“The Sinner” Reyes.

I’ve been called every name in the book by my long list of haters: cocky, hard-headed, impulsive, arrogant. But there’s another name I like to go by—the best MMA fighter in the world. You’ve never heard of me, but one day you’ll know my name.

I was broken when I met her, mending mental and physical wounds, and that’s when Harper approached me, wanting to tell my story to the world. There was only one problem—she was the hottest woman I’d ever seen in my life. Why was that a problem? She wanted a profile for her blog, and all I wanted was to see her naked. It was doomed to never work out. But then one night I asked her to go to dinner with me, and everything changed between us.

I though it would be smooth sailing, but then her unknown past stepped between us, threatening not only the two of us, but standing in the way of my personal dreams. If I can overcome my obstacles, then I know I’m destined for greatness. There are only three things I want now—Harper by my side, a contract with the UFC, and for everyone in the world to know that I’m the most Savage Sinner in the world.

This is the second book in the series. You can read it as a standalone. I advise not to because this series is so good and addictive. This book was so good that I was so upset when I got to the end and find a cliffhanger. I wanted more I can't believe now I have to wait for the next book.

Damien Sinner Reyes is a tatooed MMA fighter. You can't help not falling for him and feeling bad about his past. Harper is a sweet girl who is journalist who's area of expertise is MMA fighting. Her brother is a also a past fighter. Unfortunately Harper has this jerk of an ex boyfriend who can't understand they are not together anymore. The ex is causing problems for Damien.

This series is actually making me understand fighting in a different light. Thankful to receive this arc in exchange of an honest review.

"This girl's gonna be the death of me. And I'm gonna love every single minute of it."

What girl, in her right mind, doesn't like a bad boy?? Hmmm? And deep down, what guy doesn't like a girl that can snark him right back in to place, call him on his crap, and turn him on? Hmmm? Well, Harper and Damien are a perfect match!!

First, we have Harper. She's a huge, and I mean, huge MMA fan. She's got her own blog and a pretty decent following. An accidental meeting with Damien Reyes gets both her reporter mind, and her female body, revving with excitement! The attraction seems mutual but she's keeping a secret, and a past, from him and if he finds out, what ever was starting, it going down for the count.

Second, we have Damien. Focused on fighting and working his way to the UFC, his mind is on one thing, and one thing only. Winning. Sure, he's used his fighting, looks, and bad-boy image to his advantage in the bedroom department. He's a guy after all. But meeting Harper finally rings the bell on his extracurricular sheet sambas. So close to reaching his goal, Harper's past may just ruin everything.

I'll be honest. I'm not a fan of MMA. I never understood the draw of watching 2 people beat the ever-loving heck out of one another. But, I am a huge fan of this author, and no matter what the topic, he has an amazing talent of pulling you in to the story and making you invested in his characters. I loved Damien and Harper! I will warn you now, it does end it a bit of cliffhanger but it will just leave you wanting the next book all that sooner!! (You even get a little sneak peak of a chapter or two at the end).

This is a great series, and Savage Sinner is a great addition!! I can't wait to see what's in store for these two!

Book 2 in the Savage Gentleman series. This story can be read as a standalone but if you love MMA, I would read book 1 as well. Love MMA stories. Harper and Damien were so good together. They had a chemistry that was undeniable and instant. Loved it but the only I didn’t love was the cliffhanger. I need to know what happened. I need the rest of their story.

I received an ARC of this book and I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

Damien “ The Sinner” Reyes is down but definitely not out! His story is going to be told by Harper she’s a sportswriter and wants to write Damien’s story. From the start they both realize there’s more to their connection than just a story.

Christopher Harlan teases you with part of Damien’s story now and the rest sadly you have to wait for but it will Definitely be worth the wait!

Damien and Harper, the return of Matt, Lucas, and Mila. Fighting is in his blood, not because of drive or because he wants to; its because he's always had to. Damien has had it rough growing up, fighting for everything that he wants. Harper loves the fighting world and loves to write about it. A chance encounter at the PT's office and then again at another fight, bringing them into contact and their world colliding.
She has a brother and responsibilities while he has focus. An ex boyfriend and some drama that goes with it. UFC is calling for Lucas and Matt is trying to make the big show, will he make it? An incident creates more set backs but he's ready.
I was so surprise! Christopher left me with a hanger.. a hanger! I could not believe it! I am so ready for the next one, so so ready! I need to know! Perfect 2nd book in the series, love to see Lucas and Mila moving forward and being a part of everything in this one. Cannot wait!! Did I say that already, really I cannot!!

Once again, Mr. Harlan knows how to tell a freaking story!

I have never really been one for MMA books, until I got into this series. And to be honest, I think that this one is my favorite so far!

In this story, we meet Damien "The Sinner" Reyes. He's finally recovered from an injury he sustained and ready to get back into the fight game. It's during this time that he meets Harper and sparks fly. She matches him wit for wit and their personalities mesh together so easily that it makes for a very interesting read.

This story was action packed and so entertaining! I laughed out loud on more than one occasion. The playful banter was incredible and the sex scenes were steamy but not overdone.

Mr. Harlan is one of my favorite authors. I've said it before, and I'll say it again. I have yet to read a book from him that I didn't immediately fall in love with! He knows how to keep a reader interested. The characters are so well developed, the story line is so interesting. You can tell he puts a lot of thought into these points. The backstories, the information, the details. He's an absolutely incredible writer!

The ONLY downside to this story was the darn cliffhanger! I NEED to know what happens to The Sinner! But I'm sure it will be worth the wait! :)

5 out of 5 stars!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

Wow, great book! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this MMA fighter book that I could not put it down. I am a sucker for a bad boy with a heart of gold and this story has him in spades. I found this book to be hot, entertaining, and enlightening. I have to say that Christopher Harlan did a fantastic job in making me live in a world I am oblivious to—even the terminology. I felt like I was right there. This is a heavy atmospheric tale of the MMA world, one that implicates the reader in the act of coveting the swoon-worthy, gallant fighter, Damien ‘The Sinner’ Reyes. He is the perfect hero for the MMA journalist and fight fan, Harper. Harper asked Damien to do an exposé on him for people to get to know who he is, but there is a conflict with another fighter. Damien is enamored with the feisty, sassy and obstinate beautiful woman, and he will defend and protect her from anyone—even another fighter. Their chemistry leaps off the page. They are combustible. Will they risk it all and fight to be together or does defeat lie within the fall? The storylines are quite unique, and I recommend this book for its charismatic characters depth, its great executed plot, and its steamy sex with a MMA fighter.

OMG this book was amazing! Once I started reading it I couldn’t put it down and I can’t wait for the next book to get the rest of Damien and Harpers story. You will fall in love with these two and be rooting right along with Harper for Damiens come back and hopes to get to the UFC. This is a great continuation of this series and does end with a cliffhanger. You honestly won’t regret getting this one!

Damien "The Sinner Reyes" is a hot MMA fighter. This is the first book I read in this line and Christopher makes a great job explaining the process and helping you understand.

He takes us thru Damien's journey recovering from and injury and getting back on the cage, at the same time he falls in love.

I really enjoyed the book and can't wait for the next one.

I really enjoyed reading this book and I loved how the author allowed Harper to be a huge fan of the sport, as so often the girl in the story knows so little about the sports involved. Damien is the perfect broken alpha fighting through and sorting his demons and I loved what a loyal and dedicated character he was. The story line was original, the chemistry was off the charts and kept my attention the entire read.

What a page turner! I devoured this book in just a few hours. The way Christopher Harlan writes just keeps me glued to the pages. "Savage Sinner" is no different. Damien and Harper are awesome! I adore Harper. She is so feisty but yet has a darker side to her. Damien is instantly drawn to her. This book is a slow burn to the max. Harper's ex, also a fighter, is out to destroy Damien in the ring but also doesn't shy away from degrading Harper any chance she gets. This book is gripping from beginning to the end.
Christopher Harlan can write any genre and it will be incredible. I would love to see what he can do with a shifter. Amazing author, incredible books and one hell of a nice man.

Christopher Harlan is an extremely intelligent and creative writer whose wealth of knowledge allows him to write books that are captivating, intriguing and well thought out. His new book, “The Savage Sinner” is a powerful tale of pursuing your dreams at all costs and finding that special someone to share in your ultimate victory.

My knowledge of the fight world was rather limited but as I began reading about Damien, I was immediately swept into his life. He was a young fighter trying to find his place in the MMA world with his goal of being chosen to fight in the UFC. He was independent, determined and wanted to be number one. Fighting was his life and he wouldn’t have it any other way. I was impressed with his hard working attitude, his regimented practices and his dedication to the sport. He didn’t always agree with his trainer, but he always accepted his advice and criticism with a smile. Harper was a surprise that Damien wasn’t expecting. She was a beautiful and smart woman whose knowledge of the fight world really impressed him. She was absolutely perfect for Damien, and she fit into his life as if she had always been there. The thought of seeing Harper ringside at all of his fights made him more determined than ever to become the star that he knew he could be.

The second in the series, this story revolves around Damien 'The Sinner' Reyes. It's still the same gym with the same training partners along with some new faces as well. I must admit I liked the vibe between Damien and Harper. Their pull no punches, play no games attitudes were refreshing and really made me like them right from the start, and the fact that there weren't fight groupies hanging around didn't hurt either. Now that's not to say there weren't a few obstacles along the way, but how they were handled was refreshing to say the least.
As we can expect with MMA, there are egos and attitudes that are larger than life and when you add adrenaline to the mix, one never knows what to expect and this author delivers. Now we have to hang out to find out what happens next in Savage Redemption.

I haven't read many fighter books but now I'm wondering why not. This story was great! The chemistry between the characters was steaming hot, making it even hotter is that she's a fight fan. I liked that this could be read as a stand alone since I haven't read the first book but now I just may have to. I can't wait for the next book, I need to know what happens next!!

I have read many of  Christopher Harlan’s books and he always brings his A game. With each book Harlan becomes like a new author to me. I have read his heart touching stories about family and hardship. I have read his books in so many different genres. What makes Christopher Harlan an amazing writer is that every book he brings a new side of Not only himself but of life. Harlan has fast become one of my favorite go to Author’s.

The Savage Sinner is an MMA based story unlike any I have ever read. Going deep into the mind of Damien “The Sinner” Reyes. Harlan brings forth an amazing journey of mind, body, soul and heart. How a young man who almost has achieved his dream has it cruelly ripped out of his grasps (for the moment anyway). Christopher doesn't just write sexy, strong, alpha men; his women are just as remarkable. Harper Silva is not a ring bunny. She is a hard hitting MMA journalist who literally bumps her way into Damien's life. Their journeys, both together and separate are

Harlan crafts a book with an outstanding plot, characters, development and flow. He is truly mastering his talent and putting all of his energy into his work.  If there is one author I highly recommend as a one click it is Christopher Harlan. You never know where the book is going to lead you but you will never have to doubt that it is going to be worth the pages turned.

Damien! I wanted more. Sometimes getting everything you want comes at a price, you either pay it or you regret it. Damien's life wasn't easy or typical of other fighters, but his life makes him a man you want to root for and stand behind. I enjoyed the banter and ease with which Damien and Harper interact, it felt real. I wanted more though. When the last chapter ended I wanted to scream out for more...but that will have to wait. The anticipation will be worth it...I hope.
When I started reading the Savage series, I was hoping to get more from Lucas (the first book), then MORE from Damien (second book) and knowing there is more to come...I cannot wait. All I can say is, will there be a book about Matt?! the other fighters? the young blood coming up? I cannot wait to see how this community of 'Savages' builds up and moves around.

This book was awesome, if I had never known anything about the MMA etc then this series and book would give someone an insight on how it is and what the guys who train go through. Also, Damien is such a great character, he comes from a rough background and was forced to fight not by passion or love of the sport but that was what he had to do all his life and now he just wants to be the best. I loved how he cared for his friends, was tough and resilient yet smart about things, and he was such an understanding person about everything. Harper was funny, outgoing, a savvy MMA fan, and writing an expose on Damien. These two had chemistry off the charts and are perfect for each other. I hated that things that happened to Damien did, but I am excited for more and also glad he has Harper in his corner willing to fight for their relationship.

Book 2 in Christopher Harlan’s MMA series encompassing the New York Fight Club, its fighters and the women they love. This is the story of Damien “The Sinner” Reyes. He is a young fighter with tons of innate talent who has just returned from Thailand with a leg injury that needs to heal up before he can do any real training again. While waiting for his appointment at a PT office he gets blown away by this sassy, sexy as sin woman who even knows about the fight scene, Harper. But he is not on his game b/c he doesn’t even get her number. A few weeks go by and he sees her at a fight. Turns out she is an online blogger who writes about MMA and is really into it, not just faking it to get his attention. Damien agrees to an in-depth interview and their friendship grows from there. But, Harper is hiding something, actually a couple of somethings from her past...one is family the other is a stalkerish ex, but as for the last one she never thought he would go as far as he did. What happens when Damien almost gets his shot only to have it cruelly ripped away? Revenge is coming and and the Brooklyn Fight Academy fighters better watch their backs. I can’t wait for the continuation of this tale and don’t worry, Harper’s got Damien’s back 💯 ❤️.

The Savage Sinner book 2  of the Savage Gentleman Series. By Christopher Harlan

Holy moly! Until I read these books I never thought much of MMA. Now I have a new feeling for it and the men behind it.

Christopher has a way of writing that makes you fall in love with his characters they're  perfectly flawed. So real you want to join them in the story.

You can read this as a stand alone. But you won't want to! You'll turn these pages so fast it will be over before you know it. And the ending good Lord Christopher what are you doing to us! So glad you write fast!

I feel like I write this for all of his books, but the chemistry of Harper and Damian is hot! The ability Chris has of writing these couples the way he does makes his books so addictive and believable. You feel him in his writing.

Damien and Harper are the latest power couple to hit our kindles by Christopher Harlan. The first thing we notice when reading his latest novel The Savage Sinner, is he creates a instant connection with the main characters. Harper, is a strong willed woman/ reporter who goes after what she wants while Damien, is a fighter who will stop at nothing to make a name for himself; they balance each other out perfectly. Although, the book revolves around the MMA world, the book is easy to follow and the story is well written you can't help but fall into the story from the get go! The characters are entertaining and provide us with an interesting storyline you can't help but want to see what happens next!

The perfect read for this insanely stressful moment. I always talk about how much I love Harlan’s in depth characterizations. The people in his books are relatable & he writes in a way that you feel like you know them and understand them. At risk of sounding Castawayish, they feel... real. And, sheesh. Never have I appreciated that more than this moment. Getting lost in Damien & Harper’s life for awhile (and -bonus- checking in on our old friends Mila & Lucas) was the medicine I didn’t know I needed. A panacea for the shelter in place, trying to talk your grandparents through online ordering so they will (please) stay at home while facilitating homeschool for snarky tweens & not lose your mind, isolation blues.

The second in Christopher Harlan’s Savage Gentlemen series. During this story we follow Damian Reyes as he works to heal after a leg injury that prevents him going after a shot to be in the UFC, like Lucas did in the first book. While at physical therapy one day, Damian meets a woman named Harper and they get to know each other through the course of the book.

This book can be read as a stand-alone but I would recommend against that, just so you’ll understand all the ins and outs with the characters. MMA is not my go-to for reading (or entertainment of any other genre) but this is a good story, relatable characters, well told. I liked it enough to look forward to the continuation of this story, as this book does end on a cliffhanger.

The Savage Sinner if the second book in A Series of Savage Gentleman. It introduces Damien “The Sinner” Reyes. He is cocky, hard-headed, impulsive and arrogant. He has a chance meeting with Harper at a physical therapy office. He is totally impressed but fails to get her number. They meet again at a fight and this is when Damien discovers she is a blogger for her on page reporting on all things MMA. She proposes an exposé on Damien for her blog and the two hit it off professionally and personally. Enter Johnny Altino, Champion in Damien’s weight class and ex boyfriend of Harper. He is arrogant and cocky too but in a bad way and is not happy Harper kicked him out and threatens Damien. This is a really good MMA book and if you’re into this genre, you will enjoy it.

Christopher Harlan's second book in the Savage Gentleman's Series does not disappoint! Book 2 is Damien "The Sinner"Reyes's story. Damien has had a difficult life, but he has a goal and keeps his eyes on the prize of his goal to be one of the best MMA fighters. Damien meets Harper, who I loved! They are great together. Harper is a true MMA fan, not just a groupie, and the back and forth and heat between these two are off the hook! We get to visit his friend, Lucas and Matt his trainer. Beware ! the book ends with a cliffhanger, and I can't wait for the third book, Savage Redemption! Do not miss this awesome series!

This was a 4.5 star read
This book is the second one of a series... but can be read as a stand-alone.
Although because I hadn’t read the first one I do feel I need to go back and do so for my own benefit.
But even saying that... Christopher knows how to pull you in.
I love the way he writes and how he gets you invested in the characters.
Damian and Harper are no exception.
The chemistry between them was hot.
Love the way we were taken through Damian’s journey of recovery and falling in love.
This ends in a cliffhanger... but it only has me excited to read the next book.
I was given an ARC but voluntarily chose to review

I dont know how Christoper outdoes himself with each book! This book was so good. This is the story of Harper and Damien. Harper is a huge fan of MMA and even runs a blog about it. She has a really good following. After an accidental meeting with Damien gets her mind working and her body humming with excitement will their instant attraction fade out? Will her secret and past ruin them? And Damien oh Damien. He's a sexy MMA fighter working his was into the UFC. He's only concerned with winning and nothing else until Harper. But his focus is now not only on UFC but Harper. Will her past sink them before they can start?

The Savage Sinner

Damien went to Thailand to broaden his training against his trainer Matt’s wishes. Ends up hurt and back home taking care of a leg injury. He goes to a doctor’s office for an appointment. He meets Harper who is waiting for her brother. They hit it off. He goes to find out what is taking so long and is informed that he doesn’t have an appointment. He says by to Harper. They meet again and Harper wants to interview him for her blog on MMA fighters. Things go from their. Damien gets his chance to get back into the game. Then an unfortunate incident happens. Will he get his chance or will he have to start over?

This book just proves the great talent Christopher Harlan has as an author. The characters come alive in my mind and I feel what they feel. See the scenes play out as if I am watching a movie not reading a book. That is true talent. Don't miss this series, don't miss this author! The Savage Sinner is a book full of emotion, suspense, hope and a love story with heat. The story is believable and a delight to read. I couldn't put it down and read the whole thing in one evening. Please hurry and write the next book!
