4 Star Review of A Dragonfly’s Wing by Jeremy Bradley
Jeremy Bradley is a new author to me. I found the story entertaining and it kept my attention from the first to the last chapter and is an LGBT story that was well written.
I really liked these characters, they were easy to relate to and I found myself in the story that he wove. The writing was descriptive and I could see myself in Lone and Paris particularly.
I was given the opportunity to get an advanced copy of A Dragon's Wing by Jeremy C. Bradley before it came out, but then Covid happen and well I became an "essential worker" over night, and didn't have the time to read it. On it's release date, I purchased a copy to show him my support, and see what all the rave was all about.
WOW !!! I know why this man was named 2020 Writer of the Year.
A Dragon's Wing, is a story about acceptance, self-identity, love, and betrayal. From the very first page, to the end, you're taken on emotional roller-coaster with each character. Watching how Terrance, and Milo grew through out the story was like watching a modern day Novela. The story itself is so relatable, I was able to attach myself to Milo's character, even though it is a fictional character I understood his frustrations and anger, and why he acted out towards Terrance, when all he was doing was showing him kindness. To conclude this review, the way each character is connected to the very end, it's mind blowing that it leaving you wanting more and questioning yourself.
"No matter how many facts are revealed, no matter how many apologies were made, the essence of who we are remains hidden. None of it matters."
Excellent story telling. I enjoyed the character development and the premise of this story. It gives life to people that you normally would just pass through without even noticing. Milo's story is my favorite and throughout reading this book, I found myself curious and wondering to what would have become of him. Great Job!
What a delightful story to read. The story is captivating from the start and I am sure you can easily find a relatable character in the story. There are so many things to like in this book and this is not your typical LGBT novel!
This isn't just an LGBT story. It's a good LGBT story, but it's also a story that you could put any characters into. It's a story about life and characters you can identify with in any manner.
It went all over the place with the characters lives crossing much more than any kind of psychological thriller. I was an okay read. With the editing errors and not really suspenseful as advertised I have to give it only 3 stars.
