Cain's in love with his best friend's brother. That's just one of his secrets. He feels like he's keeping them from everyone. Nick doesn't know he's got feelings for him. Probably. His family and friends don't know he makes porn. Definitely. And his fellow porn stars don't know he's a geek. Yet. Nick's got his own secret. A kinky one that really doesn't mesh with a career in law. He guards it closely and has no intention of revealing it to anyone. Especially not to his little brother's best friend, no matter how much misplaced hero worship he might throw his way. An eye-opening party causes a rift between the two men making an upcoming family wedding decidedly awkward. Cain giving up might just coincide with Nick realizing he's not quite as immune to Cain's charms as he thought. Can they ever be on the same page? And even if they were Cain would run a mile if he found out what Nick's hiding. Wouldn't he? Maybe both men have a surprise coming.

4.5 stars Gahh a great mix of sexiness, eagerness, and adorableness (yah it’s not a word but it looks awesome)
Cain adores Nick, his best friend's older brother, from when he was fourteen. Nick only sees him as his brother’s best friend, nothing more. He knows Cain follows him like a puppy with hearts in his eyes. But he’s still little Cain for him. Until everything changes. Nick doesn’t do relationships well, he has some particular preferences and those didn’t do well with the guys he met. Cain has a secret hot af job and can’t find a way to tell Theo his best friend. Until Nick finds out.
Cain tries to get over Nick after all these years, he understands it will never be. Nick can’t get Cain out of his head. He doesn’t handle it well.
Oh dear, this was a delicious story, hot af, with just the right mix of misunderstandings, hot encounters, comfort, awkwardness, and love.
Strong, fast-paced and entertainingly written story. Delightful characters, endearing at times, witty, angry and jealous. One with deep-rooted feelings and the other head over heels. I loved this one!
What a fun, flirty, sexy book. Just perfect to take us away from the times we currently find ourselves in.
Buttoned up lawyer, the best friend's brother, and EagerBoyz hunky porn star, also geek and gamer, Cain have a slow burn romance. Cain has had it bad for Nick for a decade and he's twenty-four now. Seems like now is the time for a change. Right?
If you'd like to be transported for a few hours, then this book, this series, offers you a lot to enjoy. Including -
A story that flowed well with an easy writing style Nice characters You do not have to have read book #1 Eager for You as this really is a standalone A bit of fetish that a few in the genre enjoy reading, I know I do Sexy times A happy ending
This is an awesome read with nice and down to earth characters that are well developed and an interesting story. Its a fast read with a nice flow and no cheating involved, so dont be afraid to pick it up because of Cains job ;)
This book was both smile inducing and maddening. I don't see what was so terrible about either guy's secret. I found Nick to be a little tiring with his conflicting emotions. He could have used more work as a character.
I really enjoyed this book. Cain has had a crush on his best friend’s brother for years, but Nick has never really seemed to notice Cain. Cain works for a porn studio and likes what he does, but hasn’t told any of his friends or family what his job is. When they have a studio party one night, Nick shows up with his best friend and is shocked to see Cain at the party and in the pictures on the wall. There is so much sexual tension between these guys over the next couple of weeks, but when they finally both realize they are interested and go for it, their chemistry is also amazing. I liked these guys together. There were a couple of kinks to work out, one around communication, but when they did, they were really solid. I liked reading about these guys and am interested in the rest of the series and those characters.
I am voluntarily reviewing an ARC provided by the author
I have not read the other books in this series, and I had no problem enjoying this story. The characters are fairly well developed, and the storyline flows nicely.
Cain grew up gaming with his best friend Theo, and following Theo's older brother, Nick, around like a lovesick pup. Ten years later and the crush is still at the forefront of Cain's mind, even though Theo tells him it won't happen, and he very rarely sees Nick. But, when he does, he's still "squirt," letting him know he's still seen as Nick's little brother's best friend. But, no one knows what Cain has been doing to earn extra money, and at least for the time being, he plans to keep it that way.
Nick is a top notch attorney, but his insecurities have kept him alone for a while. Only his outgoing socialite friend, Bailey, knows his deepest secret; well, him and the two ex boyfriends he trusted enough to expose his truth to, only for it to be too much for each of them. When Bailey drags Nick to an anniversary party for an adult film company, he never expected that the one man who caught his eye would turn out to be Cain.
I have to admit, I wanted to give Nick a piece of my mind multiple times throughout this book. So did Cain, right up until he came face to face with Nick's most hidden desire...then things ignited. Unfortunately, Nick has a way of overthinking, overanalyzing, and doubting himself into the doghouse. Cain was very forgiving, but he retained some of his stubborn ways as well.
Once they both figure out what they want from the relationship, they have to face reality. Amusingly, against Cain's wishes, Nick has kept the fact that they've been seeing each other quiet; that is, until they finally get their act together... Somewhere besides one of their places. Overall, even though it was frustrating, getting to see Nick feel better about himself made the story okay by me.
Happy reading!
* I received an ARC of this book and I am leaving my honest review. *
Little to no errors in this book. There were likeable moments and I did like Theo. I have to say though that I just didn't really like Nick. This guy is completely oblivious to basically everything and is also pretty dumb. How is he a lawyer? And on the flipside, Cain just forgives him for hurting him multiple times. Were they big issues? I feel like they are. I think that ending was nice but couldn't really find it in me to care.
Damn, I love HL Day's Eager for More. The second book in the EagerBoyz series, it's absolutely delicious. If you like brother's best friend romances, this is a must read!
Cain has long crushed on his best friend's brother, Nick. Heck, he basically followed him around with hearts in his eyes. But this Cain is certainly not the one Nick remembers as that little kid.
Both men have been living with secrets they think will make it impossible for them to find someone who accepts them. Cain's a porn star. Nick likes to wear lace panties. They're both full of fear and doubts, insecurities and hesitations. And as for the conflict and light angst, it's very well done. Nothing seems forced or unrealistic, making it natural in it's development.
Dear lord, I love this book. The writing is great, the story line sweet and sexy, and the chemistry is off the charts. Add in the kinky panties, and I couldn't love this book more.
There are also some wonderful side characters. Bailey is fantastic and completely lovable. There are plenty of intriguing characters who I can't wait to read about in the future.
Despite being part of a series, it's easily read as a standalone. Now excuse me while I go off and devour the first book!
Eager for More is a story of finding someone who excepts you for who you are and what you like. And, damn, this HL Day tale is steamy and satisfying. Adding it to my re-read list right now!
Nick, you saucy, dirty kinkster! Who would of guessed that you, the uptight lawyer, were hiding such naughty, delicious secrets in your drawers? Certainly not Cain! Although, Cain did hide something big of his own...
And when these two men discover each other's secrets? Talk about scorching passion! Admittedly, I was not a fan of Nick on more than one occasion, and if I were in Cain's shoes I'd of literally kicked his backside to the curb, or at least made him stew for a bit longer... Nick WAS pretty good at groveling, though, and I definitely understood why Cain couldn't resist him.
Reading their story was a lot of fun, and incredibly sweet to see Cain and Nick finally find what they always dreamed of with each other. Also, I absolutely adored Bailey and Theo. I think Bailey is next in the series, but I hope Theo can have his own book, too.
Another great addition to the series. Cain has been in love with his best friends brother for years, but Nick just sees him as a friend. An unexpected encounter has Nick opening his eyes to a completely different image of Cain. What follows is sizzling chemistry between them as Cain discovers a kinky side to Nick's uptight appearance that has him begging for more despite Nick's fear of rejection. They're both harboring secrets and lies and multiple times throughout the book I just wanted to grab hold if them and shake some sense into both of them. Their mutual lack of communication lead to so many problems that could have easily been resolved by simply talking instead of running at the first sign of trouble. There were plenty of humorous moments alongside getting to know the rest of the cast of characters. I'm definitely looking forward to more from this series.
this book, this series has been so entertaining so far. the laughs at some of the situations have been so funny. This one is porn star in love with best friends older brother. Well let's just say when said brother finds out about the porn....well lol
A very enjoyable read, from start to finish it take you down a path. It give you many emotions. And keep you hooked. I don't give spoilers because I feel it take way from the enjoyment of the book. So read this book enjoy it like I did.
Eager for More is the second standalone in the author’s Eagerboyz series which is built around a gay porn company. Though it took me a bit out of my comfort zone with its manties kink, I would call it low on the kink scale because it didn’t overshadow the romance storyline. Overall, I found this best friend’s brother romance to be a fun read with loads of heat.
I quite liked the angle of Cain growing up lusting after Nick. It fueled tension and sparks right from the start and made the speed of their relationship and feelings feel more plausible. I also enjoyed how well these two fit, specifically in the areas each man was overly self-conscious of. There were definitely bobbles, many due to miscommunication or lack of communication, but they didn’t prove as frustrating as those scenarios often can be. Instead, I found this to be an easy, enjoyable read that offered up a good dose of heat, great characters, and some teasers of stories/ characters I can’t wait to read more about.
*eARC received via author. The author had no influence over this review*
To begin, this book had no plot or character development. Nick and Cain were so similar I continually got them confused. The entire plot was that Nick was self-conscious about his underwear and Cain was self-conscious about his porn. Yes, it is as stupid as it sounds.
I think the book was trying to be deep and deal with toxic masculinity or something, but it really didn’t come across that way. Plus, the writing really wasn’t that good, the sex wasn’t really that hot, and the characters weren’t really that compelling. The whole book was a mess.
This book wasn’t really my thing. The entire time I couldn’t wait for it to be over. Definitely don’t recommend.
Eh... I definitely didn't like this as much as the first two in this series. I'm just not a huge fan of extended lack of communication & misunderstanding as a plot point, and while I'm theoretically always down with the possessive boyfriend who doesn't like to share trope, Nick's reaction to Cain continuing his porn career was both yawn-inducingly predictable and just a hair too close to sex-worker shaming for my taste. It looks like the author chose not to continue the series as I'm coming to it a few years after this one was published, and I'm honestly fine with that.

Cain is a well loved porn star. A job he took so that he could help pay his way through college and he wouldn't be saddled with huge student debt. His best friend Theo has an older brother Nick who Cain has been crushing on for 10 years. Nick does not see Cain as anything other than his brothers friend. When Nick is talked into going to a meet-and-greet-the-pornstars party, he sees a man who interests him from afar. As he gets closer he is shocked to realize the pornstar is Cain. At first he is quite judgey and patronizing with him. But he can't help thinking about how hot Cain looked at the party. And Cain of course is thinking 10 years has been long enough for a crush and he's going to make a relationship or even just sex between them happen and soon! Nick has a secret manties obsession which Cain accidentally discovers in quite a hot little scene, and this sparks off their affair. A good easy satisfying read.
I have not read book 1 & I did not feel lost, I also will be going back & reading it. I really liked both Cain & Nick. The only real issue I had is when Cain gets mad at Nick because Nick gets mad when Cain states that he is going back to work. Nick knows he does porn & what, you just get mad instead of having a conversation with him? I loved Nick's secret, so hot. Cain has had a crush on Nick since he was a teen. Nick has only seen him as his brother's best friend. When Nick is dragged to an adult party and he see's Cain in a different light, he stops seeing him as just a kid and starts see him as the grown man he is. These two were very hot together. There were times that I wanted to smack both of them & tell them just communicate!
ARC provided by the author in exchange for an honest review.
Cain and Nick had me equally happy and frustrated. I'll admit, Nick had his moments where I wanted to smack him, but seeing him work through his own insecurities and fears, and the spectacular grovelling he could do, won me over. I love the theme of secrets in the EagerBoyz series so far, and this one, with Nick's deliciously kinky secret on top of Cain's, had me completely hooked. Getting to the place where they discover each other's secrets was exciting, and when they reach it, there is some scorching hot fun to be had. I also may have fallen a little bit in love with the side characters in this instalment (Bailey in particular), and I so hope we get more of these guys soon!
I was lucky enough to read an ARC of this terrific book. I loved Cain and Nick, who sometimes frustrated me as much as they did each other. These two were sexy and unsure in the best of ways, and their road to happiness was only as bumpy as they made it. I laughed several times as I read, and I smiled a lot. This was a terrific entry in the EagerBoyz series, and I am already looking forward to the next installment.
Great best friend’s brother romance, Cain has always had a thing for Nick his best friend’s brother but Nick has never seen him that way. A chance meeting on a night out changes things for Nick and he starts to see Cain a little differently.
I really enjoyed the evolvement of their relationship, navigating it all with the big secrets they were keeping.
Eager for More is an easy to read addition to Ms Day's EagerBoyz series. This is a fast paced, funny, entertaining story. It's well written book with enough conflicts, mis-communication and hotness to keep you turning the pages. So, if you looking for an easy to read series, I highly recommend Eager for You and Eager for More
No spoilers of any kind included. I thought Eager For More was pretty dang awesome and that’s all I’m going to say about it. H.L. Day is a very talented story weaver because I am definitely going to be a reading more of her work in the future. So if you are looking for my advice about this book well my advice would be get it because I can honestly guarantee you will love it.
This was such a fantastic, grab-you-by-the-feels, sweet, engaging, endearing, delightful, sexy, slightly kinky, frustrating, amazing, emotionally charged, definitely different, and totally awesome story. It had me hooked from beginning to end, and I can't wait to see what happens next.
The book is full of put your foot in your mouth. Worst apologizing ever. And still cute and fluffy in the same time. And Omg!!! The end, please tell me that the lil bro will have a bi-awaking or gay awaking at this party.... If so I need that book yesterday. Pleaaaaase.
