I expected to like Who Do You Love more more than I did but, I just couldn't get past my dislike for Rumor. I detest female characters who are clueless when their male friend has romantic feelings for them. Rumor wasn't necessarily clueless. She just refused to acknowledge Mars' feelings for her. Even after he flat out told her he was in love with her, she still chose f*ckboy BX over Mars. Rumor really pissed me off. I get that she was worried about the dynamics of their relationship changing once romantic feelings were involved but, listen, the heart wants what the heart wants. It finally took Mars cutting her off and a tough love conversation from Zara before her common sense kicked in and she realized she was about to lose her blessing behind a man who was so not worth it. BX, his sister, and his PR Rep were trash just like Mars told her. Even though I wasn't feeling Rumor, by the end of the book, I was rooting for her and Mars. More so him than her. I’m just glad she finally got some act right and chose wisely.

I just re-read the book because I didn't read the about page. But still a great well written stories. Funny how you can ignore the love that's right in your face because you are use to it being there.

A nice story

I was not expecting this story; in fact, the story was well done all around. I'm sure we'll see them again in another story.

I absolutely loved this book. The feelings it evoked from me had my head spinning but there are few authors that can pull that out of me! I’m finding that Genesis Woods has now added herself to that list. I really liked all the characters in this book even the petty and messy ones, the characters in this book were so well written that I fell in love with them, but Rumor is my girl! She made some questionable decisions but redeemed herself in the end.

Bronx… you ain’t ish!!! I hate to drop spoilers, so I’ll just say from the beginning I wasn’t feeling this situation. The way Rumor and Bronx connected was purely physical, sexy but physical. Their situation in my eyes felt fake while others sat on the side lines being forced to watch the train wreck.

Yesssssssssssssss Mars!!!! If it’s not obvious who I’m all for it’s definitely mars lol! That young man just had the “it” factor while being completely and head over heels in love with Rumor. Ms. Woods knew what she was doing with the progression of this book, we got to see every angle in this storyline play out and I felt a part of it all.

Poor Rumor was so lost while still losing out by making ridiculous decisions. I found myself shaking my head a lot while reading this book. To Ms. Genesis Woods I need more from these characters because girl the fire you left on these pages!!! This writing had me feeling every blow the characters took while also clapping when some deserving characters felt theirs.

If you love entaglements, deceit, petty exes, and love without limits I strongly suggest you read this book!

BBW love....

Ms. Woods I love how you showered the love for a BBW. It is always a pleasure of mine to read about them and how they are winning in the love department. It seems more authors are including them but I personally still do not think enough is. This was a great read, and I cannot figure out why more people have not read and reviewed.

BX tried to be a smooth player but once the ish hit the fan with the help of Ms. Piper it all came to the surface. I was glad that it did, Rumor deserved a real man that truly loved her for her. Mars was that guy and he supported her in all of her dreams and goals. She proved the dance world wrong, plus size women can dance and choreography just like anybody else.

This is a fantastic read and yes I most definitely recommend it.

MARS AND RUMOR❤

I loved this story and the fact that the author chose to make the main character a plus size woman was great. I haven't come across too many books whose characters are bbw. Although she wasn't always embraced because of her size, I loved that Rumor carried herself with confidence but she also became annoying in some parts of the book. Sometimes the person you are the closest to and have feelings for is who you are meant to be with. BX was not the one for Rumor and I feel she was using him as an escape from her true feeling for Mars. Reality sets in for Rumor and I'm glad she stopped fighting and gave Mars the chance he deserved. Overall great story.

Friends to Lovers💖💖

I enjoyed reading about Mars and Rumor's friends to lovers journey. Sometimes we miss what's right in front of us searching for something that we already have and that's what made Rumor temporarily hook up with Bronx. Bronx really had me fooled until he started moving differently. I'm glad that Mars was there when Rumor needed him the most. It's good that Rumor acted on what was already in her heart and gave a relationship with Mars a try and now she is truly happy with the man who really loves and supports her.

Thought he was the one

From the second I read Mars' reaction to BX in the studio with Rumor, I knew how he felt. BX had me fooled. Rumor was so sacred to loose her friend because of a change in their relationship, I understood her dilemma. The chemistry between Rumor and Bronx was real. I definitely felt like he really cared about her. I liked the fact that Rumor wasn't afraid to follow her dreams no matter how people felt about her physical appearance.

Need me a Mars

This book was so good but rumor frustrated me so much. I'm glad she finally came to her senses and didn't lose out on a good man. The drama with Bronx did kinda surprise me though. I loved that the main character was a bbw who was confident in who she was because often times movies and society have you thinking all bogs insecure and we're not. First read from this author, definitely interested in more of her works.

Okaaaaaay!

This is my first time reading a book from this author, and I really enjoyed this book. Just when I thought I knew what was going to happen, I was floored. Chiiiile, the journey this book took me through. I’m not going to lie, I wasn’t feeling Rumor in the beginning (and she definitely made me mad in the middle), but I quickly became invested in her story. I was rooting for her (and Mars😍) and I’m so glad that everything worked out. I can’t wait to read another book!

Perfect ending!

Great story of friends becoming lovers. It’s typical to overlook the things that are in your face all along. Rumor finally realized that she was in love with Mars after being bamboozled by Bronx. She’s just lucky that he was still available in the end. Rumor and Mars were definitely meant for each other.

She knew who it was all along!

Rumor and Mars....I loved their names by the way and this cover was EVERYTHING. FINALLY Rumor opened her eyes and accepted Mars for the man he really wanted to be to her. Yes it was a lesson hard learned for both of them but one well deserved cause look where they ended. I just LOVED it.

Short & Sweet

This was cute. I enjoyed the characters and it was well written. I wish Rumor would have laid hands on ole girl and BX's sister; but success and happiness is the best revenge.

Good

I liked the storyline. I didn’t enjoy the use of the N word constantly. We should of had more of Mars point of view. There was not enough of Mars and Rue. Bronx had me fooled. I will read something else by this author.

Beautiful ending...

It's funny how life can be when we miss what's right in front of us all along. Rumor and Mars shared something deep and irreplaceable. Although he realized it from the very beginning it took her a little longer.

Oooh weee!

Love, love, love Mars was everything and this book served up all kinds of sauce. I loved that you decided to develop these characters. As a Beard Gang fan I think if I had to wait and see if Mars got his girl would've sent me into withdrawal. I'm already anxious for Part 4.

Love was always there

I love this and it was great seeing a BBW with a passion for dancing. Mars was a true friend and who she needed in her corner! Bronx was something else is all I'm hoping to say.
