Harmony
Sixteen months ago, I had a drunken one-night stand.
Now I have a seven-month-old daughter.
Her father doesn’t know she exists.
He’s not the kind of guy who would ever step up to the plate.
But I have a problem.
My overbearing parents see me as an unfit mother.
When I discover they plan on taking my baby away, only one person can help me.
Ford.
I hope he can forgive me for keeping our baby a secret.

Ford
I wouldn’t say I’m a commitment-phobe.
I just don’t to do long term.
But when Harmony Mitchell shows up holding a baby who’s unmistakably mine, my mindset changes.
Too bad the sexy hotel heiress sees me as a loser and a deadbeat dad.
I’ll do whatever it takes to prove her wrong.
Even if that means turning what was supposed to be one-night into forever.

Ford’s book is part 3 in the Broadaxe Security Series. It can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. If you enjoy alpha males who don’t take life too seriously, heroines who can laugh at themselves, and steamy short romance stories that will make you smile, then you’ll love Ford and Harmony’s journey to finding love.

FORD is the third book in Cora York’s Broadaxe Security series and was absolutely worth the wait. As much as I have loved this entire series, Ford is definitely my favourite, sexy bad boy so far.

After a hot and heavy night of passion following his partner’s wedding; Ford (the love em` and leave em` playboy) and Harmony (the bitter, narcissistic, one-night stand only girl) part company never expecting to cross paths again. And all would have gone to plan if Harmony hadn’t been left with more than just memories after they set the sheets on fire.

Faced with the fear of losing the most precious gift she has ever received, Harmony is forced to seek Ford’s help and reveal the secret she has guarded since their last encounter, 16 months earlier. When Harmony arrives at his office, Ford is instantly reminded why he has never been able to erase this fiery woman from his mind and the longing that has lasted for over a year. But the insta-love he experiences, isn’t for the opinionated and stubborn woman standing before him; it’s the precious bundle that she holds in her arms that captivates and steals his heart.

There is so much I can say about this story, but to keep it simple; Ford is adorable! So, if you only allow yourself one random read this year, make sure to one click Ford. A short story with a wealth of family drama, sizzling attraction and a man who discovers a love for someone he was never destined to know. Nothing is as heart-warming as a man besotted by his adorable baby.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "FORD" (BROADAXE SECURITY) Cora Ford you did a fantastic job writing this intriguing storyline full of heartache, betrayal, secrets, lies, humor, passion, crazy momzilla mother, blackmail, forced arrange marriages, family dysfunction at its worst.
Harmony and Ford hook up at her brother Carter and Aly's wedding a forced arranged marriage they hated one another, something she never ever wanted a one night stand before she left for Bali to go back packing was all Harmony was interested in.
Harmony got a special surprise from her scorching hot one night stand with Ford when she finds out her parents put a PI on her to get info that she was an unfit mother and was going to see Ford to get him to sign his rights away for his daughter Charli who he knew nothing about.
Harmony raced to see Ford before her parents to get his help he'd tried to find to her but she ghosted him after their one night the shock on his face when she walked in with his baby and asked him to tell her parents they were together he couldn't believe her after what she did.
This was such a great read I loved Ford and Harmony you felt sorry for everything she'd been put through all her life her mother was a real piece of work and her father the Senator not much better she'd been starved to be loved and only wanted to marry the man she loved and who loved her.
I definitely recommend to get this book so much heartache and drama you are pulled right into this story from the first page to the end so well worth the read I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Harmony has been raised by a cold, unloving family where appearances mean everything. Arranged marriages to people they can’t stand never mind love are the norm. She has run away from this once, travelling the world a creating a successful blog that she has turned into a business and income. The story begins at her brothers wedding reception. Harmony is approached by Ford, a good looking businessman that enjoys one night stands with no commitment issues. When he meets Harmony he knows she’s different, but after one amazing night of passion, she ghosts him completely. But he never forgets her. Fast forward a few months and Harmony has recently returned to New York, with her daughter Charlotte. They are enjoying a day at the park when she discovers that a PI has been following her, trying to find evidence that she is a bad mother to draw her back under her family’s control. Her parents are also about to meet up with Ford, and have him sign away his parental rights, after doing the maths and figuring out that he is her baby’s father. Harmony races to Ford’s office, to meet up with him before her parents arrival. He is shocked to find the woman that he never forgot, disheveled at his office reception with a baby in tow that he knew nothing about. In a showdown with Harmony’s parents, he tells them that they are together and so begins a rollercoaster whirlwind that is entertaining throughout. This is a great read with interesting characters and a great plot. Absolutely loved it :-)

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the story of Ford and Harmony. They had a one night stand at her brother's wedding and then Harmony disappeared. Ford would have liked to see her again, but he had no way of finding her. Harmony left the country and wanted to distance herself from her family and when she had a baby, she refused to tell her family who the father was. Now Harmony;s parents are having her followed and trying to find proof she is unfit so they can take her daughter. This leaves Harmony no choice but to go to Ford when she learns her family know he is the baby's father. Ford had no idea he had a daughter and found out moments before he was supposed to meet Harmony's father. Ford thought the meeting was about hiring his firm for more security, but they were going to tell him about the baby. Harmony begged Ford for help and he had to decide if he could forgive Harmony for hiding the baby from him and if he could lie to her parents. I loved this book. I loved Ford. He was a good guy, but he never thought he would have a family. I think Ford and Harmony were great together. I loved how Ford loved the baby from the moment he saw her. good one.

ONE FANTASTIC SWEET TREAT!!!
Breathtaking! Cora presents one unbelievable, heart pounding, pulse racing, sweet treat that hits the right spot every time, blazing this baby to life brilliantly. A raging tempest thrusts those swirling emotions into a tizzy with outstanding, fun-filled results. Sparks fly as drama, intrigue, secrets, betrayal, blackmail and mounting suspense, along with a boatload of alpha male deliciousness, you have one mind-blowing adventure. Highlighting engaging, well rounded scenario's ramping up the exuberance and adrenaline with such intensity, testing our characters in ways they could have never anticipated. The attraction and chemistry sizzles, alluring and mesmerizing, binding them together perfectly. The characters are authentic and realistic with depth and qualities that transform into amazing personalities. The scenes are so abundantly detailed and descriptive to give you a full understanding and realism that balance and blend smoothly. Magnificent job Cora, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.

This is the third book in this fun series and I have loved them all This is Ford and Harmony's story

Harmony first met Ford at her brothers wedding him and his bride hate one another but their marriage is a business estrangement something that she swears she will never do. The attraction between Ford and her is off the charts and they have a wonderful night together . The next day Harmony sets off on a backpacking trip and Ford returns to Broadaxe Security. What he doesn't know is that Harmony is pregnant with his daughter something she has no intention of ever letting him know That is until her parents try to declare her as a unfit mother and take her daughter. She knows he is the only one that can help her keep their daughter but will he forgive her for keeping Charlie a secret from him. With her parents wanting him to sign away his parental rights he will have to fight for not only his daughter but also the woman he realises he loves.

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion. This is a short romance involving what happens when a one night stand goes completely left field.

“It’s me,” Ford whispered.
“I was expecting Bradley Cooper,” I whispered back, “but I guess you’ll do.”

This was a fun short romance where two people are forced together by babies but still manage to find love and connection. It’s enjoyable, but short and sweet.

What did I like? Ford and Harmony definitely have chemistry since they managed to get pregnant by a one night relationship. Harmony though goes to Ford because her parents are threatening to take the baby.

Would I recommend or buy? If your into the series, then this is a recommend. Or short stories based on romance. It’s just a straight forward novella that involves babies and drama.

Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on your new release, I gave it four stars but I think it would be best read along with the series.

Harmony met Ford at her brothers wedding it was a farce a business transaction the bride and the groom hate each other, Harmony hates her family they act perfect they were fooling everyone and when her mother tried to get Harmony to marry a British Duke Harmony ran backpacking all over the world that had started her travel log and influencer business. Harmony told Ford to keep the shots coming then she took him back to her room it’s only a drunken hookup but Ford isn’t her one. 16 months later Harmony is playing with her daughter she has cut her family out of her life because her mother threatened to get a DNA on her daughter Charli plus she hasn’t told Ford because Harmony believes that he would look at Charli as an inconvenience and she doesn’t want that for her daughter. Wow what an amazing story I loved it and I highly recommend this book it’s definitely well worth the read.

Cuddle Monster

This is the third book in the "Broadaxe Security" series. While it can be read as a stand-alone, I suggest that you read book two "Axel" first. The main characters first introduction to each other is in that story and will enhance the reading of this book. Ford is the last single man in the company He is happy with that fact and has no plans of settling down. Harmony is trying to live her life her way not the way her parents want. The one night she shared with Ford was all it was supposed to be. Unfortunately that night is about to come back and cause major problems. Why? I won't give away all the answers but will say that it revolves around Harmony's controlling parents and a precious little Cuddle Monster

I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book.

This is the third book in the Broadaxe Security series, it can be read as a standalone story, no cliffhangers and a delightful HEA. This book is fast-paced and well-written. Really quick to read. Wonderful!!

Ford and Harmony get together at her brothers wedding, after she leaves and ghosts him without a word, thinking it is only one night, she's left with a surprise bundle. Now, several months later she turns up with her bundle needing his help so her parents can't get hold of little Charli.
Now, they are a team against the world to protect Charli and discover that their chemistry is still sizzling and that their feelings have grown. Can they have a HEA?

This is a perfect story if you have a little time to read, but want a book that has it all. Novella in length, the story has fleshed out characters, family drama and a great romance. Harmony is from an influential family that shows a perfect face to the world, but underneath it's all fake. After a one night stand, she finds herself with a baby and doesn't want to tell Ford about it until her choice is taken away. They pretend to be a couple until it all becomes real. The story and main characters are engaging and drew me in from page one. Harmony showed a lot of strength in breaking away from her family and living her life on her terms.

Ford: Broadaxe Security Book 3 is the tale of Ford and Harmony finding love from a one night stand at a wedding. I love the twist and turns the story takes; it make the story engaging. The characters are very lovable and real. I read this from start to finish, I could not put it down! The story is steamy with a happy ending. This is my first time reading a book by Cora York and I love her writing style! I am looking forward to reading the stories of the other characters in the Broadaxe Security series!

When Harmony finds out that her parents want to take her daughter away from her by saying she is an unfit mother she does the only thing she can. When she shows up at Fords office with a baby girl that he can not deny as his and telling him he has to pretend they are together to protect their daughter Charli from her parents he is shocked. Before she can explain more they are at his office. This is a great romance all the way through you wonder will they or will they not. I look forward for more from the author.

3.5 Stars. This was my first read by this author and I enjoyed her writing style. I found Harmony pretty selfish when it came to Ford. She ghosted him after their one night stand (not really a big deal but should be noted), made up a bunch of justifications in her mind of why she couldn’t tell Ford she was pregnant, shows up at his office to spring the baby on him while immediately forcing him to lie to her parents, and then gets angry at him for not putting on a flawless performance at which point Ford is mad at HIMSELF for “messing up”. I empathize with her because her parents were a piece of work but... I really did like this overall though enough to read others in the series.

A quick and easy read. Medium heat level. The angst was a bit farfetched and I would have liked to experience the growth of the relationship and not just been told about it, but I did like the couple. Resolution felt too easy and more could have been done with the ending.

I did like the bit of humor the h expressed at inopportune moments. I have not read other books by this author, so I am not sure if this was a specific character trait or the author's personality shining through.

Ok

This was an ok read. I didn't like Harmony all that much. She's pretty selfish and self absorbed and runs off with 'her' baby multiple times without a care that the baby has a dad who cares.

This book got me hooked from the beginning Harmony is a sweet human being struggling to be a mom away from her parents. She goes to Ford when it is clear her parents want something from her. An arrangement that turns into love and finding a family.

Ford is quick and hot! I love this author’s books because they are perfect to read in one sitting. Harmony and Ford have a one-night stand and they go on with their lives. At least that’s what we think. Her parents will force them to meet again and join forces to become the perfect family.

I like that we get updates from previous couples, but Ford can be read as a standalone. It’s told in dual points of view, so you know what our couple is thinking. Love this story so much!

Cool!

You have an idea, from Axel's book, what Ford's story is going to be like. Yet, how it unfolds, is so intriguing! There was a lot to like about this book, but I really enjoyed the part where Ford finds out he's a dad! It was a cool reveal!

I kinda love Ford. He was a pretty stand-up guy all things considered. Harmony wasn’t expecting anything but got exactly what she needed. Very fun and funny at times. Love the short read. Already looking for more by this author.
