I'm an anthropologist and writer of adventure thrillers. I set odd and quirky characters down in unusual places, wind them up and watch what they do. Take a look at my Max Donovan adventure series, and tell me what you think.

Very engaging. Not at all surprising that the author is a cultural anthropologist and international educator. The context in which the novel takes place is a dead give away. Nolan has obviously had experiences in these type of remote settings. I enjoyed the novel and truly have become an advocate of its essential characters--Max, Sam. and Freddie.
