A gripping analysis of the world's ten worst serial killers. They have been selected not simply because of their high 'body counts': these killers are the ones who have most terrified the communities on which they preyed, and in some cases changed the history of the nations in which they operated. This collection focuses solely on the true stories behind the very worst real-life serial killers from across the globe.
An easy read but with more detail than many similar books and focusing mainly on less well known serial killers (to me anyway - I was only familiar with 3 of the 10)
While there was info that was new to me and therefore interesting, the book as a whole was mostly written as if it was originally a high school paper. Many chapters were repetitive like they were trying to fill space rather than being fleshed out with an actual storyline. I’d advise skipping this one if you’re a true crime reader.
It's great for those who are interested in how serial killers terrorize the public with their horrifying acts of madness and murder. The names in the book are those that are for most of the time are being sidelined. It's good for the people to know that serial killers are not just confined to America and that they were everywhere and they look and behave like us.
