Don’t miss the sexy and exciting conclusion to M. S. Parker’s Manhattan Records series.
Nate: I made a mistake, thinking that I could be with someone like her. One glimpse of a part of me she didn’t like, and she ran. I’m not going to apologize for who I am. I had a life before I met her, and I’ll just go back to that life now. That will be best for everyone.
Ashlee: I had been a fool to trust him, to think that he was a better man than what everyone said. I didn’t need to be at Manhattan Records anymore. Making a clean break will be the best thing for both of us.
Nate Lexington and Ashlee Webb are trying their best to move on without each other, but neither one of them is able to forget how right they had felt together. If they’re willing to try again, however, will their relationship be able to survive the worst that has yet to come?

I loved this series from start to finish!!! It's hot, suspenseful, fast paced, dual pov's, and has a few twists too. It's a roller coaster ride of emotions, trials, and tribulations for the main characters! À must read!!!
Because of Nate’s former lascivious lifestyle, he and Ashlee are in a world of threatening negative media. Three of his former scorned women are bringing up false charges against him and Ashlee. In this era of the Me-too movements it could be catastrophic to him and his business if he can’t come up with proof against these untrue charges.
If I could give 3.5 stars I would... it’s good but lacked something
Don’t get wrong... I did enjoy this book and it had the makings of something great, but in all honesty it felt rushed in places.
Some good twists and some raunchy BDSM sexiness, but I finished the book thinking “Oh, is that it?” I felt, well, a little cheated. You wait right up until the end until they finally admit the depth of their feelings for each other and then it’s like... bang happily ever after. All just fell a little flat.
Nate and Ashlee were certainly a likeable couple. They really do play off it each other. Ashlee is so strong and forgiving. She really does see the best in every situation and even when faced with being targeted by Nate’s vengeful ex-lovers she still manages to maintain her dignity and incredible self control. Never once does her strength falter and she will do anything to protect those she loves... but especially Nate.
I would have liked another few chapters of Nate and Ashlee’s new found easiness around each other and some more of their playful banter.
The threat posed by Nate’s past becomes all too real and their vengeance is taken out on Ashlee in a more physical way. Not content with trying ruin Nate’s reputation and success, the conspiring ex’s turn on Ashlee by trying to defame her character and drive a wedge between the new couple. The reason... Ashlee has what no one else has ever been able to have... Nate’s heart. They can see how much she means to him and their jealousy leads them to criminal activities that if anything, pulls the couple close together instead of driving them apart.
I still love Finley. He’s a great character and a wise and much needed friend to Nate. Being Ashlee’s dad (apologies to anyone who hasn’t discovered this yet from the previous books) has given them both a vested interest... Ashlee’s happiness. They will do whatever they both can to keep her and her mum, Roberta safe and happy.
I suppose this story is more about building trust and learning to accept people and their past. Nate had always convinced himself that his lifestyle would inhibit his chances of ever finding love. He didn’t even really know what love was let alone allowed himself to dream that one day he would find it.
Once he gets over his selfish and self-deprecating thought processes, he starts to realise that not every situation demands his control and that sometimes letting someone else take care of him and his needs can be just as effective. Instead of jumping to conclusions and assumptions, Ashlee’s calming and more calculative approach to situations begins to run off on him and he finds that he’s becoming a better person the more that he allows Ashlee to influence him. You know when you are meant to be with someone when you better people together than you when you’re apart.
In general, it’s a good story and I did enjoy it, but I did feel it lacked something towards the end. I wanted more, but it just felt very abrupt. Would definitely like another story and these two.
Nate has a temper/mouth problem. He gets angry, opens his mouth and his temper explodes out. For the most part, he has managed to control this issue in business and his personal life. However since he has been associated with Ashlee, that control just keeps slipping away. With all this craziness stemming from his choices, he finds not only that he can’t protect Ashlee from it any more than himself.
Ashlee has been through some hard times. She and her Mom grew closer dealing with heartbreak, illness and hard times…together. She wants to have that same relationship with Nate but but he can’t seem to get the message and things just keep getting worse.
How are these two people going to make things work with surprising things keep popping up?
Great book full of surprising things that I personally never saw coming.
I read the three books in a reading frenzy. There was a lot of Past women in Nates life that impacted him both at the time of their liaison and many years afterwards.
As a result of his past his relationship with Ashley was rocky.
I felt Nate was a tad bit immature, insecure and had a very defensive personality. As a result he often lashed out at Ashley before getting all facts or calmly talking it thru. This became quite tedious and I rolled my eyes and in my head said again! I’m not sure I would have been as forgiving as Ashley.
I guess my reasons for not giving a 5 was he was supposed to be a strong dominant yet acted quite childish at times.

OMG...it was so good! What was a cliffhanger turned out incredible!
Absolutely loved the final story about Nate and Ashlee. There was lots to be angry about like when Ashlee got her apartment broken into and the tricks the women from Nate's past pulled, but I was so proud of Ashlee. She is so strong and keeps her head about her.
I love how Nate truly searches his heart to find what he's been searching for his whole life. Finley once again is a dream of a guy. Ashlee is so lucky to have him and her mother behind her. Such a great story. Loads of heat but it also has all the feels you are looking for. Great series M.S. Parker.
I like this book but I can’t give it 5 stars because I didn’t like the ending because in my personal opinion it bad a rushed ending , 1st Net had to wait till the end to say the three words ( I loved you ) then their was the wedding scene. No engagement proposal, no wedding bangs , no romantic honeymoon & no kids . I will loved to read more about Net handling kids and his life turned from being self centered man to what he is today .
I got introduced to the author a week ago. The three books part of the Steamy Boss Romance (Manhattan Records books) have kept me entertained all week. All three stories are great but this one was my favourite (probably because I knew the characters more 😀). I would highly recommend these books. I now have a new author to add to my every growing list of books I need to read.
I loved book 1 of this series. And then in book 2, Nate just kept making the same idotic, immature mistake. And book 3... Wow, there was a lot going on. Almost too much really.
First the 3 women, then Isti, then Finlay and Isti. And earlier it was Ashlees family. That was a side line that added no real value, to be honest. And Roma, Calah and Flora... This whole big news thing and then... Nothing. Then the Isti stuff. Just too much. Should have just been the Isti sideline .

I found this series of books disgustingly ridiculous. The storyline is a knockoff of other books out there. I expected more from this author than what I got. If all one wants to read is one kinky sex scene after the other, then these books are for you. I only completely read the first book. Book two and three I skipped through hoping for something redeemable. Found nothing.
A great ending to a great story. This series was so much more than a billionaire ,BDSM story. It was an intricate tale of evolving relationships in a not so perfect world. I don't know if I rated the other books in this series, because I was excited to see what would happen in the next books, but as always M. S. Parker's books deserve a 5 star rating. I'm ready to put the happy ever after romance down and start a new series of hers.
The Master: Steamy Boss Romance (Manhattan Records Book 3)
I loved this book as much as I loved the others. I will be reading more of your books as soon as I can I enjoy your stories so much. The love and romance, devious people and their evil plots to hurt and destroy others, exciting events and bygones becoming bygones with love, understanding, maturity and forgiveness. This was a wonderful romantic book.
This book had potential but Nate was a selfish ***hole whew flew off the handle over everything and Ashlee was weak & too forgiving. Nate was also a man whore who felt no shame & then got mad when it came to haunt him and Ashlee both. This book was too reminiscent of real life for me. My least favorite I’ve read by her.
The H was supposed to be this big bad Dom, instead he throws tantrums every other minute, he is a rotal wimp who waits for his 23 yr old innocent h to be assertive, forgiving and be the adult in the relationship who gets his sorry ass out of trouble. Sorry, but don’t bother with this book.
The book wasn’t very interesting and I hated the main male character-who was suppose to be a dom. I wanted to tie him up and cane him. The girl put up with whatever he did, because he had a bad relationship with his family. I had a bad relationship with my family, but I don’t bite and beat people. I don’t like those 50 shades books, so I should have known.
Just wow. This entire series held my interest from beginning to end. I binge on all three. This book tackled some tough issue with compassion. I will let you know you will want to scream in some places and swoon in other places Written very well I could feel and see in mind eyes the events Happening.
I loved the Manhattan Records series. I especially liked the concept of continuing the story of the main characters throughout, rather than each book continuing on with different individuals from the previous book. I'm excited to read much more from this author. M.S. Parker will definitely be on my favorite author list.
This series was good… It was a little predictable in some spots, a little wordy in others. It had a few good twists and turns and overall justice was done. I love how Strong Ashley was what a loving forgiving heart
What can I write that could possibly be written to adequately describe this book. I LOVED It. Twists I did not see. Raw emotions, greed, jealousy, spite mixed together made a good story. I will read more of M.S. Market's books.
Loved the story and the characters learning about each other. Showing that age doesn't matter. Life is always about learning from your past. And also to keep last and open mind about changes in life.
Really enjoy this series, I'm glad Ashlee and Mate finally got there HEA, this is a rollercoaster ride that will keep you gripped from the very first chapter of the first book, a few twists and turns that you don't see coming too. Definitely worth the read.
I like the stories about BDSM I am from a generation that never talked about sex What learn from these love stories is new to me The characters are very real This author is wonderful and recommend these books very highly
I could not put the book down. I got this book during Hurricane Ida and it kept from being worried about the winds and rain. Loved the characters and I could not put it down. Thank you.
I loved the story. From all the negative drama of exes and family to the happy moments between the couple and families, it just all flowed seamlessly. This story had a lot of intricacies that I felt were new for Nates character and backstory. 18+. Love the story.
Loved this story! All three! Loved how she made the woman strong but yes submissive and the man dominant but submissive also. I found my self sneaking a chapter her and there while at work.
I enjoyed the story line and the characters in the book. Even though Nate was an ass most of the time he always said sorry and supported her when she needed him.I would recommend this series of books to be read.Great job!
This book is a great ending to Ashley and Nate's series, Manhattan Records. The series is one of my favorites by Ms. Parker. Well developed characters, even if Nate was pretty much a dufuss. I highly recommend not only this book but all three in the series!
I often lose interest during long, drawn out stories. However, with Nate and Ashlee's tale, I stuck with it until the end. It was romantic, erotic, and exciting, while telling a story with numerous twists and turns culminating in the perfect HEA! Enjoy!
