Addie wasn’t expecting much when she inherited a cabin on Lake Verret from her father. He’d never done anything for her in life so death shouldn’t pose any surprises.
Except it did.
An uncle she never knew about and a decades old murder mystery await her when she arrives at a place that eerily resembles one of the sketches on Wade’s wall of unsolved crimes.
Ghosts from the past threaten her relationship with Jake as the people she relies on seem to be drifting away. Will one summer on the lake be the final nail in Addie’s coffin as she struggles with the gift she inherited from the man who abandoned her?

. The soap opera continues... but the mystery was actually pretty decent in this one. Still no real connection between Jake and Addie. They just 'are'. It make Jake's character feel very flat and unimportant to the story. Taken for granted?
But I did like it better than the second book. If it weren't for the mystery, the soap operaness of Addie's friends would have dragged the book down.
Safety is fine. Not sure why the blurb makes it sound like Jake and Addie are on the rocks in this one. That might have make it more interesting, but really there's just a wee tiny minuscule bit of jealousy. *roll my eyes*
This was a great third book, that kept up the anticipation of the mystery while revealing new things about Addie's abilities. I also like the continual work on the group's dynamics and individual character development.
This story along with all the other Hidden stories are so touching. Each character is unique in their own way and each one become important to you. Their love for one another and reading the way they interact with one another makes you wish you had those kinds of friends. I gave the book a five star because Kristin puts everything she has in a story. You can easily see every part of the book as if it was real. She shows what friendship is supposed to be and she shows what love is in every book. Another amazing read!!
I should have said this in my other reviews but Kristen Coley has done an amazing job, these books have many characters and she has managed to give them all such different characteristics but still mesh together. I can’t imagine being able to do that and they all stay true to themselves. Addie and Jake are perfect together and all of their friends and family come together perfectly. I just love Addie’s gift and now Wade’s together with the rest of the team they solve mysteries that I don’t believe would have been solved otherwise.
I loved the first book in this series and how it didn't leave me with heart ache. I couldn't help but love the second book as it drew me strait in. This book??!! This one I couldn't put down! I loved it and couldn't have been happier with the ending. Talk about the connections and how you constantly wondered what was next and in wondering couldn't put the book down.
I wasn't quite sure how I would feel about reading this series, it's pretty much right up my alley but a YA series about a psychic girl made me wonder if it would be worth reading. I loved this series!!! I can't wait for book 4 to come out. I would seriously recommend this series if you like mystery a touch of romance fun banter.
This is not just a series but a world you dive into and a family you know
There are just some books or series that delve into your heart and stay there and this is one of them. From book 1, this has been an excellent story that gets better with each book. I love these characters and their world.
Addie's story just keeps getting better and better. The suspense, the quick wit, love and camaraderie. After inheriting a lake house from the father that abandoned her, Addie quickly realizes their is an unsolved murder she has to solve. With the help of the gang, they not only solve the case but become even closer.
Hidden Secrets begins when Addie learns about her father, and why he stayed away. This opens up a whole new mystery and now the gang must do what they can in order to figure it out before it is too late.
This book was another good one in the series, and I really enjoyed learning more about Addie and her family. I thought it was great!
... and my favorite series continues!!! I wont add any spoilers, but I'll be happy to say that this book was longer than the other two, so I had a few more hours to enjoy it. I JUST LOVE THESE PEOPLE! Oh, and I need a Danny. :)

I really enjoyed reading this book with how each friendship is different and how Addie uses her abilities anyone who enjoys reading about mysteries will also enjoy this book
I enjoy this series. The mystery, adventure and storyline with the crew. Love Addie and her friends. You never know what happens and the responses to the questions. Look forward to reading more. 😁
I am really enjoying these stories, as Addie's understanding of her gift grows and her friends and family support her. I love the characters and the storylines are great as well
This is progressing at just the right speed not slow and not fast to where it doesn't make sense. The characters are evolving into amazing people I could relate too. The relationships are getting complex and we are seeing intricacies of how she deals with her abilities and them. This is a great addition
