Alice and Chuck meet at a charity auction when she purchases a date with him and their connection is instantaneous. The morning after their date they wake up married. Of course they are going to get a divorce but what secret is she hiding?
The "heroine" is flaky and selfish. The "hero" is a doormat. *Spoilers*
Instalove? She complains about going to the auction but spends 8 grand. Goes on the date, sleeps with him, gets drunk, marries him. Wakes up, realizes she married him and even though she really likes him and he tells her he's happy they did it she demands an annulment and cuts contact because it's bad timing?! She finds out she's pregnant and shockily she tells him and agrees to give the marriage try. Sleeps with him again then runs home to Mom & Dad and cuts contact again. Really? He tracks her down, she reluctantly agrees to stay together, gives birth and when he says he can't wait for more she basically says hell no. She starts a business and gets pregnant again she tells him and apparently has known fow awhile but didn't want to make it public because it could be bad for business? Huh? Her husband isn't the public and why would her being pregnant matter to the business? Honestly the guy should have given her the annulment, taken the kid(s) and run for the hills. This girl is selfish, indecisive and frankly she's a b****. I think I'm putting this author on my do not read list because this is the 5th book I've read by her and the best one was 3 stars. I think 5 is more than a fair shot and I'm sorry but I'm done.

This very short book was just okay for me. Alice was totally wishy washy and for supposedly an intelligent woman, she couldn't make a decision and stick with it. Chuck was a bit better but still not a very strong character. Throw in some poor editing and the book failed to live up to its potential.
Alice's friends talk her into going to a bachelor auction but she has no intention of bidding. That is until she sees Chuck. Chuck is a last minute replacement for another guy that got sick. He was somewhat worried especially when he heard someone shout such a high bid for him but when he saw Alice is was taken with her. Sparks fly between them as they talk about their schedules to set up the date. Alice is somewhat embarrassed by what she did because its out of character for her. They have an amazing time on their date and end up drinking a lot of champagne. The next morning they wake up with not only hang overs but wedding rings. Alice's first thought is to get it ended. Chuck thought since they had such great chemistry and a connection to each other they should hold off on doing anything. Will Chuck get his way on their marriage? Will Alice give Chuck a chance at her heart?
This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is off the charts hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This was a very quick read. The characters could use a bit better development. I didn't really understand why Alice was so scared of relationships, commitment and pretty much life in general. She reminded me of a spooked mouse, having no direction and who can't make a single decision.
Chuck on the other hand was so understanding and compassionate. I would have liked to learn some more about him other than his net worth and being able to instantly recognize what he wants. Apparently you can do anything with enough money but undoing it is a little harder.
Overall this was a good way to spend a couple hours.

Bella Winters is one of my favorite authors; however, Forgotten Vows just really did not “feel” like a Bella Winters read. The storyline had potential, but just seemed to fall short of the mark. Chuck and Alice were cute, but Lordy did they have trouble getting on the same page! While I normally complain about stories that are too long, I think maybe Forgotten Vows needed more substance as nine chapters and an Epilogue didn’t give us enough information. Please don’t let this review stop you from giving Forgotten Vows a chance. It’s a really quick read, and may be just what you’re looking for. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and found it just sort of meh.)

I have read quite a few books by this author and I wasn’t really into this book. I found it much too short and predictable but I am voting up my 3.5 star rate.. The storyline is about Chuck and Alice. Chuck is a wealthy man who agreed to be auctioned off for charity and Alice, is the woman who bids and wins. Chuck and Alice go out on their date but the next morning, they are married. The story is less then 100 pages and I felt it wasn’t long enough to really develop the characters or their backgrounds. For me, it was just okay but I do look forward to the next read from this author.

Alice’s friends made her go to a bachelor auction for charity. She was off men because she had walked in on her ex and another woman together. Chuck was only doing the auction because the guy that was supposed to do it got sick and it was for a charity and he couldn’t say no. When Alice saw Chuck all bets were off and she made an outrageous bid. When Chuck saw Alice he new she had to be his. This was a fun but emotional journey as Alice and Chuck work through their relationship.

Forgotten Vows is not exactly what I expected when I picked this book up after reading the book description. It is a short story that was missing the romance part of the story to me. I have read other Bella Winters books so maybe I was just expecting something that was not intended, if that is the case then this one nailed it. But for me I was not a fan and instead found myself feeling let down.
I received a copy of this book for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Forgotten Vows.A very sweet and innocent romance story. It starts out with simple intentions that lead to life changing moments. Chuck steps in to do a friend a favor that leads him into meeting Alice and forever connecting them to each other. What a phenomenal romantic comedy from Bella Winters filled with drama, adventure, witty banter, confusion between the characters, passion, romance, and love. I loved the chemistry and romance between Alice and Chuck. I really felt the heart and emotion between them. I can't wait to read more from Bella Winters.

The author has given us characters that we can understand. Chuck was in a bachelor auction for charity when Alice bid on and won a date with him. They had an instant connection and somehow ended up getting married on their date. Too bad they each overthink things.

A short well written story that had me laughing at somethings that happen. Alice has a problem with commitment and Chuck was a very understanding man, who could understand her better than she did herself. I enjoyed reading. Love, love, love!! ❤ Wow, and I do mean wow! This novel was excellent and thorough without becoming explicit! I love romantic novels and this one had a wonderful storyline to keep me entertained! Fabulous! The only thing I wish was that it could have been longer instead of a shorter novella.
Forgotten Vows by author Bella Winters. Entertaining read with some twists and turns. There are times you won’t know if you’re coming or going. Spicy moments add to the storyline. Enjoy!!
I enjoyed Chuck & Alice's story. Good characters. Lots of chemistry. This was a fun, exciting read. I received a free copy of the book. And am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
I would recommend this book to mature readers that enjoy reading stories with a mix of being funny, steamy, and romantic, with strong characters both male and female.
Ugh
