The Omega's Alphas #5

Caught by her Alphas

Rate this book
It’ll take all three alphas to catch this omega.

Farrah has done whatever it takes to raise her fifteen-year-old son, Knox, on her own. The boy’s fathers, the three alphas she was best friends with as a teenager, know nothing about him, and she’s never planned on telling them. However, when Knox goes missing, Farrah has no choice but to ask for their help.

Ryder, Pax and Blake have long carried the guilt of sleeping with Farrah during her heat, afraid that they’d taken advantage of her. When she shows up asking for their help, it’s a second chance they don’t intend to waste.

The four work together to find Knox, but their past—the secrets, the guilt, the regrets—isn’t so easy to resolve. Can they save the child they share and heal old wounds, or will their happily ever after slip away yet again?

Reader advisory: This book contains scenes of violence, implied coercion and dubious consent. There is reference to killing a pet and an off-page abduction.

This was for the first time I read this author and I am intrigued to find about more about other work.
The shining thing in this book was how omegas are portrayed; they are fierce and very capable to live by them self. Also I liked alphas; they were strong but they give the space and think about others feelings.
Shot, but great read; recommended for all that want to read some light omega verse.

I don't know if it's just me, but as a woman I find it a cop-out when I read stories about female characters who hide a baby and don't tell the male characters because they "feel too much and are scared". In a situation when the male (or in this case males) are not abusive or show signs that they care, it just grates my teeth. All I can think of is how selfish the FMC is to keep the child and father away from one another because feeling overwhelmed her and she was too immature to face them. Instead of confronting them and seeing how the father (s) would handle a child, she runs and everyone suffers. Then the female character (of course!) had to act all high and mighty, making the fathers feel bad because they haven't been there. She doesn't know if she wants to let them into HER child's life (even after she made the decision without them) to remove them me. So self righteous. I'm sorry, but I just couldn't finish it. The poor men in this story didn't deserve to be put through hell after all the decisions she made that effected everyone's lives. I know as a woman I should be more sympathetic, but these were good men who didn't deserve for her to take the child away for 15 yr. And she wasn't even going to tell them when she went to go ask them for help. It's criminal. Okay I have to stop this rant.

The reasons why I'm giving this book only three stars.

1) Too short [ was really short for my tastes, Farrah should have move thoughts about why she didn't tell the males. Or have flashbacks when her mother kicks her out.] They could have been twenty thousands more words or so to make it better.

2) Barely any type of character growth on this one. [ All characters have suffered in my mind]

3) Not enough action between the main characters. [ Three sort've fights???? isn't enough to get it in her head about her males not leaving her at all or them as well.]

4) Knox was a great character but he needed to get mad at his mom for keeping his father's away from him.[ he didn't show any type of emotions on that.}

5) Lack of more sex scenes. I read possible two....no it was just one sex scene. This is not including her first heat as it didn't show anything at all.

6) Farrah didn't explain her fears when she found out that she was an omega, she thought it but it wasn't said/show/told at all. It was like it never existed.

That is all what i think about this book. While the plotline was good it could have been better in Jayce Carter's case. Her first three books in this series were great filled with details and emotions and this one fell flat to me.

I will read others in this series but i won't be rereading this book at all.

This novel was cleanly written and edited, with few if any typos that I found in the ARC version of this manuscript. The world building was competent, with this story being a contemporary romantic suspense set in an omegaverse world. The characterization was also fairly competent, considering how short the novel is and the fact that there was a heroine and three romantic heroes in this novel. Characterization of three or more heroes is a big challenge faced by authors of reverse harem romances. The development of the romantic relationship was natural and organic. The plot and pacing was exciting, with e turning pages quickly to find out what was going to happen next. This novel had high angst, but it was caused by the plot setup of the novel and the high stakes in this novel, so I was able to enjoy it. This novel used the Second Chance trope. The world building, plot, and pacing rated four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship also rated four stars. Therefore, the combined score of this novel was four stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger, so that is a big plus for this novel. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy m/f omegaverse romances which end on a HEA instead of a cliffhanger. I love m/f omegaverse, but a lot of them are trilogies which end on cliffhangers, which is a big drawback. I plan to buy myself a keeper copy of this novel.

Love has never been the problem between the omega and her three best friends. The secrets, lies and lack of communication have created the roadblocks to finding their way back to each other. It takes a child disappearing from home and an epic search to finally start the healing between these four characters.
Riding this emotional rollercoaster will keep you on the edge of your seat as they try to overcome years of regret, pain and mistakes. .The characters are interesting, well rounded, strong, and captivate your attention from the beginning. The number of twists and turns in this story will keep you reading until the very last page.

Downloaded for free from BookSprout. I have volunteered to give my honest opinion and receive no compensation for my review. Since I rely heavily on reviews to make decisions about purchases, I will never lie or over-exaggerate my opinion. There is nothing worse than seeing a bunch of 5 star reviews and realizing the book is full of errors or just plain bad and not worth my hard earned money!

This book is about second chances and what to do when you get them. Farrah made her choice long ago, when she was a lot younger and didn’t have as much of an idea about what to do. She didn’t have it easy but she made it work. That’s okay until her son disappears.

This is one of the shorter books in the series but there is still a great story here. I would have preferred it to be a bit longer but that’s just my preference. I loved the relationship between the three alphas together and the three with Farrah.

I wasn’t too sure about the big bad in this one. With it being a novella, it wasn’t completely clear who he was or what he had done, just that he wasn’t ‘nice’. It would have been better if that had been fleshed out a bit more but then the word count may have gone up!

All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read. It’s great being in their world, even though none of the other characters from previous books made a showing here. If you are after a quick coffee-break book then I have no hesitation in recommending this one or the series as a whole.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. After 15 years Farrah has to tell the alphas that fathered her son that he is missing. She is desperate to find him and that is the only reason that she lets them help her. They used to be close friends until she came into heat on a camping trip. Torn between their feelings, what is right and what is wrong, they have sex to help her not suffer thru her heat. None of the alphas knows how to act and her personal assumptions are all wrong because there is no communication. Farrah runs and ends up rejected by her family to make it on her own. Ryder, Pax and Blake still don't know what to do with her when she shows back up in their lives. Can the four find their son and will the men forgive her? Farrah might pay a very high price. I have enjoyed all the books from this series and look forward to the next one!

Farrah has a 13 year secret & that secret is about to become known no matter how hard she fights it. Almost 14 years ago on a camping trip with her 3 best friends, she goes in to her first heat. Instead of making her suffer, they step up to help her thru it. Once they got back home, she pushed them away as she didn't want them to settle when she knew they were meant for more. Now, 13 years later, her son Knox has disappeared. She has to face the 3 men from her past that she's been avoiding, but she knows they are the only ones that can help her find Knox. Her secret is revealed the moment they lay eyes on Knox. Now they have to try to forgive her for hiding Knox from them & get her to see that she belongs with all 3 of them.

I really enjoyed this book. I thought the characters were well-developed & their emotions matched perfectly to what they were feeling at any given point in the story. Story contains action & a HEA.

She grew up with three guys that were her best friends. They would do anything for her and always had until they had all gone too far. They had a foursome and she wound up pregnant. She disappears from their lives altogether while they are gone to college before they can learn about it. She has stayed gone for 15 years until her son disappears and she has no one she can turn to. They are stunned when they see her at their investigative business. But tell her they will help her. There is no denying what happened once they see him, because he looks exactly like one of them did when he was that age. Things are dicey, but they work through them. One thing leads to another and they all have agreed their lives have never been fulfilled without all of them together.

I loved how the Alpha's took care of Farrah on the camping trip the four friends went on. Farrah, an omega, came into her first heat at 16 and her alpha friends were only 17. Problem is Farrah put them out of her life after they gave her some room because she thought they didn't want her and they were scared and wanted to give Farrah room to understand what had happened to her. It was wrong of her because they missed the 15 years of their son's life. Now they all get a second chance without Farrah acting like a fool. They should have trusted each other and they should have mated her while they had the chance. There was plenty of adventure, drama, suspense and love. Finally Pax, Ryder, and Blake can be with their omega the way they should have 15 years earlier. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Farrah needs the help of her three Alpha male friends to find her son.
Fifteen years ago Farrah had gone into heat while on a camping trip with her three alpha male friends but now she must ask them to help find her son who has gone missing. Pax Ryder and Blake agree to help her but Knox looks like Pax so they are shocked to find that they had left Farrah pregnant. When they find him he is trying to protect Toya a fifteen year old omega from a violent man who has threatened her parents into selling her to him. They send the two of them off to relatives while they find the dirt on Michael to make him forget about Toya. Farrah find it hard being around the men she had loved as a teenager.

Farrah attached herself to 3 alphas as a teenager. She joined them everywhere they went. Pax, Blake and Ryder were a team like brothers never apart. They protected Farrah always none realizing what they meant to eachother. While camping as teens Farrah went into her first heat. They struggled with thier feelings but succumbed to the need. She ended up pregnant but hid it from them. That is till she needed thier help. Her son went missing and she knew they would find him. But old feelings are surfacing again despite hurt and anger about the deceit.

This was a quick re-read for me when the story I was trying to read refused to hold my attention.

I adore this story, and the rest of the series, but until I re-read and review them, I'm not talking about them here, though there is a connection between these books that is not the Alphas and their Omegas.

Fifteen years is a long time to go without your soulmates. But that's just what the heroine did. Miscommunication as teens after her first heat, which they helped her through despite their reservations - they wanted her first time with them to be because she wanted them as much as they wanted her, not because of forced proximity when her first heat hit. She figured they were meant for more than her and pushed them away. Until she needed them... 15 years later. It wasn't until they find her son that everything comes to a head...

I really liked this book. The way the author captured the teenage hurt and confusion, but with the adult experience and maturity, was well done. It didn't feel teenage angsty at all nor did it down play the way that the choices made at that young age can stay with people. I have a few questions but not any that really distracted from the story. The author has done well and I am now anxious to read the next in the series.

I'm giving this book 4.5 stars simply because I'm not ready to let go of the story yet and wished it could have gone on long after the epilogue. :-)
I have to say that this is by far my favourite book by the author. I totally got the feels for each of the guys and my heart broke a little for how they had lost all that time together. I REALLY wish that the story wasn't over yet...would have loved to read more about how they're living together and working through all their little insecurities.
Awesome characters, wonderful plot and a storyline that gripped at my heartstrings.

Farrah and her three alphas have spent 15 years apart. Farrah ran and she ends up running back to them when her son Knox goes missing.

Pax, Blake and Ryder are surprised when she walks into there works. And surprises keep coming when the find Knox. But the path to a happy ending isn’t so easy. Forgiveness, redemption and big changes before they can get their happy ending. This book was a great short novella. And I’m excited to read more from this author in the future

I don’t know where to start. Loved this story! Farrah had it hard and her choices were hers to make. She’s strong, confident and fiercely protective of her son. The guys are interesting because they love Farrah though they never said it as teens. Choices lead them back to one another and it was so genuine how they ripped the bandaids off to heal and forgive. Great dialogue.

Farrah's (FMC) old friends (Pax, Blake & Ryder) thats when her secrets catch up with her in this book when her son Knox goes missing and she needs their help to find him. Dragging her into all sorts of complications that she didnt want to confront. Missed opportunities, crossed wires, and a lot of emotional baggage doesnt help. Steamy but also with a good story too. Another great book in the caught by alphas series

"Farrah has done whatever it takes to raise her fifteen-year-old son, Knox, on her own. The boy's fathers, know nothing about him, and she's never planned on telling them. Until now." Absolutely loved this. Couldn't put it down. Very addictive, tragic, steamy, romantic, unpredictable, fast-paced, and an emotional rollercoaster. Love knows no bounds.

I enjoyed this new "Omega's Alphas" story. It's a sexy reverse harem romance with a touch of deceit, action and suspense. This is not one of my favorite in this series but it is interesting. Farrah, Ryder, Pax and Blake are good together. Farrah's son goes missing and she must in least his fathers in helping find them. However, they did not realize there was a son but get a second chance at winning her over. Can they win their mate over? Can they bring Knox home safely.

I volunteered to read this ARC for an honest review. I enjoyed this story about Pax, Ryder, Blake and Farrah. They are all friends. When she goes into heat on a camping trip the guys step up. But it had a consequence that she's hidden for 15 years. Now her son is missing and she seems their help. Great HEA in the end.
