Easy, right?
Put on your faery feathers. Year Two is going to be a wild ride.
I had been so excited to be able to read Vienna and Tavis final book and it was absolutely worth it. In this book they are still trying go figure out who the true enemy is and deal with all the threats that come their way. Along with their feelings for each other. This book is everything. It went beyond what I thought it would be and so much more. Could not put down once I started it.
I loved this series from start to finish - and the final book of the trilogy did not disappoint! Lots of twist and turns, and a great HEA for Vienna and Tavi.
Great series. Really, really loved this series. Good humor, snark, sadness, fights, friends, and family. Such a great series to relax and escape to a new world.💞
The breathtaking conclusion of this exciting series was a stay up all night page-turner!
So many of the things that I thought might happen didn't. So many that I never expected to happen did. So many of the villains had... unexpected... ends. The author did a great job of keeping me guessing all the way. There were a few points with the gods & Vienna's chosen one role that I found a little vague or unclear, but the main of the story was heartachingly & satisfyingly good!
A very entertaining series that I know I'll be reading again!
*Clean romance level: passionate kisses, same sex kisses between secondary characters, & the protagonists finally consummate their relationship but nothing more graphic than desire for each other & getting undressed before fade out (with appreciation for the author stopping before the level of peeping tom porn)
*Language: unfortunately, a bit more than in the previous books & about 4 dozen off-putting f-bombs
*Religion: the story imagines a polytheistic world with natural magic, so (refreshingly) in keeping consistent with that, the characters use "gods" rather than the Lord's Name (though "gods damn" still sounds too uncomfortably close)
Wow what a book this was! I tried to drag this book out knowing it's the last but I literally couldn't put it down! I absolutely loved the gods concept and the changes that Vienna went through. The plot grows to epic proportions and there was action galore. Everything comes together, giving us a feeling of satisfaction once the story ends. There's lots of romance and secrets and I loved that the author keeps you on your toes wondering what will happen. Vienna and Tavi are so cute together and I would love to read more about them... Maybe a spin off series? I'm sad to see this adventure end but I loved the joy it gave me reading the series. It's a fantastic artistic story with its unique plot, characters and world. Would highly recommend to everyone! And that epilogue was fantastic... But I still want more! Amazing read from start to finish!
This was absolutely the money at addictive series I've read in awhile. I cried when characters died and laughed when they were happy! Don't skip these books bc each one is better than the next!
Left me wanting more… (Warning! Review contains Spoilers!!!!)
I was pleasantly surprised to find this series. I’ve been struggling to find a good fantasy book series for a while and decided to give this series a shot, and I’m so glad I did! I love all the characters (especially a certain sky god…), the captivating storyline, and the slow-burning romance between the two main characters. Even the transitioning between the perspectives between Tavi and Vi was well-done and flawless! The two issues I had with this book was; One: (SPOILER ALERT!!!) My favorite Russian side-character dies. Two: The ending wasn’t nearly long enough or as revealing as I would’ve preferred. I wish their was another book or that the author created another series for this one to live on in, that was we could get more of an idea where Tavi and Vi end up as well as many of the side-characters. But regardless, it was still an amazing read. I’ll definitely be checking out the author’s other books if she has any!!!
Wow 😱 all of her series are addictive reading...with strong and sassy leading mage and faerie and friends that everyone would want!! They are eye catching, funny 😂, romantic ❤️❤️🔥, action, adventures, mystery, and enemies sometimes closer than you think
This series were impossible to put down loved 🥰 it so much .
I would definitely recommend this series and this spectacular author did a superb job…. Pick this up for yourself, you will not be disappointed . 💖❤️🔥💜 It’s definitely recommended for any age, clean, no sexual activity….
I started reading this series from the end 😂. I just wanted some spoilers to know if it was worth starting the series. I did skip a fair bit of things; it was still for spoilers (at least at the start), but it turned into this🥲. However, I still enjoyed the read quite a bit.
I'll probably change the rating once I read it fully when I get to it the right way.
