I was disappointed that some of my favorite things about this man and his attitude towards others, particularly his assassin, were not covered in this one, but it is a decent and concise biography of a good man.
Another solid and informative addition in the Our Presidents non-fiction small chapter book series for elementary and junior high age students. Each book in the collection has interesting facts about the president featured in the margins, nice photographs, timelines, a glossary, presidential facts and links for further research. I would encourage any 5th grade (or higher) teacher or parent to read this complete series with their class or children to give them a nice foundation on U.S. History.
