He wants to prove to his brothers that he's not broken. She just wants him. Will a fake marriage heal him or push her further away?
Jeremiah Walker moved to Three Rivers three years ago with one rule: No women. Period. The end.
He doesn't need to be left at the altar again, and his heart bears some deep wounds that still affect him. But he's watched three of his brothers find someone to love, and even he can admit that his love of ranching and cooking can only take him so far.
Meanwhile, Whitney Wilde will not leave him alone about shooting out at Seven Sons Ranch. The photographer has talent, sure. She also has perfectly kissable red lips that haunt Jeremiah in his quiet moments.
Whitney shoots brides to pay the bills, but what she really wants to do is an obscure type of baby photography she hasn't told anyone about. She has a website under a fake name, and she swears all of her clients to secrecy. She's as attracted to the drop-dead gorgeous cowboy as she is annoyed by his refusal to let her onto his property.
Doesn't mean she's going to give up.
And when Jeremiah calls with a favor of his own? Whitney isn't sure if she should laugh at him the way he has her so many times or jump at the chance to become his bogus bride. As they spend more time together on and off the ranch, Whitney will have to decide if she can open up to him and tell him where her true love lies. And Jeremiah will have to tell her all about those scars on his heart... Will a fake marriage be the thing to heal his heart and bring them closer together? Or will he be left at the proverbial altar again?

Jeremiah and Whitney's everlasting love story was sweet and heartwarming to read about. Another great story from from Liz Isaacson, i can't wait to read Wyatt's book.
I aborted reading this novel after reading about 17% of the story. I chose this story because I have enjoyed reading Liz Isaacson’s works in the past and the Amazon writeup was intriguing; however, I was greatly disappointed with this work. In the write-up on Amazon, there was no indication as to whether or not this novel is a stand-alone work. I now highly recommend that if readers elect to read this series, they should read the stories in sequence. I believe that will be the easiest way to keep the characters straight when they read this series.
In this instance, the author introduced over thirty characters in the first 17% of the book. In most instances, there was no actual introduction of the character except by name. Even though I created a character list as I read, I found it a near-impossible task to keep the flow of the story straight in my mind because the characters were poorly introduced. I can only assume that character development took place in the earlier books since this is the fourth book in the series. Consequently, the author gets an “F” from me in character development along with a two-star award for this story.
This book is a sure winner for the Romance genre. It is the story of Jeremiah Walker and Whitney Wilde. Jeremiah's brothers believe he is a broken man who never recovered from being stood up at the altar. While that may be true, it hurts to know that his family sees him that way. Whitney's heart on the other hand, has been holding on to a relationship that is both stagnant and unrewarding. These 2 people don't understand it, but feel drawn to each other as they learn to handle the emotions that are being dredged up. How they get from point A (New Year's Eve parade) to point B (HEA) is a wonderful story and is interwoven with all 6 of the other Walker brothers, their wives and children. This novel reads as a standalone. Even if you haven't read the previous books in this series, the author provides enough background that you easily follow the story. This book will have you saying "Merry Christmas" with a smile on your face!

Jeremiah’s Bogus Bride is book 4 in the Seven Son’s Ranch series by Liz Isaacson. This story is about Jeremiah Walker who has sworn off women after being left at the altar a few years ago and Whitney Wilde, photographer who wants to shoot wedding photos from the Seven Sons Ranch. Can these two find their ways through the secrets, past hurts, scars of the heart and come out the other side as a married couple or will someone be left at the altar again??
The narrator in this is just priceless! I love how she says, "Jer-a-mi-ah" with a wonderful Texas drawl. It's a sweet romance. He wants to prove to his brothers that he's not broken. She just wants him. Will a fake marriage heal him or push her further away?

Oh Jeremiah! I was rooting for Jeremiah's happy ending so much that I am currently writing the review for this 4th book before any of the others. I am super into this series and have practically moved to Texas at this point because of it. I really love how interwoven the stories of the brothers are throughout each of these books. That does makes it harder to read them as stand alones and you will definitely want to read them in order. But they're so good that it's so worth the read. So start at book one and keep going.
I really enjoy the Christian faith component to these books. It's done so that it's obvious without being overly preachy or feels faked/forced. Liz Isaacson does such a good job of building the world and making you fall in love with the characters. Poor Jeremiah has been through so much heartache and has worked through such intense emotions throughout the series that I was so excited when I got to his story. And it didn't disappoint. Of course there's the moment of tension when you hit the climax of the book before the inevitable happily ever after.
When I read the first book, I loved the fake marriage trope the book had. When I realized all 7 books had that underlying theme, I was like uuhh won't that get boring? Spoiler alert, it doesn't! Turns out I absolutely adore it. On to book #5 to read about Wyatt and get updates on how the other couples are doing!
Jeremiah’s Bogus Bride: Christmas Brides for Billionaire Brothers: Seven Sons Ranch in Three Rivers Romance Book 4 is by Liz Isaacson. The series is getting somewhat repetitive in that along with Jeremiah’s story, you have the beginning of Wyatt’s story as well as the end of Liam’s story, which is repeated from his book. It would be much better not to have them combine if possible or to not repeat as much. A quick overview is not bad; but a chapter or two is a little much. Otherwise, the stories are cute and fun to read. It is interesting to see how the Walker boys are so inept with women when they have been around so many single ones in their lives. The rules they follow are those they have created themselves from their own past experiences with women and are not always well thought out. Jeremiah breaks his own pact when he is attracted to Whitney when he goes to the organic market to get his vegetables. This attraction comes to a head when she persists in trying to get him to let her shoot weddings on their land. She shot Tripp and Ivory’s wedding he liked those pictures as well as the one she did of Liam’s horse and the ranch. However, he resists her bringing others on the property. What will he do when he finds out she is Lake Waters, the woman who does baby pictures along with fruits and vegetable
Jeremiah's Bogus Bride takes us on a family reunion to Three Rivers to visit Seven Sons Ranch and Shining Star Ranch. Rhett, Evelyn, Conrad, Liam, Callie, Denise, Tripp, Ivory, Oliver, Micah, Wyatt, and, Jeremiah and Whitney Walker and Simone Foster are all there to greet us. In this story we pick up on Jeremiah and Whitney's courtship and marriage along with a new baby for Rhett and Evelyn, the news Liam and Callie were going to get them a little toddler to adopt and her new baby sister or brother soon, and two more announced that they were expectanting. This family just keeps growing. Wyatt has some bad news and his feelings for Marcy are all over the page. Micah moved back to Three Rivers and gets away from the toxic relationship he had in Temple so he can pick up what hopefully will be a new relationship in Three Rivers. Whitney has a surprise show up at the bakery in Three Rivers which causes problems between her and Jeremiah and sets the rumor mill going. The stress of all this helps cause Whittany to have a health scare and Jeremiah has to take her to the hospital. This story has all the romance, humor, hurt, and loss to give you all the feelings a good story needs. You will have the need several times for tissues, just saying.
Jeremiah isn't whole. He lost part of himself 4 years ago when Laura Ann left him standing at the altar. However, when he looked at Whitney, with those red lips taking his brother's wedding pictures, he hadn't been able to get her out of his head. Whitney has had a similar problem and started calling Jeremiah almost daily to see if he would change his mind about letting her do wedding shot's out at Seven Sons! Then she just ghosts him and he can't figure out what happened. Then he understands how she had to have felt when he did it to her. When he finally gets her to talk to him again he proposes something that he never expected to come out of his mouth! What does he propose? How does Whitney take it? What happens next? What's the reason for her ghosting him? You will need to read this great story by Liz Isaacson to find out. Boy what a great read it is!
This was a wonderful romance and interesting stories of Jeremiah's six brothers. Although the main subject of the story is Jeremiah it touches on all of the seven brothers. Jeremiah was left at the altar and has had a hard time handling it until he started seeing a therapist. As he has been getting better he had become friends with Whitney and then she ghosts him. Her on again , off again boyfriend came back to town and as always she went back to him. A few weeks later he is gone again. While Jeremiah is realizing how lonely he is Whitney is finding that Jeremiah means more to her than her old boyfriend. As their romance grows we learn about Jeremiah's brothers and their problems. It is a good read as the two battle their own fears to become a loving couple.
I’m pretty sure soulful and sweet were used to describe someone’s eyes in this story (Don’t quote this as fact.). Well, it’s a perfect description of this book! Jeremiah has been broken: his heart, his self-worth, and even a piece of his soul...his faith; after Laura Ann broke him when she left him standing at the alter. When Whitney “ghosts” him, he finds it hard to have faith in the possibility of a second chance at love. Can he really risk his heart on another woman who might not want him back? A story of finding the strength to believe God loves you and the strength to believe in yourself. A story that proves that you must love yourself and be vulnerable to love others with faith, before you can let someone else love you.
A romantic love story that will take your breath away, just like on a roller coaster ride.
Jeremiah is one of the Walker 7 brothers and most likely the reason they are all settled on the Seven Sons Ranch. Rhett bought the property to give them all a stable fresh start. The pack no women. Whitney a photographer that was relentless to get photos of brides on the ranch. She didn't know the secrets but she did know Jeremiah she couldn't forget. This story is filled with ups & downs but the end it's love that matters. V0, S1 a clean romance more reviews & opinions and sneak peaks @my2centsbook reviews. Thank you!
Finally, after book 2 I realized this entire series was based on the premise of marriage first, then love. This is such a powerful fun family that is united in ways I wish everyone is.
Jeremiah had huge problems as the series begins. It takes him several books to begin to see that life is good. But when he did, he did! (Except for one small blip)
There has been much thought and care put into the overall plot for this series and I simply love it. I just found Liz recently and I am reading her books like the Walkers make popcorn! If you want very enjoyable books with lest angst than most romances, dip in! You’ll be cool and content with this posse of brothers and their mates!
WOW!! This was an almost classic boy-meets-girl romance. Except, everything in their life stories hinge on the one true thing that got away!! "Jeremiah", written by Liz Isaacson is a story based on faith, fellowship, family, friendship, and everlasting love. These two characters, Jeremiah and Whitney, examine who they are, what they want, and how to get there. With trial, error, classic mistakes, as well as faith -- love can get a second chance. With everything they've been through, their faith their families -- they need the Savoir's love and mercy to get back on the right path. Can they do it once again?
I really loved Jeremiah Walker and his lovely Whitney Wilde. Watching each of them winning over the other over was wondrous to watch. Seeing the isolated, lonely and pained Jeremiah become the loving family man he's meant to be is a delight. Reading about all the interactions, mischief and love shared between the Walker brothers and Foster sisters is delightful. Although this is meant to be a fake marriage story, that is truly secondary to the true love that permeates this book.
Jeremiah wanted to prove to his brothers that he wasn't "broken" anymore. So he proposes to Whitney, who immediately accepts. They are a couple now, united in marriage, but not really. The path to recall love isn't always easy, and Jeremiah is shocked when he catches her kissing her ex-boyfriend in public. She tries to explain, but he is already gone. It takes a night away from each other for them to finally reach the point of trusting and truly uniting in love. This story has its twists and turns, but I loved the happy ending.
Another great story about the seven brothers trying to find true love. They had a pact when Rhett bought the ranch., but if failed. Rhett married, then Liam, then Tripp, now Jeremiah was lonely and tired of being alone. He decided to see a counselor when Wyatt told him he was just broken. He met Whitney Wylie. She was a photographer and made wedding picture. He kept having thoughts about this beautiful lady. You will enjoy this story, so don’t hesitate.
I’ve enjoyed several books in this series. The author Does a good job portraying the weaknesses and strengths of each character. I like how the family unit is so important as each of the brothers support each other as well. The only think I don’t like about these books is that they do jump from character to character and it can be hard to keep Up. I plan to read another book in this series soon. Happy reading!
That's what Jeremish's brother had said about him. He was tired of all his brothers thinking the same thing. Okay, so he has been when his intend had left him standing at the alter but he was better now. It was there years ago and he had gotten counseling to help. What had helped him to start feeling again was seeing Whitney Wilde. She was also healing his heart and helping to restore his faith in God.
Jeremiah’s Bogus Bride is a sweet Christian cowboy romance. This is part of the Seven Sons series and frankly it’s a bit silly that none of these men can make a real proposal to the woman they like. Some of the conflict seams forced, but it’s a sweet heartwarming story. I would recommend reading the previous books in the series first as they work better together.
When Jeremiah Walker askes Whitney Wilde to marry him he’s trying to prove to his brothers that he’s no longer broken. She’s a photographer and has a secret she must tell Jeremiah before the wedding which is close to happening. She agrees to the wedding so she can shoot brides at the beautiful Seven Son’s Ranch. A great book with a plot that features trust, love and healing brokenness from past relationships. Liz Isaacson is a talented story teller and this book shows her talent.
I was looking forward to checking out Jeremiah's story. He seemed the more complex of the Walker brothers. Watching him change and deal with trauma from his past was heartwarming. Seems are really humming for the brothers and this book updates on all even as it focuses on Jeremiah's happily ever after
This is another good book by Liz. I really like the Walker brothers. Rhett and Jeremiah are my favorites. I don't see Jeremiah as broken, hurt sure. But I see him as strong, kind, caring and a leader. I thoroughly enjoy reading about these brothers and their families. I can't wait to read more about their lives.
3 1/2 stars. A bit of a misnomer since she wasn't really bogus. They are really in love and happy together. Jeremiah has issues but Whitney appears to help. Sweet love story but too much about Wyatt since this is Jeremiah's story. A bit over the top with all the brothers having fake marriages.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Can a fake wedding really tell others that you are whole and not broken? Jeremiah wants to prove to his brothers that he's doing better. Whitney has secrets of her own. Can these two overcome any obstacle and possibly make their fake relationship into a real one? Find out in this fabulous book! I highly recommend it! Happy reading!
I like this series. These men certainly have big hearts. They learn to love and trust even after having shattered relationships. The family dynamics are incredible and they manage to pull together. Can't wait until Micah and Skylar find the women who are right for them. And I really hope Wyatt finds love and healing. Really love the faith this family has.
Another good book with great characters. Jeremiah was left at the altar during a large wedding. He is very angry and will trust no woman. Whitney has her own set of problems. They learn to trust and like/love each other after they get married. They are fun to watch working things out. Jeremiah finds help with a therapist
Is something that Jeremiah sees around him with his family, one of his brothers said he was broken. He decided to start seeing a counselor to help him. Maddie was a great photographer, but she also did baby pictures using fruits, vegetables and other things. Her family owns the organic grocery store. Can they be together.
I began reading this book late in the day and was enjoying it so much I went to bed and couldn't remain asleep because I needed to get to the end. This book made me feel good with the family dynamics and relationships and their hurdles. Now I must read all of the books in the series.
