This was like settling down with an old friend. I’d missed wildwood and its coven of witches and this was perfect. We are now at stormwood after book three but taken back to wildwood and Kolfinnia’s childhood and lessons learnt along the way while growing up. I really liked the philosophy that was in this book and to see it through the young eyes of the witches that we had come to know in the previous three books. My only gripe is that whoever edited this need to be more careful as there was few times where there were grammar and spelling errors but the story was so good that it can be forgiven. And the best thing was at end we get to see an extract for book five, destroying angel which i hope isn’t too long coming out as i need it now! If you haven’t discovered this fantasy series yet, where have you been, if the planet and nature are your thing with magic and adventure thrown in then this is for you. I can’t praise this author highly enough.
