This dusty old tome has been on my shelf for literal years - 2 decades I think. My only regret is not reading it sooner. It has been an utter delight to read, succinctly capturing the essence of Siamese communication and behaviour, and I miss my little Siamese cross who passed in 2020 all the more. The cat-ness within is absolute perfection, whether it's disdain for cat-haters, love of fish, or the silent, perfect way they socially arrange themselves around each other with an ease humans envy. Hilarious, shocking, and satisfying, this book is a deep pleasure of comfort reading. If you love cats, and enjoy mysteries, this is one to read!
