But this is nothing compared to what he finds in the containers of the sinking freighter.

Adventure lurks in the soul of each of us to varying degrees, and there are some of us that seek it out, making us better for it. It’s his experiences that give him insights as a writer, and it’s his overwhelming creativity that makes him a great story teller. He’s a fixed-wing pilot, commercial helicopter pilot and flight instructor, and also has been a commercial diver, professional dog trainer for retrievers, self-employed entrepreneur (patented his own line of water toys, and also a wakeboarding trainer-board), commercial crab fisherman in Alaska, and commercial fisherman in several areas.

Perfect Plan by Brett Diffley is a high-stakes, fast-paced adventure that kicks off the Davenport series with suspense and heart. The story follows Reed Davenport, a committed board member of Crude Technologies, as he faces human trafficking, endangered wildlife poachers, and a catastrophic hurricane that causes a massive collision at sea. Beyond the immediate danger, Reed discovers that the mysterious cargo aboard the freighter could spell disaster on a global scale.

Blending action, environmental awareness, and moral complexity, the novel creates a gripping narrative where heroes emerge from unexpected places and every decision has far-reaching consequences.
