My reputation was fierce, a force not to be reckoned with. To my competitors, I was a ruthless, coldhearted man whose devotion only ever centered around his empire. Then she unmasked me by forcing a bar into the cogs that would have seen me spiraling out of control. When Isabelle Brahn fell at my feet, I knew in an instant my life would never be the same. With an ability to see through the shield others couldn’t, she taught me that my greatest accomplishments weren’t measured by my power or wealth, but by the man beneath the enigmatic mask. But with change comes challenges. I fought to get where I am— I fought for her —so when secrets and betrayals threaten the very things I want the most, you can be assured I’ll fight to the death to keep them. The Wedding is the final installment between the tumultuous relationship of Isaac Holt and Isabelle Brahn. It’s a story about unifying as one through rawness, honesty, and hot, kindle melting scenes that will unravel more than the enigma you’ve grown to know and love. It is not intended to be read as a standalone.

I love writing and reading. They are both my passion. My genre is generally set to new adult and contemporary, with a few twists thrown in.
Of there is anyone out there that hasn't read this series or Nikolai then they need to do that ASAP. I'm always in awe of how this author keeps her timelines straight yet still manages to interlace them through each story all while giving each character their own amazing story.
I've been on this journey since the first book. These characters are important. They own part of my soul. Getting this book was such a treat. Suspense, insane chemistry, love, mystery, and one of the most amazing storylines that I have ever read makes this series both riveting and an all-time favorite. The series never gets stale or stagnant as one would think with this many books. If anything, it just gets better and better.
Never too much Isaac and Izzy. they now enter the wedding stage. And just like all things Izzy and isaac, there are twists and surprises. some things are closed other things are opened ended. Isaac in all his possessive, jealous tendencies is a perfect match for Izzy. He has proven that he will go above and beyond for Izzy and now Callie.. You probably didn't think that Isaac and Izzy's relationship could get any stronger but there is even more growth and closeness by the end of this book. I love the way they love each other.

A bittersweet and happily ever after not to be missed
Enigma: The Wedding follows on straight after Enigma: The Final Chapter
We see Isabelle adapting to her new role as rookie detective for Ravenshoe PD, her devotion to Isaac stronger than ever, together they build a life for their daughter Callie, Isabelle’s sister, but it isn’t without its trials and tribulations.
We see some of our favourite characters return, to celebrate the Wedding of Hugo and Ava, but also the wedding of Isaac and Isabelle.
Isabelle’s brother Enrique resurfaces, as does Isabelle’s former FBI counterpart’s setting everyone on edge, tempers flare and emotions are running high, Isaac’s need to control every aspect of Isabelle’s life has them coming to blows more than once, only for them to find common ground once again.
The one thing Isaac dislikes is surprises, and Isabelle manages to pull them off flawlessly with the help of a few friends, one that sees them married at the county’s clerk office, Isaac more than pleased that Isabelle is finally his in name.
When truths are spoken, secrets exposed, and betrayals come to light, in these pivotal moments family is who you turn to.
This story is told from multiple POV, it will take you on a wild ride, having you turn page after page. This book had me from beginning to end, it told a telling story, this author definitely knows how to write.
Head to the authors website as this book has triggers so may not be for you. This book has it all passion, romance, roller coaster of emotions, drama, action, mystery, friendship, family, acceptance, jealousy, madness, mayhem, betrayal, intrigue, revenge, vengeance, violence, adrenaline seeking suspense, twists, turns, truths.
Reading this story, it enables the readers to really connect with the characters, and as the story unfolds the readers see the development and growth from the characters singularly and together.
And those s*x scenes including those BDSM elements were steamy, yet sensual, dirty, forbidden, taboo, intense, physical, provocative, it had all the angry angst, hate, pleasure and passion one would except, when you have a submissive girl at your mercy that you intend to please every single day.
Isaac aims to give Isabelle both pleasure and pain, his possessive and obsessive need for control and dominance, it was off the charts and had all of the feels.
Isabelle’s relationship with Isaac has grown in strength, their trust in each other unyielding, but they work together in there own way, because nothing and no one will get between Isabelle and her alpha dominating, controlling, yet overly possessive husband. She loves him and he loves her, regardless of all their differences, because they are in this together, their happily ever after bittersweet, with Nolan joining there growing family, finally both getting the happiness they deserve.
WOOOHOOOOOOOO YIPPPPPEEEEEEEE First of all, This is the fifth book in the series so please make sure to read the books in order because you will be totally lost about some of the things that happen in this book as we get some answers to questions about what happened to people from other books. The twists and turns once again get your blood pumping and you will be on the edge of your seat!!! lol I dont want to give anything away and spoil it for you. I find it really hard to review books in a series because I just want to scream and shout about how good this book is but dont want to ruin it for you. This is just an amazing book, I have missed Isaac and Izzy . I know we have had little bits of them in other books but its not the same. This series has been one of my favourites. But if I'm honest I a massive fan of Shandi Boyes, Her books have the amazing ability to drag us in and feel like we know the characters of her books. She is just an outstanding author. Another 10 out of 10 read!!!!!!

My first read of 2025 had me finishing this Brilliant series: Enigma The complete collection by @authorshandi.
Isaac Holt is the kind of character of an alpha male we all love and obsess over. Successful, billionaire, Ruthless, protective, posessive and damn right hot! Cold and ruthless this man does not let anyone in, women are a release only and never goes beyond one night but on instant meeting Isabelle he’s knocked sideways and when she’s the FBI looking into him she couldn’t be more forbidden.
I very nearly didn’t read this one after seeing a couple of negative comments but what a load of crock they were because infact this story sucks you in and holds you from start to finish. It’s so much more than a romance, it’s filled with lies, secrets, corruption, betrayal, friendship, passion and love. Proof opinions and reviews are each to their own and what one may dislike another may love! Sometimes a simple - It wasn’t for me is more than enough! But from me this is absolutely a recommendation of a brilliant read.
So praise to @authorshandi for this story and creating the Enigma Isaac Holt but turning him into that possessive deeply loving man. Shandi was a new to me author and one i’ll definitely keep on reading and diving into her back list too.
This story picks up six months after the events in ‘Enigma: The Final Chapter’. Isabelle is adjusting to a new way of life and busy in her new career, while Isaac is impatient for their wedding. When her past returns to town, sparking the attention of the FBI and setting everyone on edge, how long will it take before Isabelle is sucked down the rabbit hole once again?
I’m glad to see Isabelle finally putting her investigative skills to work. I’d not been a much of a fan of hers in the previous books, finding her too emotional and distracted by Isaac to be an effective FBI agent. Isaac for his part continues to bring the steam with his controlling, domineering, and overly protective ways. There’s drama, angst, secrets, lies, banter, and dirty talk, along with many explicit sexual encounters plus a surprising twist I hadn’t anticipated.

Enigma: The Wedding is the 5th installment in the story of Isaac and Isabelle. If you have not read the Enigma series you will need to read these first for the story to make sense. This book ties up some loose ends but also has a cliff-hanger ending I don't think anyone saw coming. The story unfolds the progression of Isaac's and Izzy's relationship, their independence and dependence on each other, their individual strengths and strength as a couple, loyalty and love. Again, there are obstacles in their way and twists to keep us enthralled, as well as plenty (lots) of steamy sex scenes to keep us squirming. One particular major event is skipped, which will raise your eyebrows and have you scratch your head, but it does not detract in any way of the story and our personal love affair with this couple. Another 'must read' by Shandi Boyes!
This book is just WOW. It can NOT be read as a stand-alone and you must read all of the Enigma books to fully understand everything. While reading the Enigma series you will be prompted with a lot of questions that will be answered in this book. With that being said, not all of your questions will be answered, you will still be left with questions and possibly even more than what you started with. Shandi does a tremendous job of building up and off her previous stories and this is the perfect closing to Issac and Izzy. It’s really hard to write a review and not give away any spoilers so let me just say this, I promise you this book will tear at your heart and have you laughing out loud, and questioning what the f**k?!? Issac and Izzy and the entire Engima series is a journey you don’t want to miss out on.
This is the fifth installment in Isaac and Izzy's story, and the previous four must be read first. This is not a standalone.
This was the perfect ending to their story. I felt like we got so much more of Isaac in this book, then we did the previous four. He is so dominating and protective of Izzy. I just love him. He is one of my favorite heros of Shandi's.
The sex scenes in this book are sizzling. Isaac and Izzy have tons of sexual chemistry.
I've read all of the Engima Series, and I'm always amazed how Shandi keeps all her timelines consistent.
I definitely recommend this book, and the entire Engima Series.
Omg after that cliffhanger, I definitely cannot wait until Brandon's book. I want to know all his secrets so bad!!!!

Great Ending for Isaac and Izzy, but will it be forever
Enigma: The Wedding is a good addition to the Enigma series by Shandi Boyes. This is a series that must be read in order as the characters and story-lines are weaved over the books with one couple being the center of one or more books. This time Isaac and Isabelle (Izzy) are finally getting their HEA, or at least while it lasts. This couple have faced a number of adversities along the way and in this book there are still some surprises that happen. But along the way their connection has remained strong and their sexual chemistry is outrageously hot.
I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
As with anything Shandi Boyes writes this story has many enemies twists and betrayal rejection drama and sexual chemistry and fierce passion that never stops between Isaac Holt and Isabella Brahn. Despite the best efforts of some. There's is a adventure like no other couple in the series. Isaac is and will always be a force like no other, where he once though Izzy was his weakness he now believes she makes him stronger. The strength love and protection he gives is nothing to the love, trust and total devotion Izzy has for Isaac. I absolutely loved this book and can't wait to see what comes next.
I get that Isaac is very alpha but the one thing that bothers me is every time they are in the middle of any kind of sexual act he always says eyes. I cringe every time I read that. I know you want her attention on you and I am sure it increase your bond and climax but seriously let her close her eyes and just be in the moment not so fixated on you. I love their relationship and dynamic in the books but at the same time I wish I could throat punch him every time he says Isabell eyes. Love the series otherwise and can’t wait to read the rest of the books have several waiting on my kindle just the one thing really bothers me
So the book i really needed. The wonderful back and forth to get their way. Who will get a marriage when things are already good? Mr Isaac Holt is who. He works his magic and words to convince her, plead with her and move her the way they do best. Along the way they live their lives and then find Enrique's keeping in touch and that leads to a crossroads with true strength to trust when you're to in love to want to take a chance to help others. When you get your fill of good deeds and happiness. In pure Shandi style she ends with one sentence you never see coming. Well worth it. 5 stars.
This book isamazing I couldn't put it down so many questions answers you didn't even know you needed answer. It's so hard to write a good review without giving away spoiler.
I will say you will be left saying WTF out loud at the end of this book...
Isaca is still an all round beating his chest hear me roar sexy AF alpha, intense, passionated, raunching sex love machine, yet with a must soften side now Callie had joined the family
Brilliant conclusion to a captivating love story of two much loved characters
Wow, I did not think this series could get any better but I was wrong. To understand you should read all of the books from the start, this is not a stand alone but you will not be sorry you did. This is an amazing story of love, courage and stregnth of a couple that will keep you on the edge of your seat from the first book. A riveting read that still leaves you wanting more. Shandi is an amazing author who has you believing you are right in with the characters and experiencing things right along with them. A must read.
It's been a year of so since I read the rest of the books in the Enigma series. Picking up this newest book had me gathering memories from those books will the new text was connecting loss ends. I'm surprised I remembered as much as I did.
I enjoyed catching up with Isaac and Isabelle again. I'm of the opinion that they have entirely too much sex and for too long. They've worn me out!
In the interim before this book was released, I read all the Russian Bratva books. They are a good read, but more brutal and frightful than this series.
Oh! What a timeout written book. I enjoyed every minute of it! It had everything romance, mystery, lots of sex, plots that were always surprising, many twists and turns. I was never left disappointed, SURPRISED maybe but not disappointed. I have already downloaded Hugos' story, can't wait to read it and any thing else Shandi rites. Isaac and Isabelle true forever loves (like Angie and Jesse Hubbard ). I have Enigma this rating because it had everything I stated above.
While I really enjoyed the Enigma series, I’m happy to move on. It was a really long series. I wish the author would develop the characters and storyline a bit more and lighten up on the sex scenes. I love a good spicy romance, but it was back to back to back with a rushed storyline in between. I felt like the explanations of all the connections were rushed but the sex scenes was so drawn out and it was the same each time. Almost made you lose the feels because you were bombarded with them. Just my opinion.
Enigma was the first book I read by Shandi Boyes and I loved Isaac and Isabelle and Hugo et al and then I read Bound and Marcus was tied for my favourite but I think this book gives Isaac the edge. It was so full of emotion and gave me all the feels along with a lot of insight and some major surprises especially the end! Wow is all I kept thinking it is an amazing book and everyone should read it.
he whole Enigma series is amazing! Issac And Isabelle’s story will suck you in from the first page. The Wedding is full of surprises and answers questions. Do not read The Wedding with out reading The whole Enigma series first! You will be lost if you do. I love how the whole theme of your family is who you make it not just by blood is shown throughout all of the books.Shandi has a way of making you fall in love with her characters especially her alpha male characters. Great book.
I love all of her books, but Issac is one of my favorites, so getting another one of his books was incredible! There was a ton of character development and it felt like Issac and Izzy grew every closer. There were so many moments that made my heart melt into a puddle! Like all of Shandi’s books, this one is a MUST read.
P.S. Make sure you read the bonus epilogue... because damn
Isaac and Izzy have a love that just keeps growing. Isaac dominant and sure of what he is doing. Izzy has to make certain that what she's going to do is right. Their engaged to be married but a date is not set. But Izzy has a surprise for him and their love just keeps growing and getting stronger. No matter who or what tried to get in their way it doesn't work to separate them.
I was gutted when I finished Issac's story. I really needed to know more about what happens between him & Isabelle. When I saw there were 19 books in all (!!) I read the synopsis for each & found that book 17 was The Wedding. Yes I had to purchase it. Oh my the ending!!! Now I need to go purchase some more!!!! I never saw that coming!!! I was disappointed with a few editing errors but I am in love with this series.
So while this book is titled the wedding, I don’t believe you’re supposed to read it after the 4 enigma books…there were some new character developments. I just wanted to read about Issac & Isabelle’s wedding, but there were many other stories weaved in and a huge plot twist at the end. She has good writing but I wasn’t looking to read all the books 🥹
Issac’s growth in this book was beautiful and I loved the emotional tie ins.
This book is the perfect ending to the Enigma series. It stays true to Isaac and Izzys story with a lot of surprises along the way. It is an absolute must read! It is well written and will blow your mind. I cannot recommend this book and the Enigma series highly enough. My absolute favourite series of all time.
Sometimes the sadness from ending a good book is rewarded with the whole story
As excited as I was to read another book about Issac and Isabelle, I was sad to know it would be the last one. However Shandi once again outdid herself. I am sad to see the end but so happy with the way it ended
Omg my heart has still not settled down, this has taken me on a journey full of friendship, love, betrayal, and loss, also how fragile relationships can be, or how strong. Isaac and Isabelle have made me gulp a few times to the point I didn't want this book to end, fantastic read. I voluntarily reviewed this book.
I love Isaac and Izzy and lots of questions were answered here and some were left unanswered and then I was left with more questions. Their journey has been a rough one but so exciting and sexy and full of angst, I am glad to finally have read their final installment. Now I am wondering what is coming next.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book specifically made my heart so happy with how Isaac and Isabells life unraveled.! I couldn’t have been more pleased with!!! NOW, I am going to HAVE to read the books about Brandon… 🚨SPOILER ALERT🚨BOBBY IS CALLING BRANDON DADDY AND OPHELIA DIDNT SAY ANYTHING TO ISAAC??? DO WHAT????? I was flabbergasted!!! That’s all
