had staked his claim & he ain't gaf because once everything was said & done that was his woman.
Outside of the Eisenbergs & the Dominos, I think Haiti & Wolfe are my fave GH story. & I wouldn't mind a catch up on the three 🥰
Dr. Wolfe Netherland was infatuated with his neighbor, Haiti Crusade. Through the paper thin walls of their apartments, he was well aware of her situation, of her living arrangements, of her unfathful man. And yet, he wanted her still. Haiti Crusade was fed up with her boyfriend Shawn. She now knew he was lying about his relationship with his so called "best friend" and that they had probably been lovers for years. She told him either he was leaving or she was. She'd had enough! Shawn reluctantly agreed and vacated the premises. A short time later, Haiti heard a knock. Exasperated, she answered... and a Wolfe was standing at her door.
Listen when i tell you Grey Huffington doesn’t disappoint, believe it. Haiti is semblance of many young girls right now stuck in familiarity wishing for a Wolfe. Wolfe is the embodiment of black masculinity. He’s educated, sexy, confident and hooked on what he wants, Haiti. This story is an emotional rollercoaster ride but is so worth the ride. Gone on and download and read it, you won’t be disappointed.
Anytime that I start read a Grey Huffington’s story, I know that I am in for a romantic ride with a fabulous male character. And this read was no exception. The chemistry between Haiti and Wolfe was evident from the very beginning and I enjoyed reading how they always came back together after their little breakups. Wolfe showed Haiti how a true man loved a woman. Great read.
What kind of love is this. Wow the attraction the need was palpable for me through the words of the author. Their energy so drawn to one another even while separated. My fav was when she spoke of laying in the floor in her apartment to be sleeping close to him and to connect to his movements.
This was my first read of this author, needless to say I will be reading more. This was an enjoyable one day read.
A little intense but very interesting. Timing is everything -- you can be in the right place at the wrong time, or you can be in the wrong place at the right time; either way can be a good or bad thing depending on the circumstances. Wolfe and Haiti's meeting and getting together was just as intense. I enjoyed the book and it didn't come across as a sappy story to me.
I have to agree with the other readers every woman deserves a man like Wolfe. He and Haiti had one elaborate ride to becoming one but they made it.
I love how Haiti took what little she had and made half a million dollars from it within the first few hours. She really made lemonade out of lemons. She was determined to take care of herself.
Great read and a first for me from this author. I would definitely recommend it.
Damn, this novella had me wanting my own Wolfe... as a successful man with goals. Wolfe knew what he wanted, what he could give a woman. We love that. What Wolfe wanted was Haiti!!!
He supported her he uplifted her he pushed her to be HER again he made her feel special and desired
BUT....the third act break up I wanted to punch him and quite frankly I wouldn't have taken him back because why u being stupid for no reason.... boy bye
Great read and i like how you spun that story with Shawn crazy cheating ass. He made his bed and had to lie in it. Wolfe on the other hand was very lucky to even be back with her if it was me baby or not. He pushed her away to much and it was his fault both times but i guess three times a charm with Haiti. Great story that wish was a series.
Haiti and Wolfe’s story was a wonderful read! I am always amazed at this authors level of putting together these love stories. No two are the same! Soulmates are what they are in-spite of the obstacles that stood in the way. I’m glad Wolfe came to his senses with the help of O and Iris! Great story and highly recommended!
I like how Wolfe and Haiti had this attraction even though she was in a relationship with Shawn and they hadn't formally met. I hate that Shawn allowed his temper to be his down fall but he caused all the events to happen with his bad decision making. I'm glad that Haiti forgot to clean up Wolfe's spill and they have a bundle of joy on the way.
I enjoyed reading this book so much! I couldn't put my kindle down!! I enjoyed reading Haiti and Wolfe journey to love! I enjoyed the storyline and the chemistry between them! This book was so emotional! This was my first time reading a book by this author and it won't be my last! Fantastic Book!
WOW!!!! Awesome story! Great development of the relationship....I usually get frustrated with the resistance to love, this time I felt the reason why! Wolfe is all of it!!!! Whew chile!!!!! Im so proud of Haiti!!!!! Great love story full of passion and drama.short and complete story.
I found Grey by chance and started reading finished about 3 of his books before finding this nonsense. He was easily becoming my favorite. But this book sucks all this unnecessary drama and high school style nonsense I couldn't finish. The writing itself is good I'll still read his other books but this storyline is for kids not grown ppl who know what they want
I really really like Grey’s books! This one was good; definitely steamy at times, which I love. There was some stuff going on that had me like damnnnnn! But I was a little annoyed by all of the inner dialogue... it was a lot! I just wanted them to get outta their own heads and communicate. But all in all, another good story by Grey Huffington.
Awesome thanks for your books keeping me and your characters jumping into my mind and my world your books all have a marvelous touch of love in them and they welcome you to that love it’s beautiful and amazing to see to read to feel thank you for sharing
This author has dominated her craft in designing short stories thar are powerful as well as poetic. The storyline is engaging and the character development is thorough leaving me as a reader satisfied once I reached the end of the story. This author owes me nothing after crafting another dynamic read. Off to read more from this author's catalog.
Now Wolfe….chiiile, while I understand your point..you stressed me a bit. Also, Grey has a way of disrupting my calm with an unexpected dip in my emotions with her way of pulling on my heart so suddenly. Ma’am! But this is a very good, short read. Alls well that ends well. I’m happy for my girl, Hai.
I always love the author’s ability to give us the Prince Charming we didn’t know existed. Her stories are always different in a good way. Loved that this was longer than the previous works. Hope we get a full length novel next. Great read!
