Fix Sh*t Fast Guides are designed to be short, quick reads.

Y’know, like a few chapters long, which is why they are subtitled “F*cking Annoying Problems Solved In 15 Minutes Or Less”.

That’s kinda the whole point of them, because who’s got time to plow through 100 pages of dull crap, just to find out that the author doesn’t have a f*cking clue how to help you?

I don’t waste months writing a load of sh*t, and you don’t have to read a load of filler before you get to the solution to your problem, either.

So it's win - win!

Shortest booklet ever. I find it difficult to decide how to write about this effort. Apart from an enormous dose of swearing, there was very little scientific information. There was a mention of right vs. left fist clenching before and after learning and recalling information, the idea of stimulating one's olfactory nerves to trigger memory and the recommendation to listen to Mozart's Sonata in D for two pianos which is indeed a magnificent piece of art, there is no other content in this so called book. Of these three, only the fist clenching appears to be a somewhat new information, since for decades it was known that smells have an uncanny ability to help us recall a long-forgotten memory or that classical music stimulates your brain. I never knew that Gwyneth Paltrow writes and publishes books but I am sure she wouldn't appreciate the patronising comment you made about her readership. This book lacked adequate substance to enhance understanding of Neurobics as a concept and means of enhancing memory.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
