I am so glad Kim finally got her Truth. It was a long time coming hunny. The All Mighty almost had me digging a grave for her tale until she saw the light, just saying. I'm also happy that Kim and Evan has at least 1 mother on Both their sides. I'm glad Kim continually stood her ground with the Judge. I think it helped All Mighty see that there was no place to hide or run. This closure was needed in this family. Being understood by your children helps them to see your perspective on the way you deal and process things.
Oh the might judge Diana was a “home wrecking whore” herself. I knew she doth protests to much.
“Knowing now that she made the same mistake explains her disappointment. It doesn’t give her a pass, but I somewhat understand why she was so angry with me.” Nope I don’t agree with Kim. This should’ve made her mom more understanding.
Diana said they all kept the secret bc they didn’t want to break Kim’s heart. That may be true for aunt viv and mr Harold, but this witch has been breaking Kim’s heart for years
“Evil stepmothers were sweeter than you.” Facts
Kim is to sympathetic to her mom recounts of what happened. I, for one, couldn’t care less. I still don’t see how Theresa ruined Diana’s life.
Final thoughts on the series. It was really good. Had a lot of drama.
I really liked Kim which is surprising bc of what she did with her bff hubby.
Denise, though I should feel sorry for her, but I could take or leave her. It could be I started the series at book four and didn’t respect her for being ok with “keeping” Brian from Ava (or being ok with him being away from her) or when I finally read the earlier book, she kept Brian from Layla for a long time. Also Brian and Denise were annoying in book one with the meddling.
Brian was a good dad but I didn’t respect him not being in his daughter’s life bc it hurt his wife’s feelings. It was one thing during the pregnancy (I would barely give him a pass for that) but after, nah. And his punk self would still be moping crying and watching videos if Denise didn’t ok it. With me starting the series with book four, I thought Brian was so in love with his wife Denise but after reading the earlier books I have doubts if she’s his first choice. Back in college, Kim chose Trent and later in life Kim chose Evan. What if when he was begging her to try again, Kim said yes, would he even care about Denise in that way? Would there be a Dylan ? I will forever have doubt.
Aunt viv was awesome. I thought Harold was a good guy but he let his wife get away with too much for too long.
Trent was trash but his mom were good peoples.
Evan was just what my girl Kim needed. I love how he loved her and Ava. He had the jealous streak but was willing to go to counseling to give Kim the life she deserved.
Denise’s parent were good people. Loved how they checked her. And her dad gave Brian access to Layla, since her mom was being selfish.
Theresa was the key to the truth. Without her the judge would still condemn Kim to heall
Who would have imagined this was the truth. The truth is, I would have never imagined this was what Diana and Kim had going on. It was nice how Evan stayed true and stood steadfast and committed to Kim and Ava.
This book was good. I'm glad Kim's mother finally told her the truth. It was good to see them work on their relationship. I'm loving the relationship between Kim and Evan.
