Sitting here on the beach, I could see my now useless glider plane, various bits of driftwood and debris, and a girl with long black hair, about 150 feet away. The girl was new. She hadn’t been there for the past three days the way that everything else had. I was sitting under a tree looking out at the ocean. It was probably the Pacific Ocean. I didn’t know for sure. When she got closer, she called out, but not loudly. It sounded something like, “Aquilala soma towatsina.” Or something like that. I didn’t understand a word of it. It was a nice language though. I liked the sound of it. She looked like some kind of cave girl, fur bikini and everything. If she didn’t try to kill me, maybe I’d at least have some company. This was weird. I was calmly accepting, and maybe actually embracing the idea that I was stranded on the edge of a jungle with no way home. Maybe there was a village with a telephone on the other side of the trees. In a way, I hoped not. I felt happy to see her, but not exactly excited. It wasn’t like I thought, “Oh my gosh, I’m rescued!” It was more like, “Hey, she’s kind of cute. Nice bikini. Nice tan too.” When she was about 50 feet away I stood up and stepped onto the sand.
I have read every book she has available on Amazon and enjoyed every one of them. This was no exception; loved it, couldn't read it fast enough and now I'm a bit sorry its over. The story itself in this book is pretty simple. Thats not what draws me in. Its the philosophy, the point of view, the ideas presented. And lots of great sex. A good bonk and a good conversation. Maybe not for everyone but I love it. This book really affected me for some reason. It's been almost therapuetic.
The story is a mess of no explanation on how the MC found him self in a strange world. I came to hate many of his choices like how he sabotage his plane from being found with idiotic reasoning or how he thought getting involved with the natives with no idea if he could’ve spread disease to/or from the native. They’s point show how bad world building destroyed the story progressive building.
There where several Hugh plot holes in the story such has the language bridge the Mc fell off of has I can not see him has a genius or the native to figure out each other languages that fast. An then there was the the explosion of his harem that it killed the story if felt like they where just throwing them selfs at him for the littlest reasons. If you came for a story avoid this if for erotica then skip 80-90 of the story for some cheesy R-rated content.
Another enjoyable tale from the mind of Marilyn Foxworthy
I eagerly await the next volume of this story and several of this authors other series Particularly Eevona space command and the next volume of the Nogud Legacy as well as the Honest attractions series The characters in these stories are engaging and very likeable at least to me and as long as this author continues writing I will keep reading her stories
Just started reading marilyn foxworthy books and have enjoyed all of them so far. A few editing errors here and there but not enough to detract from the story. Only thing I don’t like about this book is that it is the first one and now I have to wait for the next.
Reading this story, and each of your other stories, is a great fun time. The interaction and chemistry of the characters is not only entertaining but captivating as well.As each one grows, individually, they each grow together. Marilyn Fox worthy your stories are some of the best I've read, in my 72 years. Thank you!
Read this without expectations, prepare to be pleasantly surprised. This is not the story you expect That comes from living in the moment. Live for the one, stay for the Four.
Sooo slow and way too detailed. An editor is very needed to trim this down to size and make it easier to read. Cliche and bad writing abound in this attempt at soft poem sci fi
I really enjoyed this book. Not your usual read, I thought at first it would be interesting but end up just being about sex. Boy was I wrong. It went in many different directions but was easy to follow. I strongly recommend.
I have enjoyed this new adventure of man that found an island that time has not changed and the people there were from before and some were descend of sailors that wreak there.
It has some moments, but just didn't move enough for me.
I've been reading a lot of the author's work recently, I suspect as an escape from the more "serious" stuff I was reading before, and there are elements I like or I wouldn't keep doing it. There were however a couple of the most recent books that I gave up on and they don't show up here so I don't savage them in a review. This phase seems to be coming to an end, as I don't see the story progression I'm expecting after this many related books.
There are obvious character tie-ins happening (expanded in those other non-reviewed books) and this is an interesting world that really needs more emphasis on the tech and the apocalypse. The relationship stuff is well established at this point and can be pushed to the background to build the world (this one and Earth proper) and get more story moving.
I won't give up quite yet, but the next sequel or two will determine if I continue putting my time into the author's books. YMMV as always of course.
What happens if you take a man out of modern civilization and add four beautiful cave girls and a secret history?
Marilyn Foxworthy is one of my favorite authors of steamy adventures. The world building on the island is very well done. The language the islanders speak is a wonderful creation by the author.
A man from our world arrives on a lost primitive island. There he finds real and sexy adventures. Especially when he meets four outcast women. The hairy islanders are the norm. But the hero and his ladies are smooth, just like some mystical elder. Greats stuff!
The main character even finds time to consider who he really is, now that the distractions from the technological modern world has fallen away.
Ahhh Marilyn! Another wonderful story with adorable ladies and a storyline that is compelling! This new direction allows me to say truthfully that I have been inside Marilyn Foxworthy 's tunnel of love and I am overwhelmed by the things she shared with me there. I KNOW everyone who travels this path will discover what I did it they let themselves. Marilyn, I meant no disrespect, I have the highest regards for you and your amazing magick!
