“…witches and wolves don’t mix. Or do they?”

Serenade by T.K Lawyer is a great paranormal romance. I love everything paranormal, with witches and shifters right there at the top. So, when this book popped up on my recommended book feed, I knew I had to read it. It is a little different from other paranormal/shifter stories that I have read- and has its own unique identity. It was intriguing and entertaining- and I enjoyed the story.
Kingsley is a wolf shifter, who had given up hope of ever finding his fated mate- until he meets Eva. Everything about her calls to him- he is drawn to her like a magnet.
Eva is a powerful witch, who has trust issues and a fear of losing control of her powers. She doesn’t date, but can’t help but notice the connection she has to Kingsley. Too bad she can’t trust men. Or can she?
Will this Arctic Wolf and the alluring Witch find love, or do they discover that wolves and witches definitely don’t mix? You really should read the story and discover the answer for yourself.
I will definitely be keeping an eye out for more from T.K Lawyer in the future.

I did like it. And where I do like alpha men doing what they normally do. This one seems obsessed and stalkerish to me. That's how I felt about it. If that would of happened to me. I'd be calling the police on his crazy butt. But other than that a good plot from start to finish. The characters were strong in their own way. Though I think we missed a bunch in between the main male character and the second female lead that he had a past with. There should of been more drama, because I honestly thought that's what was going to happen. But it took a completely different direction and a character totally out of left field.
Kingsley is a male wolf shifter whose on the prowl for his fated mate. But in the mean time he runs a business and dates the local flavors.
Eva is scared of her powers. She doesn't know what to make of them. But keeps her distance from anything to do with dating, because for some reason they always end in disaster. Until she meets a straight forward growly alpha male of her dreams. But why would he want her. When he can have anyone of the women throwing themselves at him.

Serenade by T.K. Lawyer is an interesting read and a little different from the usual paranormal shifter stories. T.K. is a new author to me and I enjoyed the story of a witch and a wolf shifter and a slow burn romance.

Kingsley wants nothing more in life than to find his mate but telling her the truth of what he is needs to be done carefully or he could lose her forever and that is not an option. Now he has found his mate he is not willing to let her go but getting her proves harder than he imagined.

Eva has powers she is afraid of and her trust in men is non existent but she can’t help but want the strange sexy man she just met. If only she could trust him and not hurt him with her powers in return. He seems too good to be true and she soon finds out he may just be.

I am interested in reading more from TK.

Kingsley, the Artic Wolf doesn’t have a mate and had given up hope of finding his fated mate until Eva, a witch walks into his life throwing him a curveball. Meanwhile Eva had long given up on men and love but can not deny the chemistry between her and Kingsley, there is just something about him she can’t ignore. Kingsley also can not ignore Eva’s scent and is determined to win his mate over.
This is a paranormal romance with a touch of magic, between a wolf shifter and a Witch. I loved the characters and the storyline line kept me hooked from page one. It was set in a wonderfully atmospheric Alaska setting. The chemistry between Eva and Kingsley sizzled off the page and there were some very heated scenes between the two of them. I was cheering them on to a happy ending. A great read.

This book heads off to a usual rivalry of two who don't mix. The Wolf doesn't have a mate or does he. Both the Wolf and other have gave up on love due to a series of events in thier lives. The chemistry between these characters is so amazing it jumps off the page right into your heart.

Serenade by T.K. Lawyer a unique four-star read. I enjoyed this story, it wasn’t the usual story that we get when reading about wolf shifters, this had a great spin to it and made a great story. I love taking a chance on a new to me author and this one definitely is one I will be looking for again as I enjoyed this one overall, I did feel that it could have been a little more polished at times, but overall very good. Eva was such a compassionate character, she makes you warm to her, and Kingsley pulled me into him, there was just something special about him. I can only hope to grab something else from this author to see what will come next.

A wolf meets a witch and the hunt begins. In Serenade, by TK Lawyer, we get introduced to wolf shifter Kingsley and the woman he believes is his mate-Eva. He basically has lived his life searching for that one perfect "mate" meant for him. While out one night, he actually finds her. "...there was no need to confirm she was his match. He already knew. Already he felt the emotional attachment growing within him..." Instant attraction on his part, not so much on hers. The story takes off from there with him trying to win her hand, all the while keeping his secret identity as a wolf from her. But it ends up she is actually keeping some hidden "talents" from him. Abilities that she fears can possibly seriously hurt him. As Kingsley and Eva start to grow close, that is when the magic starts to happen. Powers erupt, attraction sizzles, secrets explode, miscommunications occur, and outside forces of evil intervene. Can the two of them overcome the odds against them to fall in love or are the forces against them too great. Can she accept his wolf half? Can he accept her witch powers? Will family and friends come between them? Maybe the path to true love isn't smooth, but it sure is fun:-) I has only two issues with this book: The language, especially in the beginning, reads like a Victorian novel, very wordy and cheesy. Also, there are a couple of unflattering/questionable descriptions of the heroine. When portraying a bigger sized heroine, don't use words like "rolls of flab" "junk in the trunk" or "too many bulges" to describe her in ANY context- especially during a romantic scene. We get it, but we don't need to hear it. I received an ARC of this book and was happy to review

"From the very first chapter I was grinning like a kid with a candy. The whole fated mates is an always go trope for me. The attraction, desire and lust but the possessiveness THAT'S the Grand Prize. Kingsley was all that from the very beginning and hooked me completely. What a great beginning. Loving a man that's willing to buy your favorite tea company so you can have all the time? YES PLEASE! Where do I sign? Asking for real.

Why everlasting love has to be so hard? Poor Eva broke my heart. I tend to avoid FMC weak and self pitying I'm so glad she wasn't like that. Yes, she had some 'issues' yet she was sweet, funny and willing to try something new and her self doubt last a few pages.

I love their relationship, though Kinglsey and his wolf wanted to have her in all ways *wink wink* claim her. Their connection was building slowly and their relationship still was progressing and that was delicious to read. Don't get me wrong I love all the spicy moments BUT their slow burn was beautiful. Like to strangers who became supportive friends until their relationship blossom into something deeper and eternal. TBH, there wasn't always like this... Eva truly hurt Kingsley and that broke my heart. Why is it so hard to accept what's different? I don't get *rolling up my eyes* she was cruel and poor baby wolf suffered but quickly she corrected herself.

I absolutely adored this book and highly recommended to all PNR lovers as me. Fated mates, romance and so off the charts scenes plis there's magic, powers and suspense!"

I loved reading the book Serenade by TK Lawyer. I love wolf shifter books and this story is an example of the reason why. The book pulled me in from the beginning and I quickly found myself lost in the story of Kingsley and Eva. Kingsley is a wolf that hasn’t found his mate. While he may be popular with the women he meets, he is looking for the other half of his soul. Eva is a woman who after her last relationship has decided not to date. While she finds Kingsley handsome and charming, she doesn’t believe that he is for her. He can have any woman he wants. Kingsley recognizes Eva from the first moment she came into the room. Eva is falling for Kingsley. What will happen when she finds out he is a wolf-shifter? What does the future hold for Eva and Kingsley? Read this book to find out. I love how Eva is kind and caring. Kingsley is at a loss on how to get Eva to accept him as her mate. I grew to care about both of them with each chapter that I read, and I wanted them to find happiness. There are other characters that are introduced and many of them become friends with Eva. There are also a few that have their own agenda and plans. This is a book that has an atmosphere of romance and some scenes are red hot to read. I would highly recommend this story.

Kingsley is an arctic wolf shifter who really wants to find his fated mate. The only concern he has is that he will have to tell her what he is or he would probably scare her off. When he meets Eva, he is sure that she is the one. But how can he approach this situation and not end up losing her?

Eva is a witch with strong powers. But she has a fear that she might not be able to control her powers and doesn’t want to hurt the man she is feeling attraction to. She also isn’t sure she can trust him based on her own past experience with men. It makes her nervous when he seems just too good to be true, especially when she feels she does not deserve such a man. With both of them afraid to make a move and insecure, will they have any chance of a HEA?

I enjoyed this book about two people letting their past hold them back from happiness. The characters are well-developed and personable, the attraction between both of them noticeable. The story line flowed well and gave the reader enough to keep things interesting.

TK Lawyer is a new author to me, so I had no idea what I was going to get when I picked up Serenade by her. It was quite the fast and interesting read. I loved how this may not be my go to for choice of genre but I thoroughly still found myself enjoying the book. I am curious to see what else she has written that I can sink my teeth into soon. I look forward to seeing if we will get more along the same storyline as this one though as well.

In Serenade we get the story of Evan and Kingsley. I loved how these two were both pushing/pulling each other. It made me sit on the edge of my seat to figure out how this would all turn out for them. Kingsley is a wolf shifter and that throws in some extra drama for the two. I won’t go into much more details because I feel they would destroy the story for you. You will just have to take my recommendation and scoop this up to find out for yourself. I am sure you will find yourself falling in love with these two soon!

The story was engaging and easy to get drawn into. I liked the characters but felt that both Eva and Kingsley were super obnoxious at times. It was annoying that Kingsley would never come out and just say what he was to Eva, leaving her guessing at everything in their relationship. Eva is a strong woman but I can understand her hesitance to get too involved with Kingsley, being brokenhearted before, and not understanding anything that was going on between them. I was expecting something to happen with Kingsley’s friend Hazel, but was surprised to see it was Eva’s “friend” Crimson who started all the drama. Overall it was a great romance between the two main characters and again, a great story line.

I would really be interested to see a story about Marianna and Claire, Eva’s witch friends, and maybe even Kingsley’s brother.

Kingsley gave up on meeting the love of his life when his life was turned upside down by Eva who has a mystery for him to solve except he doesn’t know how.
Eva has an infectious laugh, scrumptious curves, and a smell that simply undoes him.
Eva gave up on men a long time ago but there’s something about Kingsley that makes him different. He’s determined, motivated, loving, and unlike any other man she’s dealt with before.
Eva is a precarious one. . .
In this opposites attract story, the two are drawn to one another. This book will have you on the edge of your seat as we follow this unique fuel turns to seduction. Beautifully written and a journey to go on with the writer through the reader’s perspective. I loved this one start to finish!

I enjoyed this paranormal story. This is not my first book by this author but it is my favorite. I never hesitate to pick up this author’s books. They are well written with connectable, lovable characters that make the story realistic. This book is no different. It is a story of a witch, wolf and fated love. Kingsley is a wolf who has given up on finding a mate until he meets Eva. Eva has given up on men but there is something about Kingsley she can’t resist. Can a wolf and a witch be life mates? I love their chemistry and their attraction to each other. They are strong characters that kept me turning pages, I had to know what happened to them. Is it possible that they will find their HEA? I highly recommend reading their story to find out what happens with them.

Serenade is a supernatural romance story that pulled me in from the very beginning. Kingsley is looking for his one true mate. Eva has decided to put dating on the back burner after her last relationship. A chance meeting at a gallery reading sets their story into motion.
I found myself really enjoying both Kingsley and Eva. Kingsley is taking his time with Eva because he wants to do it right and he is in it for the long game. I love how Eva is herself around Kingston and opens herself up. However, their story is a bit challenged because usually their kinds do not mix in terms of mating. The back and forth...the pushing and pulling...all made their story enjoyable to read and kept me hooked until the end.

He his handsome and kind and can have any women of his kind he wants. Eva is a witch that is beautiful, strong and set on never being in a relationship again. She meets Kingsley and he is enthralled with Eva. Her beauty is breathtaking, her cheery disposition one of a kind and her scent is like no other. Eva is struck with Kingsley and his handsome self but she doesn't know his big secret....he's a wolf! She is slowly coming around to Kingsley's affection and attention but if she finds out his secret will it kill his chance? Kingsley won't take no for an answer so read Serenade to find out if wolves and witches can mix!

This is a steamy Paranormal Romance with a wolf shifter and a human who has no idea the supernatural even exists. Kingsley knows right away that Eva is his, but now he will have to convince her, and he will do anything to prove it. But how will she react when he tells her the truth? Eva gave up on dating, but meeting Kingsley give her second thoughts. Should she give him a chance? Why does it feel like he is hiding something?

An entertaining supernatural romance, this has elements of romance, suspense, and some fun thrown into the mix. The characters are real and fun, I would love to see more of them. Even though Eva isn't sure what she believes, she steps up for those she cares for when the time is needed. It is a story of whether or not these two, who seem to be fated, can dance to the song of romance and become one. But it is not a simple one. It takes love and trust, and we see just how much each one has.

If you are a fan of supernatural romance, you will enjoy this book.

Kingsley longs for his mate but has not found her in his long life and is starting to think he never will. To help relieve his boredom he attends a gallery reading where psychics give random reading to people who attend and Kingsley likes to people watch. As he is sitting watching a reading the the door opens and a woman enters but when he catches her scent he knows she is his mate. Eva has powers that scare her and her past boyfriends have left her wary and unsure why anyone would want her so when a good looking man shows interest she runs.Kingsley knows he must find a way to win her over.

Serenade by TK Lawyer is a wonderfully written story that once I started reading I couldn’t put down. I found myself lost in the pages and had to know what happens next. The characters are very well developed and the story flowed. I loved Kingsley and Eva. Kingsley is a wolf and is looking for his mate. He’s quite popular with the ladies but has yet to find his soul mate. Eva finds Kingsley to be very good looking but after her last relationship she’s not quite ready to date. What does the future look like for these two? What happens when she finds out he’s a wolf shifter? Find out what happens next in this absolute must read. I can’t wait to read more from this Author

TK Lawyer has done it again. Serenade is a paranormal love story that keeps you wondering what will happen next. I find stories about wolves interesting because they look for their mate and will remain alone if they can not find him/her. This story is about Kingsley (a wolf) and Eva (a witch) who gave up finding their soulmate until they found each other. The problem is that wolves and witches do not mix well. Can Kingsley and Eva move beyond the barriers and have a relationship? Is there hope for Kingsley and Eva? I highly suggest this book and I cannot wait to see what TK Lawyer will come up with next.

Kingsley is a wolf shifter desperate to find his mate, so much so he dreams of her, but nothing can prepare him for the feeling of finally meeting her.
Eva is a witch who struggles with her power. She can feel the chemistry with Kingsley but is afraid of him uncovering her secret.
This is a paranormal romance, but the wolf shifter meets witch adds a new dynamic.
Both of the main characters are strong and endearing, there are many secrets between the two to start with, but as the story unfolds the bond between them grows stronger and stronger...and they’re pretty hot to be honest!
This is my first book by this author, but I’d look out for more in the future.

This is my first book by TK Lawyer, I knew I wanted to read it as soon as I saw there was a witch involved. I’m a sucker for a witch, and I'm not ashamed about it. This romantic book had me from the beginning. I had a hard time putting it down. Eva is by far one of my favorite characters and was wonderfully developed. Kingsley had me wishing I was more of a dog person, (haha) and I love how these two interact. Absolutely a must read for my paranormal readers out there and even those that don’t read this genre much. I can’t wait to read the next book and see where TK Lawyer goes with it. Will it be more Eva and Kingsley or other fantastic characters in this book? I’ll be ready!

Cute and sweet romance between a shifter and a human witch. Absolutely enjoyable. There are sex scenes and the descriptives of body parts and sex acts had me roll my eyes a couple times but some authors have that style. I gave 4 stars because a being who is 190 years old should have complete control over impulses, and there were instances where his actions could be considered stalking. I don't like anything to normalize stalking behaviors. That said, the relationship was completely consensual. I do think honesty would have helped both avoid trouble but even real life relationships tend to have that pitfall. This book was given to me at no charge and all opinions are completely my own.

Kingsley is tired of a life of sleeping with any woman he wants, instead he wants a mate, His Soul Mate. Ava's life has been hard, men from her father to her ex-boyfriends have mistreated her, she's positive there is something wrong with her, and think's she might be going crazy. A chance meeting brings them together and she is shocked that Kingsley is attracted to her. A wonderful book about two people coming together, slowly learning about each other but also hiding a secret that can tear them apart. Add that with a crazy woman, witches/Wiccan, and shapeshifters and you find yourself a hell of a book to read. Loved it, Loved it , Loved it

Kingsley- what a confusing character. He is a wolf yet whenever tells his mate. He is no family moody and day dreams a lot about Eva. Some of his parts in the book were confusing.

Eva - she has some baggage to deal with From her childhood. And the fact she finally opened up to Kingsely that is one thing I liked about him. He found the ones to help her.

The story was good. There were parts that not my favorite but that's ok. Chapter 14 well that was very confusing until you finally figured out what was going on.
They story flowed good - slow at times - wordy at times. But overall a good read.
This author has a style all her own.

Serenade by TK Lawyer was a wonderful romance. I loved Kingsley and Eva. They were amazing characters with great development. I loved how Kingsley approached the situation with his mate and how he took his time getting to know her. Eva also had her own surprises but I loved how she let her true colors shine with him. She was a fascinating character and definitely my favorite. I loved the setting of this novel in Alaska as well as the inn. Such a wonderful read and I highly recommend it.

Serenade By T.K Lawyer. This story follows Kingsley and Eva. Kingsley has been looking for his mate for a very long time, he feels empty and just wants to find his mate to fill the void in his hear. Eva is not looking for a man after her past relationship, she’s not too keen to start up another one just yet. Both characters were well written and easy to warm too. I love wolf shifter stories and this one is probably one of the best so far. I was pulled in from the start, the author kept my attention and did not disappoint, I did not want it to end.

Enjoyed reading this paranormal. Characters have some personality kinship and an electric connection which seems to challenging impatient yet cautious of acceptance. He's knows exactly who he wants and the danger to his lifestyle to his desire is real and risky. To my knowledge, I've never a book by this author and although I don't care for the withholding secrets plots, this story is magical, adventurous and I love how the author doesn't rush the romance.
