There are worse things than a bad hair day...like having a crown taken right off your perfectly styled head.
I'm Brandee Jean, and I managed to win the biggest crown of all. I was an Amazon Princess and Queen of the Gods.
For like, two seconds.
Now, though, Zeus is back from the dead and everything I went through to win was for nothing.
Well...almost nothing. I got a hot British boyfriend who is half fae out of it, even if he does correct my grammar, like, constantly. He's not a big fan of my Mama, either. But I don't know if that's because she's kind of trashy, or it's because she's a zombie.
It's nice to have Mama cheering me on again, even if she is undead. Cause everywhere I turn there's a fight. I've got to get my crown back by competing against my boyfriend and my best friend, convince Mama her Hades hookup is just another in a long string of bad boyfriends, and stop the humans and paranormals from destroying each other.
But first...a hot oil treatment for my hair. Cause there's no way I'm saving the world with split ends.

This is a great follow on from book 1! Well written with a modern day twist on Greek mythology the storyline continues and is full of excitement, adventure, drama and magic and the characters continue to grow and develop and well I love the snarkiness! A fun read and I do recommend reading book 1 first!

Wow. What a story. Brandee Jean is quite the girl. She’s definitely strong and knows what she wants. Definite action to keep you reading.

This is a brilliant read.
Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start.
Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believeable.
Great suspense and action with wonderful world building that adds so much to the story.
Can't wait to see what the author brings us next.

This was an okay, entertaining read. It picks up where the first book left off and is the second in the series. I would recommend having read the first book prior to picking this one up. We are following the same case of characters and the events from the first book have highly influenced this one and it picks up immediately after the first. There are a few twists in this story and it was easy to read. The story flowed well and it did keep my attention, it just didn't blow me away. I didn't quite connect to the characters the same. I loved the snarky humor though. This story is teen/young adult but I would say a little on the higher end of that spectrum. Overall, I enjoyed the story.

Having been given the Crown, Brandee Jean (BJ) is not going to give it up. With Zeus back on the scene, the Gods decide the final round was not valid and set up a new final round. The contestants, Zeus included, are dumped on an island and need to take something precious from each of the other contestants in order to win. When it comes down to the three of them, BJ, Alaric and Zahara team up and take the prize together.
With Zeus' powers split between the three of them, they need to work together to prevent Hades from taking over.

So....I wasn't crazy about BJ's character in "Amazon Princess" but I turn that opinion around in this funny, magical, action-packed story!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story! Another amazing story with a modern day twist on Greek mythology.
A bright arrangement of colorful characters, characters that you love and even a few that are just Ugh!

I did like this book way better than the first one. It has a bit more drama in it. Brandee jean is pretty feisty and I love reading the continuation of her adventures. This book was exciting to me and I read it in one sitting. I would love to read the next one.

This is a great story. It’s well written and interesting. The main character is likable along with the rest of the characters who are all well developed. A great read that I recommend reading.

Good book!
Another great book to the continuance of the story. It was exciting to see and find out who wins and also who lives and dies. As well as trying to find hints on the next series for the underworld series. Good work and looking forward to the next books.

Good addition
Still love the who myth universe. Bj kind of drive me nuts but I think that was more of a personal thing. She was well written and still a deep character. Can't wait to read the book in this universe

I had fun reading the second book to the Amazon princess series it’s characters continue to deliver. The storyline has plenty of twists and turns.

Fun read
This series follows Mount Olympus Academy series. It helps to read the MOA series & Amazon Princess (the 1st book in this series) before reading this book.
Amazon Queen starts off where Amazon Princess left off. Exiting and dramatic stand off.
The end of chapter 2 was a happy surprise, but I won't spoil it for you.
This book is a fast read. I only put it down when I fell asleep. Quirky & quick. Flirty & fun. With a surprise ending.
I can't wait to read what comes next in the as of this date unpublished Underworld series.

Great story full of magic and magical beings, God's- but not how you've seen them before, and a main character who isn't afraid to be true to herself even when others don't like her.

Good but I preferred the first book. This one is sort of a pointless "re-do" of what was a perfectly good novel.

Still haven't read books 1-3 in series as didn't know existed, but an interesting read especially for teens as they can better relate to characters. I enjoyed the read.
