A.C. Wilds was born and raised in New York City. She lives in an outer borough with her husband and two girls. She loves horseback riding, mythical creatures, and everything books. When she isn't at her desk writing the next great escape, she can be found with the blankets over her head reading a steamy paranormal tale.
They were mates, he was a wimp who didn’t want responsibility so to get out of it he decides to sleep with her nemesis. Heroine catches them on her way to tell her wonderful mate she’s pregnant. The wimp runs away for two years then has to come back, not for h but because of pack business she stays angry with him for a bit then just forgives him for everything because he saves her life and she realises life is too short and she loves him blah blah.
Then even more lovely information that whilst she stayed celibate because she didn’t want anyone else well he definitely had not been without women. So whilst the cheater who actually betrayed her and knew she was his mate went on to have sex with ow knowing she was still around the pathetic heroine remained on ice because no one other than her cheating wimp of a mate would do. I don’t know why I feel so upset about this because when wimpy cheater more or less admitted he wasn’t celibate she just shrugged it off by saying she didn’t expect him to be!!! I don’t know about anyone else but with mate stories I do expect fidelity and when books like this make a joke of that most sacred bond it really peeves me off! So not only do we have cheater who is not truly an alpha but we also have one who couldn’t keep it in his pants during separation knowing his mate was still out there and someone he supposed to have loved. This book is everything I hate in books in one of my favourite mates genre. Disgusting!

The H had cheated on the h with her nemesis because he didn't want to take the responsibility of becoming an alpha 🙄. After 2yrs of separation, the only reason H came back and wanted to mate with h was because his brother was having cancer. Didn't see the love here.

I would like the authors before writing a book to check their notion of what is ridiculous. If they don't, this is exactly what happens, i.e this type of sexist garbage is published.
I really enjoyed Colin and Orla's characters. Both were running from their own problems but were forced to face them again after being away from the pack for 2 years. There's a lot of heartbreak, pain, loss, and regret that those two needed to get through to reestablish what they once had.
Besides focusing on Colin and Orla's relationship, the story also focuses on the problems with the vampires that we first read about in the Omega books and the Blackclaw pack. With this book it was cool to see things from the point of view of another pack and have it still be dealing with recurring issues from the other books. Even some of the previous characters in the other books play a part in helping Colin and Orla. We also get a better glimpse of some of the medical studies and tests that the vampires and doctors have been doing on different wolf shifters. Diseases and other types of physical advancements are becoming a concern. I'm looking forward to finding out even more in the next books!
Alpha's Match is a fabulous continuance in the North American Werewolves Series. Colin and Orla have been through many ups and downs together and apart. After two long years, they find their way back to each other. It first had to be forced then they discovered that the present is what matters. Hot steamy characters that develop and change throughout. Highly recommend this book and the entire series.
Colin and Orla’s story ripped my heart out then it managed to put it back together in the end. They had to come together once again to save the pack but will past hurt and betrayal ever heal enough for them to do so. It’s a definite must read. I absolutely love this book.
A sweet second chance! I'm not big on second chance reads but I liked this one. It has a storyline, good plot and action. The fmc makes her man work hard to get her back and I loved it
Okay let's start with, this is awesome. You have a great world, amazing characters, action, and steamy. It's fast paced, so be ready when it grabs you and doesn't let go till the end. This is such a good read, and they just keep getting better. You need to read this series.
