Recreating images of little creatures in their natural environment, this children’s poem evokes the tender, warm feelings associated with home. Lyrical words and rich, lively scenes brim with innocent childhood fun and imaginatively evoke home’s comfortable and inspiring qualities. Intended to stimulate imagination in children, the simple and minimalist lines—with just more than 100 words—are songlike in their richness of rhythm and meter.

I'm not a big fan of anthropomorphizing things, and not when it's done poorly. Except for the part about the wind, the rest of the book was ok.
