The most explicit yuri I've ever read, they're not usually this raw.

I've only skimmed this book real quick, so this won't be a detailed review. I just want to warn and better inform people so they know what they're getting.
First thing: This is porn! Like, straight up explicit hentai. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's not super apparent from the description or the cover, so it wasn't what I was expecting. I was expecting something softer like most other Yuri manga out there, but no, this one has a lot of really explicit sex scenes in it. This wouldn't be a huge issue on its own.
The biggest issue is that the characters all look really young. The book comes with a disclaimer that all the characters are 18+, but that just feels like something to protect the publisher from any legal issues. The book tries really hard to avoid ever mentioning the age of any character, but the setting for most or all of the stories in this anthology is obviously a high school setting, down to the Japanese high school uniforms, and all the characters look really young, some more so than others. To me, it's clear from the story and context that some or most of the characters are intended to be under 18.
So you've got a book all about young high school girls, with really explicit sex scenes between them. It made me feel incredibly icky and uncomfortable. I only read a few pages(it starts out with some light, fluffy romance before getting explicit), and then quickly flipped through some of the rest to see if the whole book was like that, and from what I could tell it was.
I could mention some of the positive aspects like the pretty art, and if I were to rate it based on that, it could get a higher rating. But that feels completely irrelevant when this is like one step away from being child pornography.
I honestly can't believe this actually got published and was available in my local book store.

Ending this year with a bang, I decided my 69th book to be an anthology of Yuri hentai one-shots. Being hentai, branded as hentai, marketed as hentai and sold on a website that I've used as one of my cum hubs since childhood, I thought this book would be a quick cum and go situation, but I came away pleasantly surprised.
These stories have sex scenes taking up a significant chunk, if not the majority of the work. Despite that, the way the mangaka manages to convey the nuances and the domestic realities of sex, especially within the conventions of the Yuri genre, gave these things a fluffy, almost slice-of-life feel. In terms of plot, there is none to speak of. In each story, you can see girls doing warm girl things with each other, whether that be a date, kissing and making up, or to kiss kiss fall in love. However, these short stories are character studies that show the characters at their most vulnerable, their most intimate. These are the only glimpses we will ever get to see of these characters, and it is impressive how much the author manages to show about a character in how they do what they do and who.
I sadly haven't read enough hentai to judge if this is a masterwork of the genre, but it is certainly up there. To quote one of history's greatest queers, I came, I saw, I came.
