Yvette clear green eyes tear up, she sniffs, glaring at him she points her index finger against his hard-chiseled chest, emphasizing every word.

Really? I can’t stand this! You keep telling me that. I’m trying to be patient.

At the age of 14 years old, Trent Konig, sees his father killed, his mother has been kidnapped by a sex ring, his grandfather is almost killed, and laying beside him on the ground. He urges Trent to shoot the man nearing them that wants to kill the both of them, and he does as his grandfather wishes. His grandfather declares him a man that day.
Trent is next in line to become King of the Elite, he is secretly dating a young girl, Yvette Kaiser, who he wants as his queen, but first he wants her to finish school, they both pledge their love for one another. Trent has made some enemies, during the eight years that have passed since the age of 14, and fears if he vows his love publicly, one of his enemies would do her harm, or she would end up like his mother, who he has yet to be found.
This is the first book of a series, and it is amazing. Ms. Macias does an amazing job, of bringing her readers into a fantasy world, but makes it all seem real, yes she is that talented an author. I urge you to start this series, it is a real roller coaster ride, and has something for everyone. Happy reading!

A dark mafia romance? OH Yes, please! I couldn't wait to get stuck into this after reading the blurb and stuck in I got! I did enjoy this book although I did feel it was a bit rushed in places.

Trent's is the first story and a great start to this series. He is a dark alpha from the Elite, he is the Prince, the next in line to take over the business and he is ready to take his grandfather's place in the world of corruption. Trent has already given his heart and soul to Lady Yvette Kaiser who is from one of the original Elite families. I loved the way Trent wants to protect Yvette. They are a match made for sure but not everyone is of that opinion. Which could cause problems!

It is a well written story for the most part but there were a few times that I found myself having to re-read a section. Despite that, I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Trent is the first book in the exciting and hot mafia romance series of PT Macias. I must confess I have read a lot of mafia romance books because I consider them my guilty pleasure. Nevertheless, this novel was a page turner in a unique an exciting way.
Trent lived a harsh live, having to turn from a kid into a man in speed record to assume his position in the Elites for the sake of his family. He has experienced the consequences of power and greed first hand and realized that appearances are everything in the world of the rich and powerful. Reputation might save your life one day or send you to hell. Therefore, he has hid his true self form the word...too bad there is a lady that knows he is more than he appears to be.
Lady Yvette Kaiser is beautiful and sweet but at the same time knows what she wants and would not relent until she gets it. I believe this determination to be into his life was exactly what Trent needed. I have to say I enjoyed when Yvette gave him attitude or an ultimatum because, otherwise, he would have put their feelings on hold for the sake of protection. Sometimes you need to live the now, otherwise, what you love will be taken away.
For a mafia leader, Trent had a very warm and sweet side for Yvette. He made me swoon when he confessed his love. In regards to Yvette, she made me giggle and smile and feel proud of how strong she can be while still be an innocent Angel in the eyes of Trent. I do believe they are the perfect match.

I can't wait to read the next book in the series. If Trent is any indication, the next book will be totally awesome too!

While I loved the Rhett and Lennox, I have to say Trent might just be my favorite.

At age 14, he was forced to grow up fast by unfortunate events that took place in his life. But being part of the family mafia, he is ready to take his place as king, so to say, of the Elite. However, having made enemies through the years, he fears for the safety of his true love, Yvette, who he secretly dates to avoid putting her in danger. He has dreams for them but there’s danger lurking and things get intense! Trent and Yvette’s story is full of secrets, lies, and corruption and it kept me wanting more as I went through each page. If you’re looking for a dark, mafia suspense story that will take you on a crazy, roller coaster ride, then you want to read Trent!

Different Type of Read

As I said in my header this was a different type of read for me but I liked it. It kept me guessing and interested. I was so caught up in the male lead because the author did what so many authors strive for but never attain. A strong powerful man that could show his love to his woman without losing his strength. Absolutely loved that he didn’t have to boss her around or talk down to her to be a “big strong man”. Women really don’t like that in or out of the bedroom.

The Elite roar!

I loved Trent! The Elite are no one to play with and god help those who touch their women. I love how this author writes descriptive detail what makes a man an Elite. Trent is king. He has suffered much and earned his title not just by birth but by blood as well. They touched the one thing that can make him snap: his woman, his light. Great read and ordering the next in the series.

So, I read Book 2 and I had to go back and read Book 1. I'm so glad I did! This book is filled with drama and suspense. It wasn't a book I could easily put down, I had to drive home from getting car serviced. You better believe it when I got home I continued reading! Trent has this cold all business attitude but you also see the most gentle and loving man. A definite re-read!

Well either I'm reading a different book to the reviewers here or others who felt like me didn't bother leaving a review.
It is one of the worst written books I have read in a long time. The story is stilted and wooden, there is no flow to it and it jumps from one POV to another nothin the dialogue and the basic story. There were times when I couldn't be sure who was speaking (as when both Trent and Yvette were refering to each other as 'baby').
There is almost no description, no build up or suspense to scenes (Trent's guards entered the warehouse and separated William's guards heads frim their bodies. End of scene). WTF where's the suspense and fight scene there?
On top of all that the book is full of typos and spelling mistakes.
If you love a dark romance I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Losing his father and his mother taken, Trent’s grandfather declares him a man after what he did. With Trent being the next King of the Elite, he’s hesitant to let it be known that he’s seeing Yvette, they both love each other, but Trent doesn’t want her to disappear like his mother did because of who he is.
Yvette loves Trent but will she be prepared to be kept a secret, for something that could happen, or will they finally live in the moment and not in fear.

A good story

The author explains the hierarchy of the Elites , so we understand how the organization works . Yvette and Trent are dating in secret, so Trant can protect her. They are deeply in love. Trent is sweet and gentle with her. He is not bossy. There are steamy scenes, as well as action. I like this series.

This was my first book by this author and it took awhile to get into it but then it got interesting. I liked the love story that was developing, and that held my interest. Now I am ready to read book 2. I hope it is fast paced and keeps my interest because I want to see where this is going.

Not what I was expecting

The concept of this book is good. That's about all I can say. There were too many times I didn't know who was speaking. Things got repeated over and over. I couldn't keep up with the timeline. Then it was over. Not a cliffhanger ending. It just ended. I can't even get into the writing and flow of the book. This series is not for me.
