Tucker Carrington knew what true, lasting love looked like. He grew up surrounded by it, but he never expected to feel it for himself when he was only twenty-one. Let alone for Eva Kendall, a girl he’d known since she was born. His best friend’s sister. Since Eva was too young for him, Tucker had to wait for the right moment to make her his. Heading overseas for his father’s company, the distance didn’t stop him from keeping an eye on Eva. Because she was his first—and forever—love.

Hot, steamy and super sweet. Another winner by FD. Loved the hero he was so possessive and a caveman he made me laugh. I wish we had heroine's point of view though and I am not sure how many kids did they have exactly? the epilogue was not very clear to me.
Now it's time for the kids of this series to get theirs!! And like the fathers these kids go extreme.
Tucker has always loved Eva his best friends little sister but shes only 16 to his 22.. so he has a plan distance until shes a certain age and claim her. But that doesnt stop him from scaring her dates off.
8 years later he is back he talked to Eva dad and brother aka best friend now he is off to get his woman. And yeah he kinda kidnaps her from a date and informs her shes his. Now in this series I do wish these girl had abit more backbone and drive the guys more crazy and play alittle and make them regret all those years of waiting just for fun.
And now Tucker informs her shes his and his only.
The next story in this does ;) make those boys beg. Also cross fingers they are both virgins...
No ow/om drama, no cheating, slight secondart charas, sexy times, both virgins
Recommend- yes/maybe Cover-⭐⭐⭐⭐

What a fantastic start to the second generation of this series.
Eva has loved Tucker since she was a little girl but thought he had no feelings for her especially when he moved to work in England. It’s eight years later and Tucker is back claiming her, can she trust him and has really only been waiting for her?
Tucker loved Eva way before it was appropriate at fifteen and to keep himself sane while he waited for her to grow up moved to England but the time to claim his woman and he will do whatever it takes to show her how much he loves her. But after eight years of radio silence will she believe in him and their future?
Short quick read both main characters are virgins, it’s steamy and cute. Looking forward to more of this generation. Recommended read 4🌟
I really like this series but this one was just a bit off for me. I didn’t like Tuckers character much and felt like Eva was flat and gave in too fast.
I was mostly disappointed with how he kept avoiding telling her the extent of his spying and stalking her and then it just never came up or got resolved. I was hoping for a good dark spot with it but nothing. That left me a bit disappointed.
Writing was good, concept was good...as expected since F.D. is a great author. But this story was not for me. I'm only writing this review so anyone with reading preferences similar to mine knows what they're getting into on this one.
I love alpha heroes, but this one's behavior was, in my opinion, less alpha more abusive.
This will not deter me from reading more F.D. books in the future. I've adored enough of her stories to know that this one was the exception not the rule.
I absolutely adored this sweet book! I loved that it was a little different from His Love, Her Love, Their Love, and Unexpected Love with the hero and heroine being a little older and closer in age.
It was told mostly through the hero’s point of view, as is the standard for Love books. I really appreciate this since I feel like the hero’s point of view is usually the most interesting and under represented.
Tucker Carrington was a great, very possessive hero! He was a successful business man with his eyes on the prize!
Eva Kendall was a very vivacious and independent heroine, who (unlike many other Davenport heroines) has a successful career separate from her significant other. She was obviously very sweet and compassionate and has liked the hero for a long time.
I don’t want to give any spoilers, but, as per usual, there was a virgin heroine and a lot of baby-making going on. The book starts out with the heroine as a teenager and the hero as a twenty something. It quickly skips ahead eight years, in which the hero has stayed an ocean away (literally) to avoid temptation. This definitely reminded me of His Love, but maybe slightly toned down.
I liked the involvement of the other family members of both the hero and heroine! I want everyone else to get their own books, hopefully.🤞
I loved the first book of the second generation of Love books and can’t wait for the next one! I am hoping for an age gap, but I’ll take anything I can get!:)
I was privileged enough to receive an advanced reader copy of this book from the author for a voluntary and honest review. Once again Ms. Davenport delivers a fun read. This is great for a short & sweet read. Love the story, the characters. This is the book for you if you are looking to escape to another world for a few minutes.
Tucker has a healthy obsession with Eva. So much so, that he goes away for a bit to let her grow up. Their love is founded on childhood love that grows through the years, even with the time apart. Completely safe and so swoony!
Controlling Manipulative Jerk (aka the hero of this book)
Take a look at my shelf and you'll see that I love an OTT alpha hero. What I despise is a man that basically washes his hands of a woman (at least from her perspective) for 8 years and then shows up and tells her how to talk, act, and behave. Makes arbitrary decisions about things that should be discussed between two partners, like when to conceive. She was absolutely right. He never saw her as more than a child. He never gave her the courtesy of respecting her opinions and ability to make choices for herself.
OTT heroes are awesome. But the first action of love is preferring the other person above yourself. He abandoned her physically and emotionally for 8 years. This guy is no hero.
I hate leaving one star reviews. And I usually enjoy these insta love stories. I felt like Tucker didn't take Eva's feelings into consideration. Again I know the premise of the story. He literally pines after for 8 years with no contact. And when he finally sees her he doesn't give a chance to express herself.

Okay so multiple issues with this one. Number 1 - why have two characters whose names are so. similar? Tucker and Trevor.... seriously?!? Why do this to your readers much less yourself and not surprising not only did I get confused but the author even mixes up the characters at least once in the book. Number 2 - why can’t heroines in contemporary romances curse???? I’m tired of authors having a hero who drops fucks and shits left and right but gets upset when the heroine does too. I’m sorry is this 1950 and woman are expected to say shoot, or darn, or my stars. Fuck that noise and give me a realistic modern heroine.
Tucker fell for Eva when she fifteen years old, being older he knew he had to do something, that age gap nearly killed him. Packing up and moving to London to head up his fathers business was his only option. He may not have been near her but that didn’t mean he wasn’t watching.
If you lover over the top Alpha makes then your going to love Tucker. He left her, he gave her a chance to grow and have a career. He may have had a hand in making sure she didn’t date, well not past the first date that is. Eva belongs to him and our lead has worked hard to make sure everything is perfect for his girl.
He likes her when she’s too young and leaves the country. Ok fine, thank you for not getting with an underage girl.
But he stays away for ***eight years*** without seeing her once. He’s still totally into her but on her side, she hasn’t seen him and doesn’t know anything about his feelings??
But then he’s ready to get married and “breed” her and he expects her to fall right in line.
He never had regard for what she might have been feeling. He watched her on cameras (aka stalking) and scared away her dates for 8 years.
He is way too OTT for me. He doesn’t respect her (ex: she wants him to pull out and he won’t which is not consent in my book), reprimands her when she curses, the list goes on.
The only saving grace for me was that he wasn’t with anyone else either, *finally* not a double standard moment. But everything else about him made me cringe.

Pretty novella about a couple so in love that they don’t have eyes for anyone else. It starts with a little age-gap that makes it impossible for Eva and Tucker to be together.
When the right time comes, though, it's so funny to see his many stalkerish plans to make her his. He has all details in mind and all kinds of plans in motion to give her a happily-ever-after.
The parents also make an appearance and they are so cute too, also characters from previous stories. It was nice to see them still in love.
Tucker is one giant caveman who growls at rivals and claims his woman in all situations. I liked the two epilogues, especially the second one with that incredible surprise he has for her. Hot, over-the-top fun.
Tucker has loved Eva from longer than he should have. Knowing that she was too young, he heads over seas to his dad's company to run that branch. 8 years go by and he knows that its time to claim the only one he's ever loved. Everything is in place and he will do whatever it takes even if he has to kidnap her.
-safe read (they were never with anyone else. H went on 2 dates in HS but nothing happened and the h went on several dates throughout hs and some after because she thought the H hated her. She was trying to move on but he was secretly sabotaging them all) -dual virgins -no om/ow drama -epilogues 1 year and 6 years
Yes Tucker finally claimed his woman after 8 years of biding his time. But boy he wasn't just waiting in the sidelines😉 He was on top of everything that happened in Evas life. That story was sweet, possessive, hot and romantic. Loved they both were virgins😍😍😍 The 8 year waiting period was a bit long for my tastes but that's just me. Now I am waiting for the other to find their HEA.
This is Tucker and Eva's story. She has always crushed on Tucker. He left to go to London for 8 years so she can live some life before he takes her. In true Fiona Davenport fashion there is lots of alphamale, smutty, instalove romance.
Cute short read about Tucker and Eva. Again the caveman antics and alpha tendencies are in full swing. Tucker fell in love with Eva and started a watch over her for the next 8 years, Lol. They marry, double v-cards and live HEA! Sweet epilogues. 3 stars***
Maravilloso ¡¡me encanta un monton este bellisimo libro!! me encanta un monton cuando los dos protagonistas son virgenes ¡¡me encantan un monton los libros en que el protagonista es virgen o celibe!!
First Love (Love Series, #5) by Fiona Davenport ⭐⭐
Hero - Tucker Carrington. Runs a tech company worth billions. 6’2 and muscular with dark hair, a thin beard, tan skin, and brown eyes.
Heroine - Eva Kendall. Art restorer at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Long, white-blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
Overall Thoughts - It was okay. The writing is good, but the plot is an insufferable trainwreck.
You’ll remember Tucker Carrington as baby Tucker from Unexpected Love. He’s all grown up now and in love with Eva Kendall, Justice and Blair’s (from His Love) daughter. Unfortunately, when he realizes this at age 21, Kendall is still a too-young-for-him 15. So like the blurb says, he moves overseas a year later to not only put some distance between himself and his forbidden temptation, but also to run a branch of his father’s tech company in preparation for him taking over one day.
And as the blurb says, he waits for the right time to claim her. Is that two years later when she turns 18? Nope. How about four years later when she officially loses the “teen” at the end of her age? Nuh-uh. Maybe six years later after she graduates college? NO.
This man waits
All of this is pretty bad already. What makes it that much worse, however, is the fact that Eva .
What makes it even worse than that, is that he partially blames his sloth-like behavior on Eva! Saying .
When he makes his grand return, he decides to interrupt . So once again, he cares only about himself, and doesn’t give one thought to whether it would cause her any embarrassment. Once there, he becomes . And to top it off, Tucker is rude to the restaurant staff. All-in-all, baby Tucker grew up to be a giant a*shole.
Then there’s Eva. She’s not that much better than Tucker, unfortunately. She’s crass, speaks to her father any kind of way and then threatens to tell her mother when he says something she doesn’t like, and when Tucker shows up out of the blue acting like a crazy person, she .
The only saving grace this story has is that Tucker didn’t date during all that time either. Well, I guess I shouldn’t say “either” because Eva did date. I guess a better way to say it is that neither of them .
This book is such a disappointment. I can’t say I recommend it unless you really want to catch up on the original couples and their families.

My review :
He will stop at nothing to win her ...
I often read the duet operating under the name Fiona Davenport as a short escape, no brain cells really needed, it always alphas just out of the cave and sassy virgins. But here, while the story did not derail from the usual, prey sight, stalk period, then seduction, everything exaggerated but it is what it is to be expected, I hated the disparaging comments about some people during the restaurant scene. It tempered my fun. I know these novellas for what they are are overdone erotica, but it does not need to belittle others because of their less perfect outfit, appearance and so on. It disturbed the “innocent” pleasure I usually have while reading this kind of books. 3 stars
