Short and Sexy!
This is a short and Sexy prequel but it seems to leave a lot of questions unanswered and the next book isn’t about the couple that was in this book.
The heroine of this book works at a casino hotel in Mississippi and was in love with her boss Dario for years, when he finally asks her out. She goes on two dates with him and then he meets some rich chick from Las Vegas and her Daddy and decides to take a job in their Casino.
That evening, a hurricane is coming so the hotel is evacuating and she decides to stay behind with Dario’s best friend and her other boss and seduce him to get back at Dario. Though Dario takes off in the evacuation, he is not jealous so what she is doing doesn’t even accomplish her goal and the next book is about him in Las Vegas.

Audio read via Read Me Romance
The great thing about RMR is that it’s free and it gives you opportunities to try new to you authors. Sometimes you find a new favorite and sometimes it’s confirmed that an author just isn’t for you.
AT falls in the latter category for me...
I didn’t particularly like either MC. The H has wanted the h for years but never made a move and continued to fuck OW. He never made a move because...we’ll, just because. He flat out told her that everything they did together he had done with OW but then referred to the h as “his heart” and “his forever” 🤨
Heroine, only looked at and came on to the H because she wanted revenge in his best friend and thought by sleeping with him that it would hurt the best friend - who btw - didn’t fucking care....
Not a romance IMO by any means and just solidified AT as a no go for me...

I mean, wasn't it just an excuse to hook up after you had been disappointed by the person you thought things were happening with...But this is a process which is very popular in books and I guess actual real life. Wow, this one started off smoking hot!!! Like 4 alarm fire. But I didn’t doubt that with this author. This isn’t my first read.
It was almost a 5 star read for me. I had a few minor issues.
One there were a few editing issues. The first with the audio itself. In the middle of a sentence another sentence played over it and it felt like I missed something in between. Then again, when she shows up at his place. The next moment they are playing cards with no transition. Either the audio messed up, or there wasn’t a good transition between scenes. Either way, I felt like I lost parts of the story.
The second is with him. At first he says internally that he waited three years for her. Then in another he says six. That’s a huge difference. And I wanted to know which was right.
But the final thing was the hurricane. I found it hard to believe a woman wouldn’t evacuate a hurricane simply to seduce a man she’s not sure she could get as an act of revenge. She could have waited to seduce. Sex or your life???? IDK. Doesn’t seem believable. There were other ways to get them together alone in a plausible way.
However, this story does have me interested in reading Even Money. So I’ll probably pick that up.

SUPER FAST REVIEW:
So basically just enough plot to not be porn. Don’t get me wrong it does have some surprises, it is fairly well written (especially one particular part towards the end) and the sexy stuff does it’s job of being very hot but there’s very little (and kinda stupid) plot and the characters are very meh.
I don’t think it’s bad but know it’s very mindless and nothing particularly good.

This was so amazing! There was a ton of hotness packed in a small amount of time. I love Read Me Romance and now I’ve found a new author that I’ve already downloaded two more of her books. In Rolling the Dice, we are in the midst of a hurricane. The H and h are tucked away in one of the strongest buildings in town. As the storm rages, so does the passion between them. He is the rich, successful boss that everyone is afraid of. She has always thought he hated her because he’s always been an asshole to her. But secretly, he has been smitten all this time with her. The narrators were top notch. I couldn’t have asked for better.

This story was far too short!! I will be diving into the duet that it is spun off from just to get more of this couple (hopefully). In this story we meet Stephanie and Trip in a casino during a hurricane. Trip has had his eye on Stephanie since she started working at the casino; however, Stephanie had her eye on someone else. When Stephanie is turned down by her crush she decides to get a little revenge by enticing Trip. This was a super sexy, fun story that leaves you wanting more!!

This was a short quick read that I liked. Stephanie has been wanting to get with her boss Dario for years while out on a date he meets a rich girl from Las Vegas and her daddy and decides to take a job in their Casino. That evening, a hurricane is coming so the hotel is evacuating and she decides to stay behind with Dario’s best friend and her other boss and seduce him to get back at Dario. This was a good read I have read this author before this book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

A short, cute and sexy story for in between books. I really loved the All In duet so this was a nice addition to it. It was pretty uneventful and I would have wanted it to be longer, but at least it was pretty steamy and it was a sexy, quick read.

This story involve Tripp ( Dario’s best friend) and Stephanie ( employee of the casino and childhood friend). This character will be part of the first book in the All in Duet. I wish there’s a full story with this two characters.

This is my first Alessandra Torre book and I have to say I really enjoyed the way she wrote. Add in some fantastic narrators and I was hooked. Definitely going to grab some more of her books. Love the Read Me Romance ladies! They always put a smile on my face while I listen to them.

I really enjoyed this steamy, quick read. If you haven't met these characters yet, now is a great time. Torre gives a gut punch of sexy times in a short read that will leave you fanning yourself and ready for a cold shower.
