• ways to work with saturn and the moon in community accountable ways
• the violent and unjust history of capital as a magical, not scientific, system of values

You should read this book if:

• you desire to work with an astrology that is in resistance to cultures of neoliberalism and supremacy

• you strive to re-mix symbols of power so that they benefit community and not capital

This is the most jaw-droppingly audacious yet intelligent synthesis of astrological archetypes I’ve ever read. It somehow reads like both a history/cultural theory essay and one long manifesto for taking care of each other – so clearly I love it.

Read this today, Jan 27 2021, while some strange stuff was blowing up on twitter about the stock market and reddit users treating it like a game blah blah blah. Having this to pepper my view made it all the more delightful. "If capital is really the magic that pretends to be rational, then foolhardy magic is the best resistance to neoliberalism." What an expert breakdown of money, agriculture, biopolotics, debt, and how they appear in astrology. I am going to be returning to this one! And I cannot wait to read "Postcolonial Astrology"!!!!!
